RECAP OF CHAPTER THREE:

When everyone woke up the next morning after their small celebration, a note and a trail of candies were found almost immediately. After reading the note (it said that someone wasn't who they said they were, and not to trust anyone), Mercedes started following the trail of candy, and the amazing scent of a meat pie that led to the kitchen. Upon arriving, her and a few others discovered the kitchen was full of baked goods of all kinds, and they began devouring them. Then, a woman named Ginger came in all sweet as can be, until she noticed that Mercedes somehow got ahold of her secret recipe. She started shouting at her and swinging her meat cleaver, demanding that she gave it back. Mercedes tried to make a trade for the artifact that she had and the recipe, but it didn't work. Ginger decided to let them have the artifact, in expense of someone's life...as she needed more meat for her pies. So, they had to vote two people into a eating contest. 

Mercedes and Jules were voted into the challenge/rigged by Ally because she found out they cheated on her but the characters don't know that, and they were in an eating contest. Everyone was there to watch. Much puking later, Jules managed to finish and Ginger was about to yeet Mercedes into the oven for a homemade 'meat' pie when Zeph decided he wanted a cupcake and ran out to eat Mercedes's unfinished cupcakes. So Mercedes yeets him into the oven instead and he blames her and says some really creepy things with his last breath while he is burned alive. Now everyone is still puking and crying and being traumatized, but hey that doesn't matter cause we got the artifact.

After everyone was finished puking, they all start discussing what happened and what Mercedes just did. Some people might even start accusing her of being the one that they can't trust....until she realized that the votes were rigged. What happens beyond that? No one knows...
