I awoke from a crash that happened outside of the lab I was in not too long after I heard yelling. 'MIKEY!!!' and 'Chill bro it was just a prank haha!!!'. I sighed listening to their footsteps pounding the ground...running...that's what they're doing they're running...how much I wish I could be as free as them running having the wind hit my face...the fresh crisp, coolness of it and feeling free no one telling you what to do or treating you like an animal...oh how much I wish I was free just like them. Free to do what you want no one watching your every move. I snapped out of my thoughts hearing the door open. I saw Don I watched him coming closer to my cage "Good morning Leo" he smiled softly "I brought you breakfast" he said timidly I looked down slightly to notice the bowl of meat in his hands I scoffed at him looking away facing my shell towards him. I heard a sigh listening when he would leave. 'Can they not just leave me be.' I thought to myself bitterly. I heard the door shut not even realizing that Don left. I rolled my eyes 'Finally he's gone' I once again heard the door open i didn't bother to turn around mainly because I thought it was Don again. "So ya gonna ignore meh? Or are ya gonna speak, because I know ya can speak so don't act like ya don't" Bitterness in his voice I didn't want to listen to this particular turtle, but I had to. I started to get up slightly sitting up as I finally looked at him my eyes narrow as I growled at him. I heard him sigh as I watch his hand shakingly touch the bars staring at me with such sad eyes as if he...had missed me or someone for a very long time. "I didn't think we would find ya Leo..I thought you..died out there I couldn't live with that fact. I couldn't live with the fact we...I couldn't help ya back then" his voice started to crack as if he were about to sob. I felt sympathetic for him as I whimpered and nuzzled the bars near his hand trying to comfort him. His golden amber eyes met my sapphire blue eyes "I missed ya, Leo I really did.." his eyes were red and slightly puffy I guess he was crying. I stared at him for a couple of seconds as I turned my shell towards him and laid back down once again closing my eyes trying to fall asleep once again.

Raph P.O.V

I watched Leo go back layin down I got up and left only to see my brothers staring at me with pure shock "What?" I asked, confused. "Y-you went to see Leo?" Mikey asked shocked that I went in there. embarrassed that they saw me go in I growled "Yeah? So what can't a bro see their bro?!" I yelled at him as I stomped back to my room I slammed the door going straight towards my bed. I sighed "I wish we were the same as back then' I thought to myself. Thing is we ain't the most perfect family out there after what happened to Leo. Donnie became a loner when Leo disappeared he just stayed inside his lab since he wanted to find where Leo was at the time no one could get 'em out of that darn lab no matter how hard anyone tried. Mikey stopped smiling he lost complete interest when Leo disappeared he became more serious as we grew up honestly this is the first time he even showed some type of concern and good ol' me? I missed Leo to death I missed him so much he was basically my best bud he told me his secrets and I told him my secrets we always had each other's back not until that fateful day....

Flash back~

"My sons I have finally chosen the new leader of this small clan of ours" father said. I puffed my chest a bit completely confident of myself as I looked at Leo "I bet I'll be chosen" I whispered excitedly "Remember Raphie I get to be second in command" he whispered back just as excited I nodded towards him "You'll be the best leader" he said encouragingly I smiled towards him. "The new leader of this clan shall be.." I just started to get up until I heard who's name father had called "Leonardo...I entrust you into keeping this clan safe and protected" I looked at Leo as he was surprised and he smiled widely nodding "Of course father" he said. I heard burst of laughters as I saw Donnie and Mikey laughing at me. Embarrassed I started to leave until a hand grabbed my wrist "Raphie where are you going?" I snarled and turned around "You are suppose to be my second in command not leader! I was suppose to be leader not you!!..I hate you Leonardo!! I wish you'd just leave this family!! Better yet why not die for all I care!! I hate you!! I hate you I hate you!!!" I screamed at him and ran towards my room slamming it. It was my time to shine it was suppose to me to become leader not him!

End of flashback~

I felt so stupid back then and I regret everything I said I just wish I could go back in time to stop myself and maybe just maybe nothing would have happened. 'I wish.....'
