Waiting is a sign of ture  love and patience.
Anyone can say I love you, but not everyone can wait and prove it's true. ❤️

At the lunch table, as everyone chatted and ate happily, Bondita spoke up.

"I have something to tell you all!" She said and glanced at Anirudh while he just smiled assuring her.

"What's it, beta?" Trilochan Kaka asked her.

"Kaka sasurji, as you all know that I have to leave with Maa Baba, I have made a small decision." She said confidently yet respectfully.

She turned to her parents and said softly, "Maa Baba, I'll go with you, but only for a few months. I won't stay for the whole nine months with you. I know it's not the custom, but I want to. I want to stay with both my families and so I want to divide this time. I will stay with you both for the half of my pregnancy and then I'll return back." She said.

This was the idea he had given her. This way she could stay with both her families and get their love. Though he wanted her to stay with him forever and not let go of her even for a second, he didnt want to tie her to himself.

His love was always about her! About her happiness, her freedom and her wishes.
He smiled at how confidently she spoke and gave her decision.

Everyone looked at each other for a while, which made her a bit worried but she decided to wait.
Suddenly her Baba stood up, and walked to her. He cupped her face and and said, "I'm proud of you, Bondita!.... I am so proud of you!" He said. And kissed her forehead.

"Not just you," Binoy interrupted, "We all are so proud of her and even glad to have her as our Bahu!"

He said and everyone agreed. They all agreed to her wish and assured her to fulfill it.

Bondita sat back down and glanced at Anirudh for a moment. He was smiling at her, but she so well know that deep down he was sad about being away from her.

After the lunch, as Bondita was walking to the kitchen, Batuk and Som came to her.

"Boudi!" Thy said in unison. "We'll miss you so much. Please come back soon!"

Bondita was sad too, but she smiled and nodded.

"Ofcourse Dada! I'll come back soon! And Batuk , I can't live without teasing you, so I'll have to return quickly!" She said and they both hugged her tightly. Afterall, she was their beloved sister.

As Bondita returned back to her room after chatting with Somnath and Batuk, Anirudh was already there, waiting for her to cone soon. He had taken leave from thr court until she was here. He indeed wanted to spend all his time with her.

Bondita entered and closed the door behind her. Anirudh looked up at her from his book, as he sat up straight on the bed.

"You're here!" He said and she walked to the bed, settling beside him.

She held his hands softly and spoke, "Thankyou for always guiding me, Pati Babu!....and thankyou for being the solution to my every problem!"

He smiled and touched her cheek gently.

"So, you'll leave me alone here, now." He said sadly and wrapped his arm around her. She rested her head on his shoulder and held onto his free hand.

"I'll miss you, Pati Babu!" She said.

"Don't lie, Madam!" He smirked.
"I know, you aren't gonna miss me. Afterall, you'll get your parents' love after so long!.... And I don't even want you to miss me." He said, teasing her. But still there was love in this statement.

"Yes, I won't!" She rolled her eyes at him.

"Really?" He smirked at her and pulled her closer, suddenly being all seductive.
"We'll see for that!" He said and kissed her cheek making her blush.

"Pati Babu I'll really miss you!.... Its a matter of 4 long months!" She said, resting her head on his shoulder while he wrapped his arm around her.

"And moreover, when you'll see me again, I'll be already having a baby bump!" She said thoughtfully, pouting her lips.

He looked at her and pecked her little pout for a moment. He touched her cheek and said, "That means, you'll look so cute!"

She giggled and he just smiled looking at her with all his love. He wanted to capture her in his eyes for these months. Her laughter, her smile, her cutest antics and just everything about her.

"I dont wanna let you go from my arms though, but I'll be happy to see you back in your Baba's arms!" He said and made her fall for him, yet again...

She hugged gim ever so tightly.

"Our child will have the best dad!... I know it for sure." She said, still being in his hug.

"The best Mom too!" He replied.

He lied down on the bed and pulled her in his arms. He wanted to spend as much time with her as he could and it wasn't any different for her.

