Sup fam! I wrote this chapter pretty long so I hope you enjoy this chapter!

I felt someone shaking me from my sleep of course me being me I grumbled "Five more minutes...please" I mumbled absently, cuddling up to the warm pillow beside me. "Raph.." I heard the pillow whisper 'wait. Pillows can't talk' I slightly opened one eye to see if it was a pillow only to see a plastron right up on my face. I immediately looked up to see leo's face looking down at me "I..um" I let go of him quickly having the soft blush on my face "It okay" Leo said making me look at his face. He had a soft smile on his face which made him look adorable it reminded me of the past how me and Leo used to sleep together all the time. I sighed getting up "We should get to the kitchen for breakfast, kay Leo?" Leo nodded as he got up I can tell he wasn't fazed by what just happened how I don't know...We then headed towards the kitchen only to find April and Casey there and my brothers "Sup Raph" Casey said, heading towards where I was before I could responded Leo got in front of me blocking Casey completely "Hey Leo it's okay he's a friend" I tried to reassure him but he didn't budge. What surprised me the most was that he gave a low growl casing Casey to back away Leo then hugged me nuzzling me which only surprised me more. "Who's that? And what is he doing to Raph?" April asked lookin' at Leo weirdly. "Um this is Leo..and obviously he's hugging Raph" Mikey said stating the obvious. "Kay, Leo what's wrong?" Leo didn't respond but only hugged me tighter geezus he's strong for his size. "Who..ar-are they?" Leo asked softly staring at Casey and April "That's Casey he's my best bud" I explained, pointing at Casey then pointed at April "And that's April she's smart like Donnie and like Casey a really good friend" "Hey Uh Leo? Like Raph said I'm April! Wanna be friends?" she asked having her hand out wanting to shake Leo's hand but he didn't he just looked away holding me tightly "Come on bro she ain't gonna hurt ya" "No..." came his reply. "Bro seriously she ain't gonna hurt ya, ya can trust her" This time he looked at her, eyeing her and Casey he then let go of me and walking straight towards I thought that he'll shake her hand but he just walked past both April and Casey heading towards the lab as if they didn't exist. "Rude much isn't he? Thought he'd be in a better mood if he slept with you" Donnie murmured drinking his coffee. Casey's eyes widen and so did April's "Well..I didn't know you rolled that way Raph...." I rolled my eyes, growling a bit "Shut it Case I don't roll that way" "Bro I don't judge I'll still be yer best bud" He said defensively "Listen I ain't like dat a'right? Leo is my brother kay?" I snapped "Kay whatever ya say Raph" Leo suddenly walked back in the kitchen then looked at me an awkward look came on his face "Sorry...hungry.." I shook my head smiling a bit "Why didn't ya just stay here then? If ya were hungry Leo" he gave a shrug "C-can I have that hot water drink you always make?" He asked "Leo it's called green tea" He then gave a sheepish look, nodding. Everyone was now eating breakfast at first it was silent and I'm just here expecting someone to ask a dumb question. "So....where were you before Leo? If you don't mind me asking that is" April asked staring down at Leo I can tell she's suspicious bout him. He looked at her for bit processing what she asked him "I lived in...lab before here..it was dark and bad" he explained "Okay..and what did you do there?" she continued honestly I kind of felt uncomfortable with her questions because I mean even I don't know and the way we found him I really didn't want to know..yet at the same time I wanted to know. Silence fell as he took more than a second to think, I tensed a bit waiting for his response while making his green tea."Not what I did what they made me do....I..hurt people..and they never wake up..I.I.." He stopped, he was panicking and trembling. I then went over to Leo not even caring about the tea. "Leo..Leo everything is okay please calm down" I said softly hugging him tightly he hugged back sobbing at this point I shot a glare towards April, growling a bit "Way to go April" I snarled as I took Leo back to my room "Everything will be okay Leo just calm down" I said ever so softly trying to get him to calm down.

Third Person P.O.V

"Ever since that thing came to our lives Raph acts like Leo is some precious fragile doll that can break at any moment" Donnie scoffed "Has Raph been acting like this ever since you guys brought Leo back?" Casey asked wondering about his best bud. "That isn't Leo! Leo would be most likely dead at this point! And even if it was Leo he'd have remembered us in our first encounter!" Donnie shouted slamming his hands on the table. "Donnie chill the only way we'll ever convince Raph that Leo's dead if we show him his body" Mikey scoffed "Whoa whoa whoa..whoa what do you guys mean by this leo being dead?" Casey interjected. Donnie gave a soft sigh "Might as well explain what happened.." he said softly Mike just gave Donnie a 'are you sure you wanna tell them?' face which Donnie just nodded. Donnie gave yet another sigh "It all started when we were 11.."

