I was hiding in my homeroom which is class 2-C, I can hear all the other students screams echo all over the school. I grip the baseball bat in my hands as I guard my very best friend; Misuzu Ichijou who is my classmate this year.

Misuzu was knocked unconscious by one of our male classmates who along with everyone else ran out of the room in a panic. I undid Misuzu's hair so I can see the damage, I wanted to be a nurse so I would help out nurse Marikawa on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays after school. And I was relieved, when Misuzu only had a bump on the top left side of her head I left her to rest on top of another classmate of ours gym bag. I just removed the girl's shoes, from the bag.

I pushed all the desks and chairs to both doors in our classroom, when I saw several of those dead students who are covered in blood and are missing parts of their bodies. Our class, had gym class, first period so everyone had their gym uniforms either in the locker rooms or here in the classroom. I folded both of Misuzu's and my P.E. uniform in my bubble gum pink book bag, I changed both mine and Misuzu's indoor shoes for our slip on gym shoes, so when we are on the move we won't have to stop.

I hear a thump on the door and I snap my head to the sound, only to see one of those dead students, ripping a male teacher's throat open and eating him. I almost puke, but I keep it together to be strong for Misuzu. I check on her again and I just see her still sleeping, I grab my washcloth and put some more cool water on it and rest it on Misuzu's head. I know if she was awake right now, we would probably be running around somewhere, until we get surrounded by the dead ones.

I made a check list of what we had, it is defiantly not much:
(1) water bottle
(2) spare clothes
(1) weapon
(1) washcloth
(2) cell phones
(3) unopened curry bread from the cafeteria.

Their was four but I ate that, cause I missed lunch... Now I will stay here till Misuzu is up then the two of us will head for the faculty room and wait there, incase anyone else survived this nightmare and had the same idea.

I soon think of my younger brother who goes to one of the elementary schools in this area, and I pray he is alright...