It was evening when Bondita was busy arranging the books in his study while he was out for some work. She had to pack a few books for herself too. She had already found a pile of books about Pregnancy and women's health on his table. He had kept it for her.

She was so happy seeing them and excited to read too. But she wanted some fantasy novels too. Her Kakasasurji had already asked her to read the Ramayana. So in total, she had a lot of stuff to read which made her really happy.

As Anirudh returned, he came to study to keep his briefcase and saw her already there. He slowly closed the study door and latched it behind him.

"Pati Babu, you came?" She asked arranging the books, even without looking at him.

"How do you know?" He gawked at her.

"Magic!" She whispered, winking at him.

"Ouuuchh!.... You killed me!" He said, keeping his hand on his heart and acting ever so dramatically.

She just shook her hand and took his briefcase, walking to him.

"I got something for you!" He said.

"What's it?!" She asked excitedly, just like a little girl.

He went and brought his briefcase and pulled out a paper bag.

"My Love!" He said and took out a whole bunch of bangles.

Bondita's eyes gleaned in excitement.

"Bangles?!" She exclaimed excitedly and he smiled at her.

"Now you'll remember me whenever you hear them clink, Bondita. " he said and handed them to her.

They were many, of all possible colours!

"I love them!" She exclaimed and  hugged him tightly.

"And I love you!" He replied and reciprocated her hug so lovingly. Their cheeks pressed against each other and that hug was nothing but the cutest!

They sat there, talking for a while and then he just lied down, keeping his head on her lap.

He hadn't freshened up yet, but still he felt the freshest!... He had his Bondita by his side, afterall.

Bondita softly finger brushed his hair and admired him. She had to leave the next day and so it was making her overwhelmed with emotions.

Finally it was the day when she was leaving. Anirudh had been trying to spend most of his time with her since the past few days. And that day, he tried really hard to maintain his smile, just to keep her happy and hide his tears.

Bondita was in her room, doing the last minute packing while Anirudh was reminding her everything to be kept and checked.

"Jewellery?" He asked handing her a towel.

"Kept" she replied putting the towel in the suitcase.

"Medicines?!" He asked.

"A hundredth time, Pati Babu!... Kept !" She said rolling her eyes at his same question. He had just been worried about her medicines.

"Do you need your oils?... Like, for massage and hair, whatever?" He asked, clearly ignoring her previous irritated look.

"Pati Babu, I am going to Calcutta!.... And Maa Baba don't live in a jungle!... I'll get everything there." She said smiling at his cuteness.

"And even if you don't, I don't have a problem, coming to you and give you whatever you need." He said the last words so seductively, coming closer to her that it made her look down with a profuse blush.

"Isshh! Pati Babu, you're just...!" She said and pushed him away softly.

"What?... Handsome?" He asked smirking at her and trying to look into her lowered eyes.

"Pati Babu!..." She whined, laughing and covered her face with her palms.

He removed her palms and kissed them both, softly.

"Bahu!" Suddenly Maa walked in and they both pushed away from each other quickly.

Maa smiled at them suggestively and handed Bondita a metal box.

"These! Take your Laddoos with you, beta!" She said.
"Your mother too must have made them, but I want you to eat these too!" She smiled at her and left after Bondita thanked her.

Anirudh threw himself on the bed, his feet still on the ground. He was lying on his side, propped up on his elbow.

"When will you come back, Jaan?" He asked suddenly.

"Just in four months!" She replied casually, keeping the Laddoo box in her suitcase.

"This room would be so empty!... This home too. And my Office too!" He said sadly. "And your Pati Babu would be all alone, here."

She looked up at his eyes and sat down beside him, sighing.

"I would be lonely too, without you!" She said as he sat up.

"But, you please take care of yourself and keep calling me on the telephone!" She said and hugged him tightly, keeping her head just on his heart, listening to its beats.

"You too, take care of yourself and my Little Angel!" He said and kissed her head lovingly. He kept his hand on her stomach and caressed it for a while.

"Daddy will miss you!" He said softly and Bondita just couldn't stop smiling.
