Ch-82, Of Various Forms Of Love!

"Love has various forms.
It could be friendship, sacrifice or adoration!"

That day in the school, Rudhi and Rudra were sitting together as usual. Monishika and Ashutosh were sitting behind them.

"Give me my pencil back!" Monishika suddenly yelled and Rudhi and Rdura turned around to see.

"No I won't! This is mine!" Ashutosh said clutching the pencil tight in his hand.

"But this is Moni's pencil!" Rudhi frowned and Rudra instantly tried to snatch it from Ashutosh's hand.

Ashutosh was one of the naughty kids who just never studied. He always troubled all the children and the teachers a lot. Teachers were now tired complaining about him to his parents.

"No! This is mine!" He yelled and shoved off Rudra's hand away.

"You're such a bad boy!" Rudhi commented, just the dramatic face she always made.
"I'll tell my Baba and then he will talk to Moni's Baba and then they will scold you!" She rolled her eyes at him dramatically.

"Okay fine! I'll give it back to her!" Ashutosh cowered listening to Rudhi. He didn't want to be scolded by someone else's parents afterall.

But being the naughty kid he was, instead of handing the pencil back to Monishika, he threw it to her side which caused the pencil to fall far away and break.

Rudra quickly went to pick up the pencil, but it was already broken into teo pieces.

"Why did you break my pencil?" Monishika shouted.

"It was not a good one, my pencils never break." He said with extra attitude and turned around to play with some other friend of his.

"Don't worry Moni.... Your Baba will get you a new one." Rudhi said sadly.

"But that was my favourite pencil!" She cried.

"It's okay, you don't cry okay? We will tell Madam Rosy when she comes." Rudhi smiled and her friend grinned too.

"Rudhi! Moni! We won't talk to Ashutosh now!" Rudra said, sitting beside Rudhi.

"Yess! We'll be Katti with him!" Rudhi told with her mouth inflated in anger just like she pouted like her Maa.

"You're so cute!" Rudra laughed, popping her cheeks with his fingers and the three kids giggled happily.

......

"This couldn't be true Batuk!" Mallika shook her head vigorously. She just couldn't believe.

"This is the truth Mallika! And I'm... I'm sorry!" He looked down sadly, tears threatening to fall off his eyes.

"Batuk... We..." She couldn't speak further as a sob escaped her mouth and she dropped down to the floor, crying.

"Mallika please! Please.... don't... cry.." He spoke with tears in his own eyes. He didn't even feel right to confront her right then.

"Why Batuk? Why us?" She just cried mindlessly, not even registering his words.

"I... I'm so sorry! I... I don't deserve your love Mallika!" He sat down beside her on the floor and held her shoulders gently.
"Listen to me! Som Dada told us that he has talked to a doctor in London. If everything's fine after the treatement, that's the best. Otherwise...." He stopped.

"Otherwise?" Mallika frowned at him.
"Otherwise what Batuk?" She asked, her sobs controlled now.

"Otherwise you can... you may happily divorce me." He spoke, his own words stabbing his heart.

But that's what he had he learnt from his Dada, right? Your happiness doesn't natter when it comes to your Love's happiness.

"What?? " she asked as if literally not understanding his words.

"Yes! I... I'll myself find a good man for you.. Maybe a... A real man." He said and her eyes just teared up all over again, but this time in anger.

"SHUT UP!" Mallika shouted, closing her eyes tightly.
"What the hell Batuk? How can you even say that to me?" She cried looking at him, holding his shoulders and literally shaking his body angrily.

"Ma.. Mallika I love you! I can't see you unhappy!" He told, genuinely trying to explain her.

"So what do you think I do then?" She snapped at him.
"I love you too Stupid Human!! How the hell did you even think I'll ever even think of another man, let alone marry him?" She shouted, her voice breaking.

"And what do you even mean by a REAL MAN? You are my Real Man! You're the only one I'd chose over the whole world!!" She shouted and cried at the same time.
"I hate you Batuk! I hate you for saying this!" She said, not even meaning what she said.

But wasn't that how his Mallika was? Speaking without meaning anything was what she always did! Batuk thought and smiled with tears.

"SAY SORRY RIGHT NOW!" She demanded.

"I'm sorry Sweetheart! I won't let you marry anyone else, you're mine! Just mine!" He apologized and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her onto his lap.

"Batuk!" She cried, wrapping her arms around his neck and snuggling more into his neck.
"I love you! I love you so muchh!" She cried, her sobs muffling against the skin of his neck.

That's what Batuk needed to hear. When someone is in self doubt, they don't need advises, they don't need confrontation or solutions either. They just need a mere acceptance! They just need to hear and know that no matter how weak or worthless they feel, there's still someone who loves them, who loves them truly, with all their flaws.

"I love you so much more my Sweetheart!!!" He whispered, kissing the top of her head, touched by her words.

