Izuku made his way down the hill towards the house, not hearing the whisper in his ear.

The boy took careful steps down the slope but still, he stumbled and rolled down to the bottom. He ended up getting down there and landing on his back, sprawled out. He yelped, sitting up and rubbing his head.

"Should've watched my steps better..." he sighed and stood up.

He brushed of the dust from his clothes before heading towards the house.

Now, taking a good look at it, Izuku realized the house wasn't anything big. Rather it was a small two-storey log cabin.

There wasn't anything else nearby either. No trees, unlike before. No flowers or any other plants. No other cabins. No smoke rising from the chimney indicating burning fire for the cold. Not any vehicle or any animal nearby. There was just the cabin standing on the ground coated with tall grass.

There wasn't a single sound other than of the rubber tyre swing hanging in the porch, moving back and forth like a pendulum and the wind passing through the vale.

Izuku took a deep breath and went ahead towards the door.

He knocked just in case someone was there.

No answer.

He knocked again in hopes to get proper permission to enter the cabin.

No answer.

"Alright... I'm gonna go in now." Izuku mumbled to himself as he placed his hand on the doorknob.

But he still couldn't help but knock once more. Even though he probably wouldn't get s reply this time either, he just thought of it as very rude to just barge in a cabin that was certainly not his own.

「 Come in... 」

⚫⚫⚫

Unlike expected, this time the green haired boy got a reply. And that reply was from the voice he was looking for.

Could this be where the person behind the voice was?!

Izuku turned the doorknob and slowly pushed the door open as it made a few creaking noises. He closed the door behind him as he went further inside the cabin.

It looked like it was pretty old. There were cobwebs in almost every corner and all the furniture was covered by a layer of dust. The wooden floor creaked with every step the boy took.

There weren't many things to consider but the place was enough for one person to stay.

But by the looks of it, it was a huge possibility that no one has been there in a decade or something. It was just an abandoned old cabin. What could he possibly find there?

Izuku sighed as he looked around some more.

There was a small living area that he had already passed. An old couch, covered with a white sheet. A coffee table, covered with dust just like everything else. Though there was a fire lantern sitting on top of the table. Izuku picked it up and tried to turn it on. It didn't work. Probably out of fuel. Izuku still took it with him just in case. There was a fireplace, ashes here and there while there was no wood for burning.

There weren't any other noticeable things there.

He went ahead. There was a small kitchen. Searching through the cabinets, he found light fuel and a match box.

Perfect! He can use the lantern for dark places now.

There were a few other things too. Things like a penknife, some keys, a few papers and a torn picture.

The penknife was pretty sharp. Izuku placed it back on the counter.

Izuku turned to the keys. The ornamental piece connected to the key chain that held the keys together had something written on it.

Izuku squinted his emerald eyes a little, "Memory lane..." He read out loud.

Izuku thought of it as strange. What did it mean by memory lane? Maybe... Maybe his memories were locked somewhere? But that didn't make much sense to him. How could his memories be locked somewhere. Just where was he?

Izuku decided to take the keys with him as he stuffed them into his pockets. He needed answers more than ever.

Next up were the papers and the torn picture. The torn picture looked like a group photo in front of a school, probably with a whole class. Though all the faces were blacked out and it was torn in half, Izuku couldn't help but feel a little sad after seeing it. Behind the picture was written; Nostalgia is the suffering caused by an unappeased yearning to return.

He placed it back down silently, thinking about what that quote was implying.

Was it about his memory loss?

The papers, on the other hand, were... Old and were almost tearing apart. But Izuku managed to stick them together for a while so he could make out what was written on it.

❝ This letter pr⬛ably isn't going to reach anyone but still it's worth a shot. I just wanna say that wherever you are or who⬛er you are, don't ⬛e up. Never give up. Not on your dreams. Not on your ⬛ily. Not on your friends. Not on your life. The person be⬛nd the voice is your al⬛⬛⬛⬛Don't tru⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ Fight ba⬛⬛⬛He wan⬛⬛ur bod⬛⬛That quirk⬛⬛killed⬛⬛. Please leav⬛⬛⬛⬛be careful about the error. ❞

And that was it.

