Rey POV:

I slowly start regaining consciousness. It hurts all over. I notice the stiff coating of bandages covering my body. I know where I am, I know this smell, the feeling of being alone and not knowing what to do, feeling lost without your parents guidance. I've always blamed myself for for being the cause of this fight between the two organizations. I look around the room and notice my clothes folded. That explains why the two sides are against each other. Because of my father and I.

I try to sit up but it hurts to even try.

"You shouldn't move too much" Maz. I sigh in relief, she's like a mom to me. "Maz, where's Ben? Last time I saw him he was....was--" I murmur.

"He's in stable condition. You have been out for 4 days. Ben is still out cold"

"This has been my fault since the beginning" I laugh. "I should've just--" Maz places her hand on my non bandaged shoulder "don't say anything about that, Ben loves you. I know you have to keep being reminded of his love to you, because you're apparently the only one that keeps him sane" she then chuckles. "even if you are a pain in the ass." I chuckle. "Maz, why is my hair out?"

I roll my eyes and she leaves after replacing my bandages. "I have to get out of here." "I know Rey, have they read you the--" suddenly she's cut off by the cell door opening. A resistance agent/guard whatever, slides in a tray of food and water. "Honestly, I feel bad for that guard" I laugh. Maz sighs. "I'll let you rest now. When Ben wakes, I'll let you know" I smile a 'Thank you' as she leaves before panning my head towards the ceiling. I've yet to be killed and be with my parents. It's worth it.

10 days came and went and I was almost healed but they haven't told me yet. I know what they're planning. They've been planning it for a long time.

I drew a deep, shuddery breath feeling the tears of being alone all these years. I let my emotions take over. I start crying so hard I start shaking my head. "No" I choke out. I keep shaking my head, I take shallow, shuddery breaths.

I'm losing my mind. I decided to turn onto my side, but I must've turned to far and hard cause I immediately fall onto the ground. I let out a bloodcurdling scream as my left shoulder made contact with the metal floor.

It's blurry again, dark spots dancing around my vision as I feel someone lift me up and put me back onto the hospital bed.

Ben POV:

I slowly lifted my heavy eyelids and as the strong smell of anti-bacterial cleaner filled my nose. My mouth was dry and I smacked my lips a few times. I was laying down, in a bed it seemed, and the room was bright. Light from the window reflecting off the white walls, making me want to close my eyes again. I felt like I had slept for years, but I was still tired. I heard the beeping of a machine and slowly turned my head towards the source of the noise. The muscles in my neck were stiff and sore. I saw my mother sitting in a chair by the window, sleeping it appeared. I try lifting my hands, but they seem to be tied down.

"Honey?" A female voice said. I turn my head once more but expecting Rey, but instead it was my mom who probably woken up from her nap. "Where's Rey?" Usually whenever one of us ends up in the medic center we visit each other. "You've been out for 13 days, you should get more rest." "Where's Rey?" I ask more sternly and painfully.

She puts on a sad face and leaves me. "Mother! Where's Rey?!" I yell to her again. I try to get out of the restraints. I plop my head to the pillow, giving up. Was she dead and that's why his mother didn't answer?

Leia POV:

I walk into the security camera room.

"Show me cell 2187 and clear the room"

Once the camera on the cell was activated onto the computer, I saw Rey sleeping but noticed that she had tear stains on her face, and she hasn't eaten her food for the past week.

I sigh.

I turn the camera to another room and see Ben trying to get out of the restraints.

Phasma POV:

"Sir, Hux is gone. The escapees got a away" I bow my head. "I'm sorry sir, we tried to get her back and stop Hux from torturing her"

"Don't worry, he should've died long ago." He put a evil smile on his face and dismissed me.

"Phasma, we managed to get it" a woman trooper said to me handing me the data pad. "Thank you" I sigh and go back to tell Snoke.

Rey POV:

I get up from the hospital bed and walk over to my ripped clothes from the imprisonment.

Hug was kind enough to make my tank top a one shoulder strap. I roll my eyes about what a dick he was.

I put them on and The door suddenly opens.

"Huh" this seems like a trap. I walk up to the door and peek my head out to see where the guard is, to my surprise there is no guard.

The last time I escaped a guard saw me walking down the hall as I grabbed my gun.

I walk as quiet and quickly as I can but with my shoulder I have to be careful.

I'm almost towards the exit until I bump into someone. Poe.

"Poe, please don't" I beg him.

"Do you really think I would bust my best friend?"

"I'm the fucking enemy for Christ sakes"

"No you're not, look I knew your mother and I didn't realize it until I saw you. When I was I don't know 16 and I was being interrogated by the first order, your mom was the only kind face there." I smile because she was always kind to others but only tough when needed.

"Poe, I need to ask you a favor"

The alarm starts to sound and Poe agrees. I hold the guns barrel against Poe's temple, turning the safety off. "Just follow my lead" I whisper in his ear as agents make their way towards us.

Suddenly, the lights turn off and the emergency lights turn on. they're very dim and red but I can still see the exit.

Leia POV:

"Ma'am, the prisoner has escaped... again.
"Sound the alarm! We're still gonna treat her as a threat"

Ben POV:

I hear the alarm going off and then the lights turning off and suddenly I'm free of my restraints until I see a figure untying them. "Maz? What happening?" I ask. "Find Rey, she needs you again" I nod and quickly get up from my bed grabbing my gun and changing into a shirt and sweatpants.

I run as fast as I can, but my leg slows me down, as I try and get to her before anyone else

I ran towards the exit that was open.

Rey POV:

We carefully walked out of the base and into the dark pouring rain.

"Unhand Black Leader!" A man yelled. I keep the gun against his head. The man catches up to us and I stop. Suddenly there was lightning and I got a better look at the mans face. Ben. "Don't move! Or I'll shoot!" I threaten. I could tell Poe was trembling by the way he was gripping me. Ben then takes his gun in his hand and throws it onto the ground and I let Poe go throwing him towards the ground.

"Rey, just put the gun. Down. Now." He says slowly. "You won't understand Ben!" My hands are shaking threatening to shoot. Tears streaming down my face.

"I will if you please just put the damn gun down!" I can sense he's terrified about what I might do.
"No, you won't. I watched my parents get executed right in front of my eyes" I blurted out. His expression changed from fear to confusion. "She didn't tell you did she?" "Tell me what?" "Your mother ordered agents to kill my parents and then kidnap me. My parents and grandpa were the best thing that ever happened to me, but your mother had to rip it all away from me!" I yell to him "What do you want me to do Rey?! I can't bring them back!"

"No, you can't." I say softly. "I guess I'll just have to join them" I choke out as I turn the gun to my head.

"NO!" Is the last thing I hear from Ben as I pulled the trigger.

Ben POV:

"NO!" I run towards her and pulled the gun out of her hands but I couldn't, she held onto it tightly and instead it hit her in the chest. she had pulled the trigger. She shot herself in the heart. "No" I choke out. "Not again" I put pressure on her gunshot wound in hopes to stop the blood flow.

I carried her in my arms as quickly as I can to the hospital. I can't take her back to the resistance base. "Help! It's My girlfriend!" I yell and a nurses come and as they take her away to the operation room the nurse asked me what happened and I told her "I don't know, she-- she just-- her parents had died years ago and she's been alone ever since and decided to shoot herself" I don't really know the answer.

I take one last look at her before the double doors close. The nurse leads me to the waiting room and I grab a newspaper and scan the missing persons section and I see something out of the ordinary, Rey's last name but strangely the first name is different.
