"Having a baby is the most wonderful thing in your life. As well as the hardest thing in your life."

Everyone was so happy that day! Rudhi had finally spoken her first words! And that too Maa and Baba at the same time.
They all blessed Rudhi so much and played with her for a log time, trying to make her speak some other words too.
Rudhi was really happy getting all the attention and love from her family.

"Anirudh, you were saying something?" Binoy Baba finally asked him.

"Yeah! Baba actually Som wants to take Vibhavari for a trip to Darjeeling for there thrid anniversary!" Anirudh told excitedly.
"So Baba, would you please allow?"

"Ofcourse! This is a great idea! They must go!" Shubra Maa said, walking to them.

"Indeed! Afterall it's there day! I'll just do the bookings!" Binoy added with a smile and went away, patting Anirudh's shoulder.

As both his parents went away, Anirudh too walked upto Somnath's room.

"May I come in Dr. Saahab?!" He asked from the entrance with his arms at the back. He really looked esteemed in every sense!

"Oh come on Dada! This is your room too!" Somnath said, getting up from his bed, keeping aside the file he was working upon.

"I talked to Baba! You both are going to Darjeeling!" Anirudh smirked at him.

"Dada, you did?!" Som gulped, shying.

"Ofcourse! I really want to become Kaka too!" He replied winking at his brother.

"Dadaa!!" Som whined, blushing harder and hugged his elder brother tightly.

"Come on! Enjoy yourselves, okay?!" Anirudh patted his back and left with a smile.

......

It was afternoon, everyone was resting in there respective rooms. Bondita was in her room with Rudhi. She was combing her baby's hair and tying them up in two little ponytails. Rudhi just loved this hairstyle a lot and looked nowhere less than a little Roshogulla in it.

"Your Baba has been working since hours, now!" Bondita told Rudhi.
"Let's go and disturb him!" She laughed and kissed Rudhi's cheek, getting up and walking to the study.

As she reached the study, Bondita let her daughter down on the floor and knocked the study door three times.

"May I come in Baba?!" Bondita said, in a cute high pitched voice.

"No you can't!" Anirudh replied from inside.
"I'm romancing with your Maa!"

"Oh God! Pati Babu! You're just too much! You can't tell all this to Puchki!" Bondita whined, walking inside the study, followed by a crawling Rudhi.

Rudhi quickly crawled upto his desk and Anirudh picked her up happily.

"Ofcourse I can!" Anirudh replied, raising Rudhi high in his arms as his baby laughed happily.

"Baa... Baaa!!!" Rudhi touched his face with her little fingers and he just brought her down, kissing her little lips lovingly.
Rudhi really enjoyed kissing her Baba like this and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I'm still here!" Bondita rolled her eyes at them and crossed her arms across her chest.

"We forgot!" Anirudh teased her with a smirk but Rudhi turned around to look at her Maa lovingly.

"Mmm... Maa!" She squeaked happily, extending her arms and Bondita quickly ran to her baby and held her close to herself.

"She loves me! Only you foget me!" Bondita said, kissing Rudhi's cheeks lovingly.

"I can never forget you Shona!" Anirudh held her wrist and pulled her into his own lap. She fell on him with her back rested against his chest.

He wrapped his arms around Bondita and Rudhi and kissed Bondita's cheek from behind. Bondita just tried to hide her blush and played with Rudhi.

"This seems perfect now!" Anirudh remarked, kissing her wife's cheek, yet again.

Rudhi was sitting on Bondita's lap, hugging her tightly, when she saw her Baba kissing her Maa. She hit him on his forearm, trying to call him.

"Baa.. Baa!!" She called.
"Baa.. Baa.. Baa... Baaa!" She called as she was enjoying this blabbering a lot.

Anirudh had looked at her on her first call itself, but she just kept on hitting his arm and calling him.

"Yes? Yess Mishtuu??" He asked letting go of Bondita's waist and touching his daughter's cheek while Bondita looked at her baby with love.

"Rudhi loomed at him and touched her cheek with her own index finger, forwarding her little face to him.

"Oh! Shall I kiss you too?!" He asked raising his eyebrows and laughing at his daughter's jealousy.

"No you won't!" Bondita told him pushing him back on the seat.

"Oh God! Atleast you don't act childish, Jaan!" Anirudh laughed.

"No! I'll act! She is always so jealous of me. Huhh!" She said, pouting her lips at Rudhi to which Rudhi just laughed loudly and started to play with her saree.

"I wonder what she'll do if she falls in love with a boy someday?!" Bondita rolled her eyes with a laugh. But Anirudh looked at her with a frown.

