When Speed got of the train, he went to his secret lab to work on Flares improvements.

Speed- Huh, this might actually work!

Speed created the web bombs Flare created and named them the "Web blossoms" as a nod to Flare's affinity with plants and tested it out with the dummies. They worked as intended and instead of only carrying two at a time, he could carry an extra one.

Speed- Nice! But I need to make the backup supplies, just in case.

Speed had to spend the rest of the night, so he ordered some meat lovers pizza. But before sleeping, he used his medical robot to safely take out the bullet. The next day, he got a text from Crystal.

Crystal- /Where are you?/

Speed- /I was just at work and had to spend the night here/

Crystal- /Well come over here, now! The rest of the Eeveelutions wanted to meet you/

Speed- /Fine, I'll be there in a hour./

Speed put all of his equipment in his extra backpack he had in the lab and grabbed the pizza he didn't finish the day before. He took the train to the tree house and put the code to open the door.

Silvia- Where were you last night?

Speed- Working.

Silvia- Oooh... Well, let me introduce you to the Eeveelutions. The brooding Umbreon over there is named Black. The Glaceon and Leafeon talking there are named Lazuli and Leaf, respectively.

Speed noticed that Lazuli and Black were the same Eeveelutions that were kidnapped yesterday.

Speed- Okay, cool.

Speed sensed that someone was going to throw something at him. He looked to the left to see a ball coming towards him and he caught it.

Leaf- See? I told you that he doesn't need to look to grab it

Lazuli- How?...

Speed sighs and tries to go to his room but Black stops him.

Black- I know you catching the ball wasn't just luck. I will figure out your secret Jolteon.

Speed- I sincerely doubt that.

Speed then entered his room and hid his extra backpack in his closet. He then put his drawings back in the other backpack and put it below his bed. He grabbed some paper and started sketching a new gadget. It was a dart launcher that made enemies more sleepy, so that their guard was down at couldn't hit as hard. It also made them pay less attention if Speed was sneaking around. He got a ranger alert, locked the door and put on his suit. He jumped out of his window and started swinging below the trees. The place marked was one of the Rangers Stations. Speed quickly reached it and entered through the door. He saw some balloons and a lot of Pokémon standing by the door.

The rangers- Happy 3rd sign-up day Joltik-Mon!

Speed was really shocked. Then he began to sob a little bit.

Speed- You guys remembered... Thank you so much, I feel honored.

Ranger Officer 1- Ah, don't worry, you deserve it.

Speed- Thank you, what was your name again officer?

Ranger Officer 1- Bolt Davis. My son is a really big fan.

Speed- Awww, say to him that he is awesome for me okay? Oh, and give him my business card.

Bolt- Sure.

Chief Ranger- Here, we made you a new suit. We don't know what kind of specs you prefer, so you gotta make that yourself, but we tried our best.

Speed- Thank you Chief Yuri, I'll test it when I get home. But I need to run a bit of patrol now, to burn off some pizza I ate yesterday.

Yuri- Okay then, report to us if you find anything ok?

Speed- Okay, gotta run!

Speed zipped away and he got a memory from when he first tried swinging through the city. It was a snowy day, Speed had his homemade costume on and was really nervous. He thought of all the deaths that could follow, but, it was just a simple leap of faith. Speed jumped of the roof and web swinged for the very first time. The emotions Speed felt were positive. The prototypes were heavy, but any type of progress is positive. The webs didn't retract back, so making these were costly. Speed got so distracted by the laws of physics even allowing this that he went through a billboard.

Speed- Good thing I now pay way more attention when swinging.

He swang and swang and didn't see anything wrong, it looked okay.

Speed- Phew! I need to get some rest.

Speed went back in his room through the window and placed both suits in the backpack. Speed unlocked the door and saw Black looking at his phone in front of his room.

Speed- Uh, need something?

Black- Yeah, uh, how do you use the microwave?

Speed- Oh, you just say how long you want the thing to heat up.

Black- Thanks...

Speed goes back into his room and opens his drawing backpack to make sure that he has everything now. He finishes his cold pizza and goes to the living room. He sits on a recliner and his body aches because he forgot to stretch.

Speed- (Today I took it easy, it felt good.)
