You won't understand someone, until you feel what they felt... ❤️  And that's what had happened with Anirudh. He had experienced something new, something different,  which Bondita had ben experiencing since a long time.

As Bondita came out and walked to him, he was lost in his thoughts.

"Pati Babu!" She snapped her fingers in front of him. "I am done!... Vibhu will bring the reports home with her in the evening." She told him.

Anirudh smiled at her lovingly and held her hand. She smiled at the same feeling she got as he held her hand, which she used to get four years back.

They walked out of the clinic and sat in the car. "Are you nervous about your reports?" He asked her with a sweet smile.

"A little bit!... I haven't been doing much for my health recently." She told. "But I am sure, Dugga Maa will make it all good!" She added with a smile.

"Indeed!..." He replied happily and drove back to home. He was just thinking about that little child and chaining his thoughts. Bondita was quite tired so she rested her head back on the seat and closed her eyes. Anirudh decided not to disturb her and tell it to her later.

As they reached home, they headed to their room to freshen up.

"Give me your clothes, Pati Babu!" She said.

"What?!" He asked, being confused. "Dont be seductive, in the morning itself!" He smirked, as she was busy removing her earings.

"What?" She turned back, her face blushing and she laughed a bit. "I want them to keep in the laundry, Pati Babu!... We visited a hospital, right?" She told him.

"Dont think too much!..." She smirked at him and he bit his tongue getting embarrassed.

"Oh!... I just... Meant...Forget it!" He shrugged and went away to the washroom laughing hard.

Bondita laughed out loud as she saw him going inside the washroom.

When he came out, she had already changed into a lighter saree and  was preparing to go down.
He had worn a kurta as he was at home that day. He threw the towel on the couch and Bondita shook her head irritatedly.

Even after four years of marriage and on being told the same thing every single day, he had not stopped to throw his wet towel either ob the bed or on the couch. Bondita felt like a typical wife, when she scolded him for this, but she had no option!... Afterall, this was the only thing about him that irritated her, apart from his short temper though, but she just liked doing it for him. She liked letting him just as he wanted to.

As she kept away the towel, he spoke, "You know what happened today in the clinic, Bondita?"

"What?" She asked looking up at him.

"I saw a very cute...." Before he could complete, Maa called Bondita from downstairs.

"Bondita!...Beta just come down to me!..."Maa shouted from the hall and Bondita looked in the same direction.

"I'll just come, Pati Babu!... " she said in a hurry and  ran past him.

"Aray, but!.... Listen to me!" He called from behind.

"Later!..."she said, without turning back or stopping and ran down quickly.

Anirudh sighed deeply. He really wanted to talk to Bondita about he felt, but she didn't have time for him that day!...

He went to take out some files from his cupboard when hsi eyes fell on their diary!... The diary which has been their companion since a long time now. It has been their favorite communicator!... All the big things in life, which they couldn't say to each other directly, were conveyed by this diary. He picked it up with a sweet smile and thought of writing his message into it.

He sat on the bed and started writing.

"My Dearest Bondita

It's been quite a long time since I wrote something in this diary, but now I think is the right time. I wanted to tell you something beautiful!... You are gonna love it, Jaan!....

Today, when we were in the clinic and you went inside for your check- up, I saw a really cute child!...
I mean, that toddler was sitting beside me. He had probably come for his check up, but he was such a bubbly, little baby!...

He talked unstoppably and played around. You know, he was touching my fingers softly and that made my heart flutter!.... I just felt like being so close to that baby!....

And the most important thing!.... When he had went inside to the doctor, and was most probably getting injected, he ran out and hugged my leg tightly, crying. And you know, what he called me?.... He called me "Baba"! It was such an overwhelming moment Bondi!.....I felt tears almost welling up in my eyes, when I picked him up and he wrapped his little arms around my neck.

That hug felt so soothing!... Though he was afraid, but it felt as if he took away all my pain, all my sorrows and all my worries with that hug. And at that very moment, I could feel you!... I could feel what you were feeling since so mny days!.... I could feel why you were so eager to be near babies and why did you want to have one!....

I understand you, Bondita!..... I understand your emotions so well now!... And I am sorry that I couldn't do this earlier!.... Forgive me for not understanding my dear wife!....

But now, I am with you in every decision you take!..... I also want us to have a child!... If your reports come out to  be normal and Vibhavari suggests us, we will definitely move ahead, Jaan!.....

Yes, We will have a baby!... A baby of our own!.... A baby that will be ours!...... Yes Bondita, Now you'll be a mother!.... And I, I'll be a father!..... I cabt tell you how happy I am, just on the thought of it!!!

He wrote the letter and kissed the diary. It smelled like... Like pure love!...

He kept it on the dressing table and went downstairs to sit with the family.

After a few hours, Vibhavari had returned back home with Somnath. She went to her room to freshen up and then came down.

Vibha sat down beside her Anirudh Dada and listened to everyone talk.
Bondita and Kaka were talking about Anirudh, pulling his leg.

"Kakasasurji!... You know what?... Everyone calls him "Khadoos Barrister" in the court." She told him, laughing.

"So what's wrong in that?... Dada is grumpy all the time! Even my friends used to fear him!"Batuk added and everyone laughed again.

"I really dont know what You ate, when you had Anirudh in your womb, Shubra!...He is so grumpy at times!" Binoy too laughed out loud and asked Shubra Maa.

"That's Great!....Continue!.... Continue making fun of me!... Huhh!" Anirudh said, puffing his cheeks and folding his arms. This was something, everyone had learnt from Bondita.

Vibha, who too was laughing a bit till now, poked his cheeks and said pulling them, "Oh my cute Dada!... How can someone ever call you Grumpy?... You are the cutest!...." She said lovingly.

"Only you love me here, Vibha!..." He  said with a pout and side hugged her slightly.

"You and your Little sister!.... Then there is no one in this world!" Kaka said and  everyone agreed being at awe. Their bond was such pure and sweet that it made evryone so happy!....

Vibha used to miss her elder brother a lot after her marriage, but Anirudh never let her be sad for long, he became the elder brother she needed!...He too found the younger sister he never had in her.

"Okay, let's have the dinner now!" maa announced and they all walked to the dining table.

After dinner, they all headed to their rooms, but Vibha took Bondita's reports and went to her Didi's room.

"Didi!... Your reports!..."she handed the file to her.

Bondita took it excitedly and looked up at her.

"So, what do you say Doctor Saahiba?"she asked.

"Umm... Dadaa!..."Vibha peeked into the room, where Anirudh was sitting on the bed, reading his novel.

"Yes?" He asked, keeping away the novel.

"I want a promotion!..."she said, forwarding her hands.

Anirudh looked down at her forwarded palms and then again looked at her face,"What Promotion?..."he asked. All this tine, Bondita stood there confused. She was checking the file, but there was nothing mentioned.

"Promotion to be a Kaki Ma!... I am bored of being the Choti Bahu now!.... I wan to be called Kaki Maa!..." She said excitedly, making Anirudh and Bondita look at each other and blush hard.

"If you dont grant me this, I ain't going from your room, Dada!... Then how will you romance with my Didi?...."she teased them so much!....

"Fine!...I promise!" Kept his hands on her palms. "Is it fine now?"  He asked.

"Absolutely!..." She smirked and went away laughing. Bondita closed the door, wishing her Good night.
She walked near Anirudh and gazed at him with a  blush. He too was staring at her, until they both bursted out laughing hard.

He pulled her on his lap and hugged her tightly, still laughing. They were really happy that day!...
