"Lookie here. Another new school. Another football games." Maria snickered at her child's grouchy expression. "No, driving away."

"My hoof still on the gas. One turn away to go back home." Moxxie grumble as he was driving. Got to get some 'experience' in. Never know if you might go to another ring. Better have one on hand. Could always just make a fake one.

Should have made a fake Doctor note for all future school games.

Moxxie had to go to this baseball game. For a grade of all things in gym. His proof is the wristband. He only found out about this yesterday so he got to go. They got him good. Could miss. Maria decided to come with him to the baseball game.

Guess it'll be bearable.

"So, who against your school."

"No, clue." Didn't pay attention that closely. Just know it'll be two town over at the rival field

Arrive at the destination and park the truck. Everyone around with other families, friends and students going to the baseball field. You can clearly see some fights happening in the background. But not here for that. Got their crummy wristband and see about finding seats in the bleachers.

"Look your school against the Roosters." Points at a few imps with a rooster.

"I think that the group I saw last year." Did look oddly familiar.

"Hey I'll be right back. I'll go get us some drinks and a snack." Maria walks off to one of the food stands.

The glasses wearing mix match eye Imp sighs. Glance out at the baseball field and hear some cheering happening. Or cursing. Just for half and they can leave. That shouldn't be bad.

"Well, well who do my eyes see?"

Did someone just throw a pitchfork in the field? Kind of impressive aim wise to stab the baseball mid throw.

"Hey! I'm talking to you!"

Actually, going to give them a strike? No, wait called them out.

"Hocus Pocus eyes!"

Glance to now see a taller imp with raven hair in small ponytail. Horn black, white. Sallie grinned big and ran towards her. Sees a Rooster t-shirt and ripped knee length jean shorts. Pair of boots. He also notices the black lipstick and make up work around the eyes when she was closer. "Scar?"

"Wow! I kind of hope your confused who I was to mess with you longer." Spun and ruffle their own hair. "What you think?"

"You look great."

Stare then let out a laugh. Finally, stop when she looks back at them.

Moxxie face is still unreadable.

"Your being serious?"

"Why would I lie about that?"

"Keep throwing out compliments I'm going to enjoy this."

"Pass." Glance at her shirt. "A rooster huh."

"That's right. My siblings and I go to that dump of a school. I just started." Sallie grinned and saw his hoodie. "I see your scarf underneath the hoodie."

"I like it. It stays."

"I get it. I get it. Just don't understand how you're not sweating under that." Hands up in surrender. "So, a rat huh?"

"I think I considered myself an enemy to the rats."

"Really now?'

"Since I was four years old."

"Say what?"

"Moxxie who your friend?" Maria arrived with their drinks and her tail holding some popcorn.

"This is Scar. Not my friend."

"Right to my bleeding heart after you help me with my hair." Hand to her chest. Look at Maria. "I'm Sallie May. Hi, Foxxie Mom."

Moxxie eyes widened a little at what she just called him.

"If you were anyone else and older. I would rip your tongue out for calling my child Foxxie." Maria said with a serious tone, then she smiled, putting the popcorn in front of them. "Popcorn?"

"I like her." Sallie grinned at Moxxie and look back at Maria. "Okay I'm growing my hair long like yours."

"Get ready to wipe some people's faces and brush it a lot. I'm going to actually cut it eventually."

"I'm ready for all that. Hmm I can see you with a pixie cut."

"Not going that short but thanks."

"Stop trying to befriend my Madre to hang by us."

"Moxxie I'm hurt. Do you think I would dare to such a thing to the woman who brought you to these lands? Go sit in the stands, to be sitting with my school rivals."

"Yes." Twitch while their Madre snorts and watches them both. Bet she gets a kicker out of this.

"You darn right I am. Mine I join you?"

"What about your family?"

"I see them every day on the farm. They'll live."

"Friends?"

"Being idiots or playing on the field right now."

"If I pay you not to be by us?"

"No guarantees it'll last long along with no money back."

Alright Moxxie will admit. He may have tolerated Sallie as they watched the game together. It made the game go by faster. Just watch Sallie yelling at her team for messing up or cheers.

"Hey Madre were getting some refills. Want any?"

"I'm good."

"Be back!"

Moxxie and Sallie leave their spots to get the drinks.

"I'm telling you if I was the hitter right now after those three throws. Would have thrown it to their face."

"Why not their hands?"

"Hmm I like you're thinking. Smash them!"

Moxxie covered his hands.

"Hey you brought it up."

"I have a right to say nothing."

"Well as your lawyer I agreed to those terms."

"If you were my lawyer, you would have just killed the other lawyer and whoever I'm against."

"They'll never find the bodies and you passed. Hurray!'

"I don't think that how it works. Maybe here but not elsewhere."

"Then will make sure our case stays in Wrath. I get a good chunk. It's a win. Win."

"Great I'll have to pay you or get rid of you if you try to sell me out."

"Ha! Like to see that happen Foxxie."

"Sallie there you are! Pa, Ma wonder where you were."

"Just watching the game with my buddy here. This is the one who helped me with my hair."

"Didn't you say their scream destroy the shop?"

Moxxie sent a look at Sallie. Her hand was out in surrender. "What? They don't believe me. Even the shop owner being called out."

"Wait a second. Oh! I know you!"

Moxxie stumble back at the female close their face. Wait. He recognizes this one.

"You're the little mice who gave me and my bro the last bag of cookies." She grinned at them and brought her hand out. "I'm Millie."

