Inside the house, Eddie ran against the time, he decided to try on the second floor, but the stairs were cracking and showing signs that they were some kind of trap.

Eddie: ....

Eddie was analyzing the situation, on what he could do.

Flora: 'Cough' 'Cough'

Eddie: ... Sorry honey, i need you to be strong now, okay?

Flora: 'Nod'

'CRACK!' 'CRACK!'

Flora: ?!

Eddie broke his arms and knees, making them bend backwards, and then he started crawling on the wall like a spider, Flora was holding Eddie with all her strength to not take a risk and fall.
While crawling

'CRASH!'

Tentacles appeared, they tried to grab Eddie, but he dodged them and used his twisted limbs to do strange acrobatics moves, Flora now was holding Eddie with all her strength, everything was okay until.

'WRAP!'

Flora: Gah!

Eddie: ?!

Eddie stopped to try and help her, but with that

'POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!'

The tentacles hitted him, Eddie was launched against a wall, but when he looked in front of him

'SHOCK!' 'Thump'

Flora somehow... Absorbed the tentacles? Eddie ran to her side 

Eddie: Are you alright? What happened?

Flora: 'Cough' I.. I don't know

When Flora opened her eyes, Eddie saw that they were dark, at least her sclera was black, but her pupils were yellow and green.

Eddie: ....

He helped her get on his back again, Eddie was searching, on the first room, it was pretty normal and okay.

Eddie: ....

He prepared again and kicked down the door, but this time, nothing happened.

Eddie: ..... Child, do you trust me?

Flora: ? Why do you ask?

Eddie: Do you trust me or not?

Flora: I-I guess so?

Eddie: Good.

He holded her and then

'FWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!'

Flora: ?!

Threw her to the bed in the middle of the room.

Flora: Hey! What was that fo-

'SCHKNIT!'

Eddie rolled forward, the entire hall floor was a spike trap that almost caught him.

Flora: ?!

Eddie: .... 

'SCHKNIT!'

Eddie: ?!

Flora: Watch out!

Eddie rolled to the side, a spike almost caught him, Eddie had to move more and more, it was until

'WRAP!'

One tentacle appeared and wrapped itself on Eddie's body, a spike was coming to and was about to stab him but

'WRAP!'

Hair wrapped around that spike.

Eddie: ?!

Erma used her hair to stop the spike, Eddie used all his strength to rip the tentacles, and 

'RIP!'

He succeed, and after that he jumped and hugged Erma to protect her from

'SCHKNIT!'

From another spike that was aiming her, it stabbed his knee, disconnecting his veins and making him fall on the ground.
Erma was questioning him, scared that he hurt himself, but then

'Pat' 'Pat'

Eddie: I'm okay, it's just a scratch.

Flora: ...

Flora saw how calm he was, even if he's hurt and is now in the middle of a race against time, he's not showing any kind of fear to her and even for Flora.

Eddie: Let's go okay? We need to find the others.

Erma: 'Nod'

'Wrap!'

Eddie: Hm?

Flora: ?

Erma hugged him again, trembling a bit.

'Pat' 'Pat'

After some minutes they finally helped Eddie with his problem, They grabbed a piece of wood and wrapped around his knee so that he would at least be able to stand back up, for some reason, his ability to regenerate wasn't working that well now, and without the food, it feels impossible to regenerate now.

Eddie: Alright, do you know where's the others? Did you saw them?

Erma: 'Nod'

Eddie: Okay, where are them?

Erma started doing signals and some explanation, Flora wasn't understanding but when she looked to Eddie.

Eddie: Hmmm... Alright, south corridor at the last room, Amy is on the bathroom, you two separated because she helped you go but when she heard us she yelled to you help us and call for our help, is that all?

Erma: 'Nod'

Flora: Eh???

He understood her very well, making Flora confused.

Eddie: Alright, let's go.

Erma was helping him by holding his arm above her shoulder to get him to be able to be stable and Flora was holding his leg to help him walk while using to get stable as well, since she was still very weak.
Getting closer to the room.

Eddie: On my lead okay?

Flora: Huh?

Erma: 'Nod'

Eddie: Now.... UP!

Erma used her powers to make the three of them to float and not fall, the ground

'CRASH!'

Opened, if they didn't do that they would have fallen on some kind of abyss.

Eddie: Lower your heads.

Flora: What are y-

'Push'

Eddie lowered her head to not

'SCHNIT!'

Be pierced by another spike, Eddie and Erma did the same, the spike just.

'RIP!'

Eddie: Oh, sorry child, are you alright?

Erma: 'Thumbs up'

Cutted some strings of hair from Erma, in which it grew back very fast.
They arrived at the room.

Flora: .... It doesn't looks so bad.

'Growls'

Eddie: I guess you spoke sooner than you should.

Flora: Yeah.

A three headed snake appeared.

Eddie: Erma sweetie, could you help me out?

Erma: 'Nod'

Eddie: Great, Fiona right?

Flora: Flora, my mom's Fiona.

Eddie: Alright, would you kindly find Amy? She's in the bathroom.

Flora: .... I guess?

Eddie: Good, and don't worry.

He grabbed his hunting knife and Erma was levitating some pieces of wood, aiming at the creature.

Eddie: Me and Erma will have a "Conversation" with our little friend here.

Erma was.... Well:

She was ready to rumble.

Eddie: So, let's start this.