Izuku placed it back with the other things. He was having second thoughts about coming here.

Who wrote the letter? What error? Why was it blacked out from many parts? What quirk? Killed who? Who was the person behind the voice? Was he dangerous? He didn't sound like he could harm someone. He sounded so kind. Then why?

Maybe he should go to the voice...

Something was telling him that the voice had all the answers.

But where to find this voice?

Search up... 」

As much as Izuku was beginning to fear the voice,

He couldn't help but do as it said.

Class-1-A reached their dormitories pretty late.

After Aizawa called UA, they had a brief conversation of what the students had recently figured out. They insisted that they could save Midoriya.

Aizawa agreed but said that they needed to rest for today and start tomorrow. Of course the students resisted saying that they needed to do something right now. But Aizawa was right at his place.

There were already tired from before the entire incident. They wouldn't be able to do much for their green haired friend without any rest. They knew they wouldn't be at their best, so in the end, they complied to their homeroom teacher and headed back to the dorms.

They had dinner and went to their separate rooms saying their good nights.

Even still, when heading to his room, Tokoyami couldn't help but think about what Todoroki said earlier,

"What if we tried holding onto things that connects to him? Can that extend our memory?"

Tokoyami recalled the hetrochromatic boy's statement and went to the door next to his own bedroom door.

He opened the door to the green haired boy's room...

And was shocked at what he saw.

The room was—!

"Are you okay, Tokoyami?" Aoyama asked as he came out of his room.

Tokoyami turned to the blonde, "A-Aoyama... Hurry call Mr. Aizawa! I'll get Iida and the others!"

"I-Is everything okay?" Aoyama asked.

"You won't get it now! Just go get him!"

"O-Oui!"

Class-1-A — except all those who have already forgotten the green haired boy, now with the addition of Ojiro — stood now stood standing in the Common Area waiting for Aizawa to arrive.

And as for the rest of them, they could feel their memories of Midoriya slowly deteriorating away.

And it made them feel so... So weak.

Like, they couldn't even help but forget all about a friend who was on his deathbed.

It was like a twitch in their hearts every time a moment went away.

They felt so horribly weak.

Soon enough, Aizawa entered the dorms with a worried All Might.

"What happened?" The tired man asked looking at the teenagers.

Yaoyorozu stood up, "Ojiro just lost his memories and Tokoyami noticed something... Strange in Midoriya's room."

"Something strange?" All Might repeated. That last statement reminded him of something the teachers were just coming back from.

"His room was..." Tokoyami started, "His room was completely empty. There's nothing in there..."

Now All Might truly believed this was just what the teachers had recently witnessed back in the Staff Room.

"Oh my god..." Aizawa said, "Todoroki assumed we should hold onto things related to him to expand our limit but this quirk... This quirk is erasing not only the memories but everything related to Midoriya."

"What?! What do you mean!?"

"All of Young Midoriya's student files, quirk assessment results, physical and academic records are missing too..." All Might explained, looking down.

This quirk was straight up destroying everything... Why?

"What... What should we do then? I mean, we can't just let i-it all go away..." Uraraka asked, she looked horrified.

"Don't worry. We Pros are working on it. We'll find something that could help. You kids go get some rest." Aizawa said.

"But, sir—!" Todoroki was cut off before he could finish his statement.

"Go. To. Bed." Aizawa gave them his signature red-eyed glare that left the students no choice but to comply.

But even if they tried, no one was going to get any sleep that night.

Bakugou woke up around four in the morning due to his phone ringing on his side.

He squinted his eyes as he looked at his screen.

He had a few messages.

Wait.

His eyes widened. He sat up straight.

The messages were from,

"...Deku?"