"We'll surely have a baby, Batuk! And even if we don't, I have you! Thats enough! If I've my Batuk beside me, I don't need anything or anyone else in this world." She spoke hugging him tightly to herself.

"Oh Mallika!" He just cried out of love, so overwhelmed by her love for him.
"But I promise, I'll do everything and anything for us to have a baby! We'll be parents for sure one day, I promise!" He said, cupping her face and kissing her forehead after he wiped her tears.

Mallika just nodded with a smile, ponds of tears in her eyes. She wrapped her arms around him and looked at his eyes lovingly.

How precious he was to her! She wondered and looking at him with an intense gaze of love, closed the gap between their lips.

Batuk didn't even flinch for a second and kissed her back more lovingly, deepening the kiss as his hands held her waist tightly.

"I love you!" She murmured against his lips as he kissed her even more passionately.

"I love you too!" He replied, still not leaving her lips.

This was just the moment to show the love they had for each other. Relationships do go through a lot of tests and trials and most of the time we don't even register this. We never know when would life hand us a question paper and what moment. We just know that we can only pass it if we handle every relationship with utmost love and care.

....

"You're so beautiful Maa!" Rudhi exclaimed as she was cuddling with her mother that night.

"I can't agree to it anymore." Anirudh sighed as he had his arm rested over both Rudhi and Bondita.

"Puchki you think I'm beautiful?" Bondita gasped feeling so happy.

"Ofcourse! Just like...." She thought for a moment.
"Just like the photo Kaka Dadu showed me today!" She told excitedly.

"Who's photo?" Anirudh asked with a smile.

"Umm.... I forgot the name.... she was wearing an orange saree... No yellow!" Rudhi was trying hard to remember what she saw.
"And she was with two men! Who were also wearing the same colour." She added.

"Orange saree? Two men?" Bondita wondered thinking deeply.
"Tell me something more about the picture Puchki." She asked, enjoying this game with her daughter.

Afterall, Rudhi will be learning to describe the things she saw in a better way. That was an important art people would generally lack.

"Her hair was so long, just like you!" She told happily, moving her fingers through Bondita's hair.
"And she was smiling just like Maa!" She told Anirudh and he smiled at his daughter.

"And?" He asked as he saw Rudhi was enjoying this too.

"And... And she wasn't wearing slippers. Just like Maa doesn't wear in the kitchen." Rudhi recalled.
"Oh yess!! They was in the forest too!"

"Devi Sita!" Anirudh gasped, looking at Bondita and all of a sudden he too could see his wife just like that.

Bondita eyes moistened instantly. Rudhi had envisioned her as Sita.. The Goddess Sita? How could she ever be happier? This was definitely the best compliment she'd ever gotten in her whole life.

"Yes! That's the name Kaka Dadu told!.... Sita Maa.... Just like my Maa!" Rudhi grinned happily.

"Indeed she is.... my Sita!" Anirudh smiled at his wife and Bondita just blushed looking away.

"She is?" Rudhi gasped, giggling as her father nodded with a smile.

"She's a goddess Rudhi, I can't compared to her maybe." Bondita told her daughter.

"No Mishti it's fine!" Anirudh said instead.
"Your Thakurda must've told you, Devi Sita was the epitome of purity, love, sacrifice and bravery! And so is your Maa. She might not be a goddess for anybody else, but for me she is.... my Goddess! And she could be yours too, if you're wise enough to understand all her actions and feelings. You'll know how pure and divine your mother is, when you start to see the world around you." Anirudh smiled at his daughter as she listened to her Baba carefully.

"I love you Maa!" Rudhi hugged Bondita tightly, burying her face in the warmth of her mother's chest.

"I love you more my Baby!" Bondita caressed her hair lovingly.

"And What about me?" Anirudh pouted dramatically.

"We love you too!" They giggled and he wrapped them in his arms.

"Puchki you know who were those men in the picture?" Bondita asked, caressing her daughter's hair.

"Yes! They were Lord Ram and his brother Lakshman Ji!" Rudhi told, her Kaka Dadu had told her the story of the Ramayan so many times.

"Yes! And if you think I'm like goddess Sita, your Baba is the Lord Ram to this Sita!" Bondita smiled making Anirudh look at her with an expression of surprise and love.
"He's the epitome of love, wisdom, bravery, righteousness and calmness too! He's just the best!" Bondita told with a smile.

"Yes Maa! He's our favourite!" Rudhi giggled, clapping her hands.
"My Favourite!"

Anirudh's eyes almost teared up as he heard his daughter say that he was her favourite. He just glanced at Bondita with love and hugged Rudhi tightly.

"Am I? You're my favourite too Mishtu!" He almost cried as Rudhi snuggled more into him, giggling and nodding.
"Baba Love you Baby!" He spoke against the skin of her chubby cheek and kissed it as she giggled.
