Ch-30, How Do Things Change?
Parenthood changes a lot in your life. You get a lot, but you loose a lot too. But at the end, you just learn a lot!❤️
It was just another day, as Anirudh and Bondita returned from the court. They had to attend a perty that day.
It had been months that they hadn't got the chance to talk or walk around, holding hands. Anirudh had already told Maa to take care of Rudhi for that evening and that Bondita and he would come late by the night time.
Bondita, too was looking forward to spend some time with her Pati Babu. He had been stressed since a few days. Though, after seeing Rudhi, Anirudh's stress would vanish away, but still Bondita could sense some stress in his mind. She just wanted to talk it out with him. She wanted to make him comfortable about whatever he was feeling.
Bondita didn't know much about the party. She never payed any attention to he took her, because she always knew, that with him any place in this world would be no less than her home. He was her home, afterall, her Sansaar! Home wasn't a building for her, it was his heart, made of just love and nothing else.
As they entered their room, Anirudh took off his robe and hers too. He went to keep in the cupboard, while Bondita just kept away her bag and his briefcase. As Anirudh went to freshen up, she just took out a beautiful saree. She wanted to look the best for him, as always.
As Bondita took out the saree and walked to the mirror, she suddenly realised that she hadn't paid any attention to herself. Her body, had not been cared and pampered and her face looked dull. She felt beautiful, but she knew that she had just stopped taking care of herself.
She looked down at her hands and relised that she just didn't change her bangles in months. Earlier, she used to match her bangles to her saree, every single day. But now, she just wore the gold Kangan and the Shakha Pola.
She also just didn't paint her fingers with the Alta, she loved the most!
Her eyes were looking all dull and sleep deprived. She felt a bit sad, just like any other girl, she too had always wanted to look her best and has always looked so.
As she was busy staring at herself in the mirror, Anirudh came out of the washroom, wrapping just a towel around his waist. He just finger brushed his wet hair and looked at Bondita. She was busy admiring herself and didn't notice him.
He slowly walked to her and wrapping his arms around her waist, hugged her lightly from behind.
"You look so beautiful, Jaan!" He whispered in her ear, as always. But this time it didn't make bondita anywhere happy.
She looked up at his reflection with a frown and wriggling in his arms, freed herself from his embrace. Anirudh just looked at her with confusion.
"Don't lie, Pati Babu!" She said.
"Why would I lie to you, Shona?" He asked, bringing his hands to hold her shoulders gently.
"I know, I don't look beautiful like before!" She said, trying hard not to cry.
"And who told you this?" He asked, turning her around to look at him in the eyes.
"No one! I can see it, Pati Babu!" She said, wiping a lone tear that escaped her eye.
Anirudh cupped her face and wiping her cheeks with his thumbs, he said, "You're Mad! You're absolutely mad, Bondita!"
Bondita looked at him with a start, as he had never said anything to her like this.
"Why?" She asked, frowning.
"Because, you should never see yourself with your own eyes!" He said and turned her around to look at mirror again.
"Look at yourself from my eyes, Jaan. And you'll fall in love again!" He said as he held her shoulders lovingly from the behind.
He brought his hands to her lips and curved them into a smile.
"This smile, this kills me everytime!" He said and Bondita smiled instinctively.
"These beautiful eyes, that have the power to kill this poor Anirudh Roy Chowdhary, all the time!" He said as she looked up at his reflection.
"Your hair is just so beautiful, Shona!" He said as he inhaled her fragrance through her hair and she just closed her eyes feeling his breath.
"I can't describe anymore, Jaan! Why should I? When I know that my wife is the most beautiful, I don't find a single reason to prove this to someone else. Not even you!" He said, making Bondita smile with little tears brimming in her eyes.
She could never get tired of listening to her Pati Babu's compliments. She turned around and hugged him tightly, hiding her tears in his embrace. He wrapped her arms around her and hugged her lovingly.
That was when Bondita realised that he didn't have his shirt on and her cheek touched his bare chest. She parted slowly, looking down with a blush.
"Hey, don't blush so much! If you'll look this pretty, I'm sure I will cancel all the plans to go out!" He said near her ear, in a low husky whisper, making her blush even more.
She covered her face with her palms and murmured "Ishh, Pati Babu!"
Anirudh smirked a bit and gently pulled her closer to him. Her hands hit his bare chest and she held him softly. Her fingers played on his chest, while she looked down shyly.
Anirudh just held her hand on his chest and guided it to his heart.