"Aka Mildred. Aka my older sister by year. Aka the Wrathful- "

"Can it Sal or you not using my eye pallet tomorrow."

"You're just jealous I'm able to blend the colors well!"

Maybe if they walk away slowly. Can get out this talk to get the refills. Then back to sitting down to watch the game. Great must have lost it to actually stay to watch the rest of the game.

"Where do you think you're going Foxxie?"

"Away."

"Ha!" Sallie nudged Millie. "My second time with them and he a riot."

"I never met this girl in my life."

Sallie gasped in dramatic hurt. Yet, a look in their eyes showed a bit of happiness.

Millie giggles a bit. Look back at them. "So, you help them out."

"The hair thing? Just gave them opinions." A small shrug.

"Well, thanks. I mean it." She let loose a smile at them. "Along with the cookies as well. Your quite sweetheart."

Tense a bit. Sweetheart? Sure, have been called many things, in a negative way from bullying or whispered from other kid's parents. Not going to lie he hears what many say about him. How he doesn't like to fight. Just very 'unwrathian'. Of, course Madre would call that shit out since he is Wrathian in many ways. Along with those he works along as well.

But sweetheart feels a little much.

"Right! Hahah! I remember little bro kept complaining about some boy just being sweet, trying to get your attention." Sallie leans against Moxxie. "Were you trying to win my sis heart?"

"Sallie!"

"No. Her brother wanted cookies. I gave it to them. He said something. She said something. Then I just left." That was basically it. Nothing to get out of it.

"I would call bullshit but the honesty, along with that look on your face says it all."

"Sal I'm about to slam your face in that dirt if you don't shut it."

"Oh, can it! You're already with someone so don't worry about messing with you both. By the way your boy sucks out there right now."

"Don't I know it? Going to be here him complaining for a while."

"Great. Just what I want to hear. Excuse me while I refill my drink." Sallie walks off.

"I'm sorry about my sibling." Millie looked at Moxxie. "She can be a lot. A pain in the ass but a lot."

Moxxie shrugged. "I deal with pain in the asses at school. Nothing new."

"Also, um thanks."

Just gave her a confused look. "For the cookies? You already said that."

"Not that. Just well helping them out with hair. Along with calling them her."

Stare and shrug.

"That it?" Blink not expecting that as a response. Then hears a sigh.

"I got nothing to say since she and I are technically strangers. Is she happy?"

"Yeah?"

"Is she taking her time to think it over?"

"Yes? Along with talking with us. My folks are accepting but still have ways to learn. The little siblings a little longer but they just think that still their sibling."

"No, issues at school?"

"Get an asshole here and there. Usually I get to them first, or she will."

"Then all right."

"You really are odd one." She stares at them for a long time with a grin. "We should hang out!"

What?!

"Millie what the fuck go back over there!"

"I'm sitting over here!"

"This is bullshit! Foxxie mom help me out here!"

"I'm staying out this." Maria just looked at Moxxie in amusement with their head down. While the two siblings on his other side argued with the other. "So, made some friends?"

"Have the rats won yet." Just wants to sink down, and hide. All ready feel many eyes looking at him. Has an idea of what school is going to be like with questions why they are with them.

"My feral child." Maria pats Moxxie back in a way she feels 'sad' for him. Yet, she did keep an eye on these two. So, far seem not too bad.

It was a bit nice to see her child interact with others like this. Even if he being a grouchy about it. But this was not a bad sight.

"Your boy going to be bitching why you're over here with us." Sallie huffed with her arms crossed.

"Like I care. If he asked, I was just keeping my eye on you."

"How dare you throw me under the bus?"

"Its kind a true."

"Foxxie you're supposed to be in my side!"

"Not happening."

The game was finally over! The rats won the game! Only won because a literal rat stole a baseball from the other team.

It was a funny sight as the roosters try to capture the rat.

"Is this even allowed?"

"I guess it is now."

"Yall were losing anyway."

"Ouch! Those are fighting words."

"All right ladies that's enough." Maria chuckles as she watches the three. All four of them were walking to the parking lot. She doesn't think the other two are aware. Pat her truck. "You better go find your folks."

"Can already hear them get at us for not being with them."

"They'll live. They see us 24/7." Sallie nudge Moxxie. "Good seeing yeah Foxxie."

"You were bearable this time."

"I so want to strangle you but I don't want lose my hearing."

"So, you did see him go feral." Maria chuckles as she gets in the driver's seat.

"Feral?" Millie blinked and looked at him. He doesn't look feral at all. Sallie description as well didn't fit. She still couldn't believe it either and wondered if she was just out of it.

Maria chuckles and sees the looks. "Believe me. He can be a vicious one."

That was almost hard to believe. Even for Sallie and she saw it. But that chocolate helped that day.

"Bye Moxxie!" Millie suddenly hugged him.

SCREECH!

Cars all around glass shattered beside Maria. Only because it was magic proof. Moxxie snarls, hisses at the two gapping siblings. Then springs out ready to lung at them.

Maria tail grab Moxxie to pull him inside quickly. Along with pulling a chocolate bar to slam into face. "Bye girls! It was great seeing you! Run before someone tries to blame you!"

The truck speeds away fast!

"We better run!"

"Agreed!"

The two running, ducking as anyone who has a truck started to curse out seeing the sights of their car's windows.

"Agreed. Hey Sis."

"Yeah?"

"He was very sweet."

"Yeah, yeah now run flat ass!"

"Just for that I'm taking my top back!"
