Hello everyone, now yes I know it's been a considerable amount of time since I last updated this story. The major issue that I am facing that is in truth looking back on my old works I realize I had little patience and rushed a lot of things. That and this story unfortunately suffered from an early bad habit of mine which was adding every little idea that popped into my head without giving it any serious thought. So what is the point am I trying to make? Am I saying I'm giving up on this story? Heck no! I love the Erma Comics and want to continue Xander's story, however the way I approach it is the roadblock. So I have a question for all of you, should I Rewrite Erma: Family is Forever?

The rewrite would be called Erma: Family is Forever Reloaded!

So what would this rewrite entail exactly? Well the primary change would be to Xander's background. I was thinking he could be a Wizard or potentially a European Supernatural entity. This means Mitsu and Momo would inherit a few of his abilities and powers. I open to suggestions in this department.

The second change would be longer chapters that cover more of the Comic Chapters in one go. I will also flesh out scenes from the original more. Basically more character interactions galore.

Finally I hope to focus more on the Supernatural societies of the world as a whole. Really lean into the horror theming Erma has.

What will remain the same? The heartwarming moments, focus on family, and of course dashes of comedy here and there. Again this is a rewrite, I do like some of my setups from the original.

Of course if you don't like the idea of this story being rewritten I can continue to find ways to continue it as is. Please leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments on my proposition as always. I will let this sit for a few days to a week before I contemplate any kind of final decision.
