~O~
Izuku entered the opening, staring at it's inner structure as he slowly walked in further. One hand on the icy wall while the other grabbed onto his shirt from the chest.
The glacier was quite huge and had a steep pathway that went down, Izuku figured more than half of the ice body was already under the frozen river. But apparently, there was nothing in sight as for right now that could help him and Bakugou cross the river safely.
Maybe it was down there?
Izuku crouched near the steep path, inspecting it. It would be difficult to come back up. He could use his quirk to come up through without any danger of injuring himself now that he remembered how to use it properly.
The green haired boy took a glance back, noticing the ash blonde standing in the distance with his back towards him. He was probably waiting for the green head to come back.
But Izuku still had his suspicions.
But then again, it was Bakugou who was with him. Maybe he was just plain annoyed by helping him out and didn't want to answer his questions right now. Maybe he himself didn't know how he got in here. Maybe he wasn't real and the voice was playing with him again. Maybe this was all a big trap and he should try contacting the real world once more before taking any steps. Maybe this was the Bakugou he knew and not some decoy.
There were a lot of possibilities.
And Izuku wasn't sure which path would be safe for him. He had to take some risks if he wanted out. Either he left his childhood friend here and ran or he took them both to safety... Or blindly enter a trap and die.
Regardless, Izuku took the icy steep path and slid down on his feet, his knees slightly bent.
It was shallow and the green haired boy reached the end quicker than anticipated. And if it wasn't for the setting sun's rays refracting through the ice, he wouldn't have been able to see a thing.
'I hope I'm not making a mistake here... But I still need to keep my guard up.' Izuku thought as he bit his lower lip, walking in.
Taking in everything he could see and hear, Izuku stopped a little away from the steep path he came from.
"There's..." He said, "There's nothing in here..."
That was true. There was nothing in his sight. Just a shapeless hollow made of ice that slowly darkening, signalling towards the coming night. There was no sound except for the weak waves gently crashing against the ice.
"Strange... It didn't feel like a trap. Kacchan sounded so honest and yet... I didn't even feel it's presence nearby either... Well I guess, it did overtook my mindscape." Izuku mumbled to himself.
"I should leave now..."
He said as he subconsciously glanced at his reflection in the icy wall. Nothing out of the ordinary. He only saw his own face with a lost look. Something in the reflection of his eyes told him that he was slowly losing hope and falling right where the voice wanted him.
Izuku placed a hand on the ice wall, a reflection of the scarred hand followed his own as he said, "What if there really is no way out...?"
He bit his lower lip harder than before, he didn't want to let his tears out. Not yet. Not until he was out of this place. His frame was slightly trembling — he wasn't sure if it was the fear or the cold. Either way it wasn't a good sign.
He was falling right into it's trap...
"Aren't I-I just troubling everyone?" Izuku stared at his reflection, brows knitted and tears daring to fall.
Realization began sinking in. Izuku knew what he was dealing with here. He knew how strong it was. What it wanted. And what it could do.
This quirk was... The one he was born with. It was supposed to give control over a realm that was located in his own mind after death or a near death experience. He could've easily had a second chance at life if it wasn't for the powerful creature that had merged together as his greatest fear and desire; revenge.
The past hatred towards others that built up an unreachable thirst for vengeance was his once his greatest desire. And now it was his greatest fear; harming the others for something wrong they did to him.
And since they both were practically the same thing put in two different angles, it became strong enough to take over Izuku's mindscape.
And the green haired boy knew what it wanted next...
He took a shaky breath before talking to the voice directly, "I can't fight you... You're obviously stronger than me. The quirks are just a bluff, a-aren't they? That's why my leg was healed when I-I woke up. That person outside i-isn't Kacchan, right? And I'm going to die soon anyways... I really shouldn't... I-I really shouldn't trouble the others like this. Please, just keep them away from all this... I don't want anyone to get hurt because of me..."
He wiped away his tears as he gave his reflection a sorrowful yet a scornful and determined look, "Come out... I want to settle this on my own."
A few moments passed by but the green head never heard a reply from the voice. It was making him anxious by second.
He gritted his teeth before he yelled out, "Just come out already!! I know what you are!! There's no avoiding it! Not when we've come this far!! You know I'll die soon! You know you'll die with me! You know you'll fail if that happened! You were just waiting for the moment I was the most vulnerable to take over my conscience, right?! Well here I am! Come out and let me face you!"
His voice gained a hoarse tone as he yelled in anger, tears slipping down his cheeks one after another.
And the fact that voice was as silent as it was never there wasn't helping the green haired boy. It wasn't responding, it wasn't speaking, it wasn't doing shit.
He huffed, now staring at his feet. There was silence before he looked back at his reflection, scarred hand still on it.
"COME OUT!!"
The area where his scarred hand rested began to glow a unique shade of viridian green.
His eyes widened as it appeared in front of him, taking place of his reflection.
It smirked.

Back at UA...
More than half of the class had forgotten everything related to Midoriya. From the teachers, only All Might and Aizawa could recognize a thing. Though Aizawa could tell he would slowly lose the last few memories of the green haired boy soon.
Basically every single object that was related to the green head vanished. Aizawa even had a call from Inko earlier as the worried mother described how Izuku's bedroom, his pictures, his clothes were all gone. He had to tell her everything from the start and reassured her that they were trying to help.
Bakugou, Uraraka, Todoroki and Iida were the only students left to remember him. And were trying their best not to panic since nothing seemed to be working.
Todoroki's plan didn't go as anticipated and he had no idea what to do once Bakugou handed him his phone, showing how the green haired boy wasn't replying to anything. His contact with reality was somehow cut off and Todoroki didn't know what else to do.
They spent the whole trying to form a contact again. They visited the hospital only to see Midoriya getting colder by each second. They tried waking him up. They tried talking to him. They tried searching for other ways... But nothing seemed to work as they only felt the memories leaving them slowly.
A whole day went to waste as they accomplished nothing.
And at night, Aizawa had forgotten the boy as well.
He forced the four students back to bed, despite All Might telling him not to. He didn't take the excuse of losing-his-memories-of-a-student-who-was-gonna-die. Since there was practically nothing that could prove to him that Midoriya needed help, they were all defeated against him.
All Might remembered just a little of his successor's time at UA and the past ten months of training.
Todoroki only remembered the Sports Festival, he kept repeating it in his mind over and over again so he wouldn't forget. But it was making him lose focus on other things.
He doubted if he would remember him till tomorrow.
Iida had forgotten a lot and a lot about Midoriya. The Midoriya he remembered was from before the USJ incident and there were small glimpses of the incident with Stain in his memory. Unfortunately, it seemed as if he wouldn't be able to hold onto them.
Uraraka wasn't doing great either. As she slowly lost the memories of her friend through the day, at night, she was holding onto almost the same memories Iida was struggling to keep with an addition of a few others.
(A/N: I almost wrote, "Bakugou remembered his shit. This is why we love him." Lol.)
Bakugou still had a lot of memories about Midoriya. Though he couldn't say they were all good. He remembered a little time with him at UA and basically the rest of his life.
He knew it. He knew he would be the last one. He knew he had to do something on his own at the last moment. And it was getting closer. There was no way in hell Aizawa was letting them do anything during curfew hours. But he would still have till the next sundown. He had the half day, he'd figure something out. He'd try even though it looked hopeless now.
Because if he didn't,
Midoriya was going to die soon without leaving anything behind.

Class-1-A dorms were quite. Students were asleep while couldn't close their eyes. It was quiet.
And...
It was past midnight when Bakugou received another text.