"No! She isn't falling in love with any boys!" He declared, cupping Rudhi's cheeks in his palms.

"Ofcourse, she will Pati Babu!" Bondita told him with a laugh, getting up from his lap and placing Rudhi on his writing table.
"She loves to play with boys!"

"When did she play with a boy?" Anirudh asked, looking up at Bondita.

"Remember? Last week I went to my friend's house with Rudhi?" Bondita remarked and he just nodded remembering the day.

"There Puchki was so happy playing with her son and his friends!" Bondita giggled, playing with Rudhi's arms.

"Whatever that be! My Mishti isn't befriending any random boys!" Anirudh said, holding Rudhi's head lovingly and kissing her forehead.

"Pati Babu! Don't be so possessive!" Bondita giggled again.

"Why shouldn't I?" He asked, with an innocent frown.
"I'm worried for my princess! I can't let her befriend any random boy and then break her heart!" He said, looking at Rudhi sadly.
"I also don't want her to be involved in a wrong relationship like Saudamini and I did!"

Bondita looked at him for a moment, while his gaze didn't leave Rudhi. This fun conversation had taken a serious turn and she did want him to be guilty yet again!

"Pati Babu!" Bo dita cupped his face in her palms and made him look at her, while Rudhi was busy playing with a random pen on the table.

"Do you trust yourself and me?" She asked him.

"I do trust you the most, Bondita!" He said, holding her hands while his eyes moistened unknowingly.

"Then have a little faith on our upbringing too! She'll grow up to as wise as her Baba for, sure!" Bondita told him softly, her eyes showing immense love and affection.

"For relationships, she should be like you! You're way better than me in handling relations, Jaan!" Anirudh said with a  soft chuckle and stoop up, holding her hands in his.

Anirudh looked deep into her eyes and moved a little forward, touching her cheeks and bringing her face near his.
He softly kissed her forehead and let his lips linger there for a bit longer.

"I love you, Pati Babu!" Bondita murmured with her eyes closed, as she tried to take in all his love from his gentle touch.

"I love you more than you can ever imagine, My Jaan!" He said, looking at her eyes with utmost love.

"Mm... Maaa! Mm...Maaa!" They heard Rudhi call and turned to look down at their princess.

But as soon as their eyes fell on her, they gasped fearfully.

"Puchki!" Bondita yelled.

Rudhi had opened Anirudh's ink pen and was playing with it carelessly. The ink had splashed all over her clothes and body. The papers kept beside her were stained too and she was holding the pen near her face, which was already stained with the ink.

"Bad girl, Mishti!" Anirudh scolded her, softly and quickly snatched the pen from her and threw it away on the floor. It was now empty as all the ink was already used up by Rudhi.

Bondita instantly picked her daughter up in her arms and tried to clean her face with her hands.
Her palm turned blue instantly and she just hissed in irritation. Anirudh had pulled out his handkerchief and wiped Rudhi's face using it.

His hands had also turned blue by then and Rudhi all the time looked at them with shock, laughing softly.

"Oh God this girl!" Anirudh murmured under his breath and took her in his own arms, running to the washroom.
Bondita followed him, trying to keep Rudhi's hands away from her mouth.

"She has it in her mouth too, I guess!" Anirudh remarked worriedly as he placed Rudhi on the basin table and Bondita got a large bowl filled with water.

"What?!" Bondita almost screamed fearfully and tried to have a look into Rudhi's mouth.
"What did you do, Rudhi?!" She murmured sadly, but was relieved to find just a little of the ink on Rudhi's lips.

"No, Pati Babu! She didn't swallow it I guess!" Bondita told him as he was busy cleaning Rudhi's hands with the water.

Rudhi all the time just stared at her Maa and Baba fearfully, as they looked serious and tensed.

"Thank God!" Anirudh murmured with a sigh. "But these stains won't go easily!"

"Yes, they won't I guess!" Bondita replied and looked at her babies face sadly, with a mild little anger.

Rudhi looked at her Maa and pouted her lips as Bondita was staring down at  her with an upset look.

"Making such lovely faces, so that no one scolds her!" Bondita rolled her eyes, trying hard to smile at her daughter.

"No kne will scold her Bondita! But everyone will scold me for sure!" Anirudh told as he took some water in his hand and  rubbed Rudhi's face gently.

The stains had lightened, but did not disappear. They were still clearly visible enough to manage a great scolding for Bondita and Anirudh.

After a whole thirty minutes, they walked out of the washroom, wrapping Rudhi in a towel.
Bondita quickly dressed her daughter, while Anirudh went away to get his study cleaned.

But there was already something else waiting for him in the study.
Will this thing bring new changes or new members into the story?!....
