Leobus stands in front of the gates to enter the forest, Robyn and Lauren fell behind.

He doesn't enjoy waiting, if they want to walk with him they can catch up, he then heads into the forest alone.

At least the woods aren't that different over the time he spent in the ice. Enough dwindling. He wants to run he wants to jump he wants to CLIMB!

Leobus hurls him onto a tree and runs straight up it to the point he shoots into the air overshooting the tree.

"I made a mistake.." Leobus States looking down as the ground gets closer.

Taking dozens of branches and such to the face breaking all of them and then hitting a ground with a loud boom.

-cutting to Lauren and Robyn-

"So there I am and he's still got my phone and I have a quarter of pepper spray left and I just let him have it!" Robyn exclaims finishing a story.

"Ah that's classic, it reminds me of this one time Syd-" Lauren starts but is cut off.

*BOOM*

"W-what was that!? Was that a bomb or something?!" Robyn yells hoping behind Lauren.

"P-probably just Leo getting up to Leo shenanigans.. you can never tell what's on that boys mind.." Lauren "theorizes" knowing Leobus and Robyn couldn't know.

"I'm still worried.. let's go find him." Robyn states and hurrying to where she heard the boom.

-back to Leobus-

Leobus sits in a slight crater not that noticeable, he looks down to see his leg bent to the right very broken.

He blinks and snaps it into place without making any noticeable reactions and stands up swinging and kicking it.

He looked up at the tree he just fell from, the path he took was clean and clear with the leaves and branches taken out of the way you could tell something fell from the sky.

This is a problem isn't it.

Leobus looked down to see he's in a puddle of his own blood, great. His reflection stared at him and it slowly morphed into his fully grown form and began to act independently, it yelled at him, it yelled at him so bad to the point even he found himself with his hands on his ears.

"A simple illusion.." Leobus chants to himself as it gets unbearably loud.

"BE SILENT!!" Leobus finally yells and punches the tree Infront of him shattering it.

"Oh no." Leobus States as he's hit face first with the tree he just punched down falling onto him.

"I hate the future.. I hate the future!" He yells again kicking the tree into the sky and instantly feeling regret.

He lays on his back staring at the sky now that he has even a better view through the veil of the leaves.

"Leo? Are you around here?" Asks a voice.

"I'm over here." He replies not standing, Robyn and Lauren approach and look at him on the ground, "everything okay Leo?" Lauren asks, Leobus just nods for an answer.

"I don't want to be in the Forrest right Now.. I smell salt water is the ocean near by." He says looking at Lauren.

"Oh yeah it's a bit of a walk that way." Lauren replies standing looking in a direction.

"Can we go there. Something tells me we do not want to be here within the next few minutes." Leobus States.

"Like the rains gonna get worse?" Robyn asks confused, "...yes that." Leobus answers as he sees the tree up in the sky, he estimates it'll be here in forty seven seconds give or take.

With no time to lose he hops to his feet and begins walking with Lauren the Robyn in pursuit.

-forty six and a half seconds later-

"Still the ocean." Leobus thinks looking at Lauren and Robyn who have been having a hard time keeping up this whole time, Leobus looks down at the slope where the Forrest stops and the ocean starts, the drop is at least ten feet.

Lauren and Robyn take the nearby ramp while Leobus slides down the side of the all seeing as it's a very very steep ramp.

Arriving on the sand Leobus removes his rain boots seeing his feet have changed even more to those of a humans reminding him of a question that's always stuck with him "if all of these changes are for survival by the time nothing can hurt me.. am I still me?"

Leobus shakes his head fighting those thoughts from his mind.

Suddenly he hears the tree landing, act natural.

Leobus walks to the water and looks out as Lauren tries to make something up to the freaking Robyn.

Lauren shoots Leobus a "help me" look, so he winds his foot back and swings it kicking a large wave of water onto the two.

Robyn whips her head around to face where it can from "w-what was that!?" She yells.

Leobus doesn't enjoy her yelling at everything.. he wonders if there's anything he can change so it's too a bare minimum.

Leobus catches something in the corner of his eye.. wait.. he recognizes that shape.. that's his species!

He goes to take off running but someone grabs his arm and jumps and looks at who the hand belongs to, oh it's Robyn only now catching up

"Leo are you okay?.. you've been acting weird for a while.." she states with worry prominent in her voice.

Leobus pulls his arm away silent looking at the ground, what is he to do there's a member of his mind right there but another species is in the way.

"What am I to do" repeats itself in Leo's head.

Robyn waves her hand in front of the non-responding Leo growing in concern, she turns to face Lauren to speak, now his chance! Leobus takes off as fast as his legs could let him, to human eyes it just looks like he disappeared which was all he needed.

"Lauren I don't think Leo's okay.." she tells Lauren getting her attention and she looks over.

"He looks fine to me." Replies Lauren seeing Leobus full sprinting through the sand at a ludicrous speed.

As Leobus gets closer he sees more and more details, make tall even for his used to be seven foot self, muscular, wait.. that hair.. those tribal markings..

Leobus' mind is taken over by two burning words driving him to run faster "it's him."

Over and over "it's him it's him it's him it's him it's him!!"

Leobus eventually turns to a blur and the sand has glass footprints of his run until he's upon his target.

He jumps dead set as his arm reels back and goes to slam his fist into the man with all his force even planning on hurting his arm in the process with how much he's putting into it.

The world slows.. the man turns and sees Leobus with a sick smile.

He speaks in his language..

-translation-

"LEOBUS HOW I LONGED TO SEE YOU AGAIN!!" He bellows time going quicker as he slams his fist through leobus' stomach.

Lauren covers Robyn's eyes and gets her out of here. "What's going on where's Leo??" Robyn asks more or less getting dragged away.

Leobus hits the ground feeling his blood puddle form..

He feels his body changing for survival but does it have enough time? He'll have to find out.

The man looms over him with glowing yellow eyes and steam bellowing from his mouth, "ah our champion: LEOBUS! Decommissioned by a single strike! Pathetic." He spits.

Leobus feels his consciousness slip as he turns.

"Is this really how I end? Frozen for what felt like an eternity just to be put down..

That's a shame.. I never got to find her.. I hope she can forgive me.." Leobus thinks.

The man glances back and growls at Leobus' weakened state, that was the legendary Leobus!? He knows the true Leobus.. LEOBUS RIVALS THE GODS booms in his head, he won't let it end yet he wants Leobus to stand he wants Leobus to conquer!

He stops and speaks.
