Nova 24ㄖ The Time to Think the Tasks

The afternoon sun may end the classes for Yohio, Vanessa and the rest of the students at the University but it is only the start of punishment for the two persons that caught bad luck at Miss Kiyomi's yard that day.

While walking out of the school gate, Yohio looked back at the left wing of the school. Vanessa on the other hand, noticed it and halted from walking.

"Is there any problems, Yohio?" She asked, looking at his face. "Have you forgotten something in the classroom?"

He retreated his head and looked down the path, holding both straps of his bag, sighing.

"I am just wandering... Is Yuu will be alright there?"

While the wind was brushing away the fallen leaves and gliding between the two, Vanessa said, "I think he will be fine. Yuu is a very strong friend of ours and I know for sure he can pass the punishment for this afternoon."

He looked at Vanessa with content and said, "I hope you're right at it Vanessa. I hope you're right..."

"Shall we go now?" Vanessa asked, Yohio nodded.

The two of them walked at the cobbled path between the belts of trees and the mild gust of the wind, leaving Yuu at the school believing that he was tough enough to survive the day.

While his mother was preparing the dinner with Mayu at the kitchen, Yohio went down the stairs holding a brown stiff box with his name printed at the receiver's side.

"Mum, where is this box came from?" He said, stopping by just at the edge of the wooden rectangular table.

His mother looked at him while wiping her hands at the towel.

"Oh, that box darling? It just came this morning just hours after you and your siblings left here..."

'Maybe this is the thing Yuu was talking about.. The Vocaloid package...' He thought to himself while inspecting the corners of the plain parcel.

His mother went to the dishwasher area and picked up the plates, placing them at the table. "...Since it was named to you, I just accepted it and put it at your room."

Mayu then looked at Yohio while holding a casserole of stew. "I wish you would like to help your sibling here serving dinner and not just standing there like an investigator asking things and stuff that won't make your stomach full."

Her mother gets the stew from Mayu and placed it at the center table.

"Mayu, watch your words to your brother Yohio. He is just asking about the package. Don't be upset for this little things."

Mayu pouted. Irritatedly looked at Yohio then said in a low voice, "Yes Mum.. I'll call father and the twins. Excuse me."

Mayu put down her kitchen mittens and walked out of the kitchen passing his brother.

Mayu went at the basement of the house to call his father for dinner.

Walking down, she could hear faint sounds of pounding metal. After a flight down, she stopped at the door and knocked.

"Father, dinner is ready."

With some metal clinking at the background, her father replied, "Yes, honey. Tell your mum that I'll coming there. I'm just finishing these metal braces for the roof."

"Okay Dad, I'll tell mum." Mayu said, directing her sight up the stairs.

When she gone up and back at the living area, she carefully looked around with the eyes of an eagle. "Where does those little kids hiding this time? Hmmm.."

"Mum," Mayu called from the living area, looking to her mother from the kitchen.

"Yes, Mayu my dear?" Anna said, walking out to the backdoor of the kitchen.

"Have you seen Len and Rin? It so quiet at the house and I can't find them?"

By the time he heard the question, Yohio, looked back to Mayu from his seat.

"I have seen Len upstairs carrying your— 'things'."

Mayu's face was painted red when she heard Yohio's response.

"W-what 'things'?" She said, wanting a solid confirmation to her suspicion.

"You— know... your pantsu and stuff.. the pink ribboned ones."  Yohio reluctantly said in a low voice, Mayu shrieked in embarrassment.

Her eyes had widened and looked at Yohio with mixed embarrassment and fury.

"YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE SEEN THOSE KIND OF STUFF!!"

"But, I've seen Len carrying it along at his room and he said you knew about it."

"What!" She said, dropping her fists and stomping her feet.

Returning from the outside, Anna heard Mayu's angry voice.

"Mayu, my dear?" Her mother said, looking at her at the stairs.

"Ugh.... You are so so dead Len!" She said while racing up the stairs.

"What is Mayu so angry about Yohio?" Anna said, confused.

"Girly issues Mum." Yohio replied.

"Oh..." Her mother mumbled, "You mean.."

"Hey! Give me back my panties Len!" Mayu's voice roared from upstairs, Anna and Yohio hearing her below.

"Oh, those... stuff..." Anna slowly said, astounded while hearing rambling noises above.

"..You know its so wrong to steal someone's stuff especially your big sister's underwear!"

While Yohio and his mother was left speechless because of the commotion, Allen walked in and approached them.

"Yohio, my Anna!" Allen said, looking at the two, "What is happening here? Why are you two looked like that?"

"Give- me- those- panties Len!" Mayu demanded, followed by some sounds of footsteps running.

"Never!" Len responded to his sister.

"Oops..." Allen just said, Anna made a squinted look at his husband. "I guess I gave a wrong advice to the kids."

"So, Mister Allen Kagamine, you are the suspect behind these chaos!" Anna said, Allen waived his hand immediately in denial.

"Rin and Len just asked for advice from me for their art class.."

"Honey, when did panties and art had a connection?"

"Huh, what panties?"

"You don't know?"

"Like I told you, the twins seek advice from me about art.. That's it! No panties included!"

Anna put her hands at her waist."So tell me Mister Allen, what advice did you gave to the kids?"

"I- I said: 'Len, Rin, If you want your arts to be the best, you need first an inspiration. Find an inspiration that is colorful and beautiful so that others can appreciate it also'..."

"Oh yeah, inspiration. And Mayu's collection of stuff is really catching to the kid's eyes. And it happens that the two had chosen Mayu's pantsu to be the source of inspiration. Perfect." Yohio thought to himself while looking sarcastically to his father.

"... I advised them so clean, I never mentioned those stuff to them." Allen said.

"But still..." Anna insisted, "You should've guided them to make art."

"But..." Allen muttered, his wife cut him off.

"Because of this, you'll be sleeping with your tools down there honey. No hugs from me or kisses for one whole day, understand?"

"Why!" Allen said, raising both of his hands in the air while Mayu and the twins were settling their 'misunderstandings about inspirational aspects of art'.