Flashback... (It's Donnie's P.O.V in the flashback)

All of us were in harmony...Splinter was still alive and well.....at the age of 11 is when he'll decide who will get to be leader..Leo and Raph at that point were the best of friends they got along so well you'd think that it was fantasy... back then Mikey smiled, I enjoyed inventing...it was all like a fantasy...anyway Splinter was finally deciding who will be the leader of our team...

"My sons I know all of you have been working hard to earn this honorable title...Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michaelangelo...all of you have been working hard and have some of the characteristics a true leader has and only one of you shall earn this delightful and honorable title" Splinter said. Me and Mikey didn't really mind who would be leader all I cared about is how to invent or study something new and Mikey only cared about were his video games. "My sons I have finally chosen the new leader of this small lan our ours.." All of paid attention and before he could announce who will be leader I heard Leo and Raph whispering "I bet I'll be choosen to be leader!" Raph whispered "Remember Raph I get to be second in command" Leo whispered back excitingly he then whispered again "You'll be the best leader ever" were his encouraging words. "The new leader of the clan shall be.." our father announced Raph was starting to get up until Splinter said " Leonardo...I entrust you into keeping this clan safe and protected" I looked at Leo as he was surprised and he smiled widely nodding "Of course father" he said bowing. I remember me and Mikey burst out laughing at Raph making fun of him...Embarrassed he started to leave until Leo grabbed his wrist "Raphie where are you going?" He then turned around and shouted... "You were supposed to be my second in command not leader! I was suppose to be leader not you!!..I hate you Leonardo!! I wish you'd just leave this family!! Better yet why not die for all I care!! I hate you!! I hate you!!! I hate you!!!" he screamed at him and ran towards his room slamming the door. After that Leo sobbed, crying his eyes out he even told Sensei if Raph could be leader instead...Leo really cherished his friendship with Raph and brothership.... When Splinter said he couldn't Leo ran away Mikey was crying and so was I..Splinter went to look for Leo...Splinter came back....but Leo never came back..Splinter wouldn't explain to us what happened and Raph was completely depressed and blamed himself for everything even having Splinter sick. Raph became Leader just as he wished but he never wanted it like that if he could he would've given the leadership up..

Flashback has ended

"Raph loved Leo a lot and the way you put it Casey..it makes me think that Raph loves Leo more" I said out loud "After Leo disappeared and Splinter's death I took it as my responsibility to have this place clean, shiny, and just overall normal..." Mikey explained "So Raph thinks this guy is Leo?" April asked looking skeptical about the entire thing "For now yes..he's stuck in the past..he thinks that Leo is still here when he isn't heck he doesn't even let us pack Leo's things from his room because he thinks Leo would come back" I scoffed. "Maybe he's in denial..there are some people like that when coming to face a sudden death, lost, or something like that...I'll check some books out of psychology of that I also want to know about that guy too...he acts like a beaten dog and barely talks well" April said, I nodded, "You wouldn't mind me borrowing those books? Do you?" I asked "No! Not at all just make sure to give it back after I use them because I need to return them" April said smiling. I just gave a soft smile back, we then heard footsteps coming into the kitchen we watched Raph as he got himself two drinks most likely for that monster he then walked out as if we didn't exist. "Do you think you can get close to the guy to study how he acts?" "Can't. Raph is with him 24/7" Mikey responded boringly. "This is going to be harder than I thought..." April said probably thinking of something. "We'll try" was my only response. April nodded, getting up "I'll check out those books I'll see you guys at a later time. Come on Casey we should head" Casey groaned "I was hopin' I could hang with Raph.." he pouted "I don't think he wants us here, now let's go" she said. April and Casey had left not too long ago.  Mikey was..somewhere doing something my day continued and it was close to late and I wanted to keep working so I went to the kitchen to make myself coffee when I got close to the kitchen I heard voices so I hid and listened "Everything will be okay" "I'm sorry" "You don't have to apologize Leo" I knew right then and there it was Raph and Le-no that beast. I came out of my hiding and went back to the lab and continued my work 'I guess no coffee tonight' I thought to myself working on my latest invention.

Sup fam! So what do you guys think? getting a hint of Leo's backstory not much but we're getting close!!  Anyway I hope you enjoyed this chapter and get ready for Chapter 8!! And remember stay awesome!!!