"Can you feel that?" He whispered as Bondita softly gasped, feeling his heart beat so erratically.
"Don't make it beat so fast, Bondita! I'll die!" He said with a chuckle and Bondita just frowned angrily. She pushed him away and looked away, folding her arms and pouting her lips.
"Don't talk to me, now!" She said and Anirudh smiled, shaking his head lovingly at her actions.
"Fine, I'm sorry!" He said moving close to her and holding her hands, interlinking their fingers.
"You always do this! First you use this bad word and then apologise! Go, I ain't talking to you, Rudhi's Baba!" She said and Anirudh just pulled her even more closer.
"From Pati Babu to Rudhi's Baba! Great promotion, Mrs. Roy Chowdhary!" He smirked, frowning his eyebrows playfully at her.
Anirudh slowly moved closer to her, trying to capture her lips, but Bondita pushed him away.
"Enough! I'll freshen up quickly, now!" She said faking her anger to hide the nervousness and ran to the washroom, while Anirudh just shook his head, laughing.

As Bondita and Anirudh were leaving, Koyeli came running to them.
"Bahurani Ji, Rudhaanshi is crying! Badi Malkin has called you." She said, panting a bit.
Bondita just looked at Anirudh and softly pressed his hand before running to her daughter. Anirudh too followed her to Maa's room.
"What happened, Maa?" She asked worriedly, taking Rudhi in her arms.
"I don't know, Beta. She just started crying inconsolably. I tried to feed her the food, but she didn't eat and just continued to cry. I think, she needed you!" Maa told suggestively as she patted Rudhi's back in Bondita's arms.
Anirudh patted Rudhi's head lovingly , worried for his princess, who was wailing in her mother's arms.
"Bondita, let me try!" He said, as Rudhi didn't stop even after a while.
Bondita just handed her to him and picked up the rattle to hand it to Rudhi.
"What happened, Mishti?!" He asked, using his hand to wipe her tears and the snot beneath her nose.
As Anirudh caled her, she looked at him for a moment. Mishti was always her favourite name and it always sounded so good from her favourite person.
Anirudh saw it and walked her out of the room, while Bondita followed them worriedly.
"Enough, Mishti!" He said as he patted her back lovingly, as her head rested on his shoulder and her little arm, half around his neck.
Anirudh just kept talking to Rudhi softly, rocking his daughter in his arms.
"You're a good girl, right Mishti?" He asked and kissed her cheek, wiping off the tears for one last time. He just hated the tears on her soft white cheeks. Rudhi had stopped crying and was breathing a bit deeply now. Her eyes fell sleepy after all the crying as she bent down to rest her head on her Baba's shoulder. Anirudh just patted her head and back lovingly, softly kissing her head.
He turned around, smiling at Bondita and she too sighed in relief.
"You're everyone's favourite, indeed!" She said as Rudhi just played with his shirt buttons. Anirudh just grinned and gestured Koyeli to take Rudhi from his arms.
But as soon as Koyeli held her, Rudhi started crying again. Anirudh instantly pulled her back into his embrace and hugged her tightly.
"What happened, Shana bacha?" He asked softly rocking her in his arms as he felt her sleep again.
He just looked at Bondita and whispered with a smirk, "Why do I see another Bondita in her?"
Bondita just shook her head giggling and gestured Koyeli to leave.
"Let me make her sleep first, them we'll leave!" Anirudh said as he continued to rock Rudhi lovingly and again started roaming in the house.
Bondita just went and sat on the sofa, waiting for him and talking to Batuk.
They were discussing something about Batuk's new friend, who was his age and they had started like each other.
Bondita just giggled loudly a bit in between their talks, making Anirudh glare at them.
"Will you both shut up?" He rolled his eyes at them and continued to pat his daughter lovingly.
"Dada has just suddenly become a father!" Batuk said thoughtfully, looking at Anirudh.
"What on earth do you mean by suddenly? It took nine long months, Batuk!" Bondita said with her eyes wide.
"Arey! Not that way, Boudi!" He said, hitting her head softly.
"I mean, just a few months back he was a carefree man, full of adventure and... Romance ofcourse!" He said the kast words rolling his eyes at her while she glared at him with a blush.
"But suddenly, Dada has become so much responsible! I mean, it seems like someone just pushed a button and changed him all over into a new person!" Batuk said and this mde Bondita to look at Anirudh and think about it.
That's all for this part. Hope you all liked it! Please don't forget to vote and comment!!!
