Chapter 4

After a while of laying in my bed I heard a knock at my door I groan I didn't want to be disturbed at all I didn't want to talk to anyone. I got up to see who was at the door I opened the door I was met with Mikey in front of me I rolled my eyes a bit just about to close the door on 'em. He pushed the door opened as I glared at 'em. "Bro come on don't be like that. We weren't making fun of you just so you know." he said softly "Since when did I claim ya were? Besides, I never thought 'we' and 'fun' will be used in the same sentence when yer around" I growled. He all but just frowned at me "I've grown up Raph unlike you. I'm not who I use to be eve-" "Unlike me!?!? At least I don't ignore everyone and act like some old man!! And incase ya didn't know I've been the only one that believed that Leo was still out there!!" I hissed, well more like screamed. He gave me a soft glare, but said nothing and left me alone I looked around about to close my door only to see Donnie right there except he gave me a glare and stalked right at me. "You shouldn't have said that to Mikey. He's been through a lot ever since Leo disappeared" Donnie growled "At least Mikey hasn't shut himself inside his room all day only to come out to eat, use the bathroom and train!!! At least he was willing to move on for the family just like me!! We aren't as ignorant as you are Raph!! At least we are actually trying to help Leo!! " his voice had been rising from the beginning as I growled and gave a deep breath looking at him with my golden eyes "And ya' think that about me Donnie-boy? Huh. You say that now, but who was tha one that kept being 'ignorant' believing that Leo was still alive out there..somewhere, and who the heck said I didn't care about 'em? Who said I wasn't hurtin'? Who said I don't wanna help Leo?" I said ever so softly as I kept talking I have had enough of Donnie so I closed my door of my room but I was able to see his face shock of what I said. But, Who's ta say that I don't wanna help my brother? Night time fell as always we don't head out to patrol as much not ever since Splinters death....yeah he died while we were still pretty young. I was 13 when he died two years after Leo's disappearance. He got super sick a year later I think we all knew deep down he wouldn't make it no matter how much we denied it. Anyway, enough of the sad stuff and onward to the future of our lives that'll hopefully get better.

Leo P.O.V

I had heard their argument between Don and Raph. At first I did not know what they meant by 'Who said I don't wanna help Leo?'. Were they talking about me? Am I Leo? I have grown use to not having a name to go by, but listening to them talking I came to realize that they must be talking about me. I heard the door creek ever so softly interrupting my thoughts I looked over to see someone at the door. Growling at the figure entering the room the figure got closer I was able to see it was Raph in the very dim light of the room. I stopped growling and stared at him he smiled at me "Hey bud, How's it going?" he asked in a cheerful manner I knew he wasn't in a good mood. He sat near the cage staring at me I stared back at him seeing any other tension, emotion or some type of body language, but he showed none. I just scoffed at him and turned from him, looking at the wall with bars. "Hey bud don't be like that." his voice slightly changed I gave a side look to him my eyes slightly widen to his face was tired he looked so tired and hurt. My eyes soften at him and gave a soft smile to him which only made his eyes widen at me I again only gave a smile and turned to look at the wall with bars on them. I heard the door slam shut as I gave a questioning look seeing that he was gone. 'I wonder what caused him to leave so quickly?' I thought to myself I just shrugged his odd behavior off as I tried to fall asleep.

Time skip to morning~

Raph P.O.V

He smiled at me!!! He freaking smiled at me!!! Wait..what does that mean? (Crap I am making this sound like an Leo x Raph fic idk would you guys want me to? XP) Morning was here finally as I got up to head to the kitchen I saw Donnie and Mikey eating as usual Donnie had his bad mood cause he didn't have his coffee and Mikey was, well Mikey. I grabbed a bowl cereal and sat down on the other side from them. "Ya know I saw someone go into the lab last night anyone have a clue who it was?" Mikey asked out of the blue Donnie just grumbled 'I didn't do it' so they both looked at me "Err yeah I did so what? Got a problem with me going to see Leo?" I hissed Mikey shook his head and said "Did he ignore you?" slight venom in his voice might I add ta that. "Nah he didn't he actually smiled at me which I really don't know what that means, but I been wonderin if we should ya know get Leo to speak again." I said only to have Donnie cough from his coffee glaring at me "Are you insane? Leo has been through who knows what how are we going to get him to talk!? Let alone he barely even knows who he is!!!" I snarled "If we try we might get him to talk, and this might be bad ta say, but why don't we just let Leo ya know out of the cage. If we want to gain his trust don't we got to trust 'em?" I was again yelled at by Donnie "You must actually be crazy!!!!! WE are not gonna allow him out like that just because he smiled at you!!! I mean he acts like a wild animal I wouldn't be surprised if he attacked one of us like one!! Face it Raph there is barely any help for Leo." I growled "Last time I checked ya said that ya and Mikey want to help 'em. Why not now?" "Because, me and Mikey realized that there isn't any hope we tried to give him normal food, but he rejects if you want to help him go right ahead, but know this Raphael if he attacks you..you'll take care of your own wounds not me." He said as he left to go to his room Mikey the whole entire time just sat there and did nuthin he left right after Donnie. I slammed my fist into the table "Fine I don't need yer help!!! None of ya help!!! I'll help Leo if it's the last thing I do!!!" I screamed on top of my lungs pure rage was racing through my system I was angry I was angry at them for giving up. I headed towards the lab with some scramble eggs Imma try to get Leo ta eat somethin else than raw meat. I entered to lab and closed it, locking it as well I head straight towards Leo's cage he immediately woke up growling and ready to fight, but once he saw me he stopped and just watched me. (Watch me whip watch me...I'm sorry I had too XD fite me) I smiled as sat down on the floor putting the plate on the floor. "Hey Bud i got somethin different for ya'. Do ya think ya can eat it?" I asked as I moved the plate towards him he smelled it and started to stick out his tongue at it as if trying to taste it. I chuckled a little seeing him react such a way with different foods he probably has forgotten. He started to eat it 'strange he didn't reject it' I thought to myself I heard a soft rumble I looked to see that I was face to face with Leo I just smiled "I see ya liked them. Want some more?" I asked him he smiled signifying a yes. The days went by as I started to teach Leo how to use forks and what not as well to eat new things his favorite overall was trying chocolate he can't get enough of the stuff drives 'em crazy that's why I rarely give 'em chocolate. "I'll see ya later buddy. Night" I said smiling and walked out closing the lab door as I turned I was faced with Donnie and Mikey both of them looked pissed. "Uhh can I help you two?" I asked a little irritation in my voice "How's the training?" Mikey asked "Fine." was all I said as I moved them both so I can head to my room I was freaking tired especially when Leo wanted to learn how to walk like us. "Have you ever let him out?" a voice interrupted my thoughts I looked over to Donnie now that I think about it I haven't..yet, but I will at some point. "No, not yet but I will." I said trying hard to get to my room...my warm and soft hammock...man do I wanna sleep in my hammock...all I could hear from those two was babbling which of course classic Raph does not care about whatsoever. "I'll talk to ya later guys, night" I said as I close my door and laid right on top of my hammock not caring that I was barely even on it falling asleep immediately. Tomorrow is gonna be a loooong day.
 

Oh man I hope this is long!! XD It was 1719 words on this thing ;-; but it was worth it!!!! I hope this satisfy you guys from me missing for so long .3. by the way I really do wanna know  if you guys do want me to do that. Please leave a comment I always love to hear you guys opinions as it helps me be a better writer .3.
