Last time Xander got a call from his cousin and Mitsu and Momo finally broke from all the emotions they were holding in for awhile now! Although the peace can't last for much longer.

Things had been rather hectic around the Yureimoto household as the final preparations were being made. Xander was currently helping carry and set things up alongside Yori as Fumiko was busy directing everyone. "Are you sure that it was a good idea letting Mitsu and Momo go with Rin, Mayumi, and Erma?" Yori asked as she gave her fiancé a sideways look or worry. "They'll be fine, your sisters are perfectly capable of taking care of three kids." Xander said as he tried to put his fiancé's mind at ease. "I know that, but it's only been a day since their little breakdown. I feel like we should be with them." Yori said as she played with the item she was holding in her hands as she was nervous.
               Xander knew Yori was worried about their daughters ever since they had their breakdown a day or two ago. "Yori I'm sure they'll be fine. Erma has been keeping her eye on them, plus I have a feeling that Rin will be keeping a close eye on them." Xander said as he tried to put his fiancé's mind at ease. "I know, it's just I can't help but worry about them." Yori said as she looked down with worry still evident on her face. Xander gently pulled her into a hug before giving her a quick peck on the cheek. Xander then noticed that the group of Yokai they met at the bar were carrying a statue.
             Xander and Yori watched as Fumiko marched up to the group and started chewing them out. Although Sam stepped in and diffused the situation as Fumiko seemingly backed off from her rant. "Oh this I've got to tease her about!" Yori said in a mischievous tone before stretching her neck over to her oldest sister. Xander shook his head at his fiancé's antics as he refocused on the task at hand of setting up the parade. "Although now that I think about it I do hope Mitsu and Momo aren't still a mess emotionally. This trip has been tough on them." Xander thought to himself before going back to work.

In Town
Mitsu and Momo both walked behind their Aunt Rin while their Aunt Mayumi and Erma were walking side by side. "You think the rest of this trip will be smooth sailing sis?" Momo asked as she looked over at her twin in curiosity. "Are you kidding? Grandpa and Grandma haven't even shown up yet. I have a feeling things are only going to spiral out of control more." Mitsu said as she gently kicked a stone on the path. "We just can't have a normal family gathering, can we?" Momo sighed as she gave her sister a deadpan look as they continued to walk.
                 "Y-You don't think grandpa will try and hurt dad? Do you?" Momo asked with fear obviously present in her voice. Mitsu looked down in fear as she didn't know how to respond to that question. "I-I don't know, there's no telling what he'll do." Mitsu said as she was genuinely worried about the answer they would get to that question. The twins were interrupted when a tail wrapped around them and pull them off their feet. "Alright you two, what's wrong?" Rin said as she held her nieces eye level with her. "Just worried about what will happen when grandpa arrives Aunt Rin." Mitsu admitted as she knew there was no point in lying to their Aunt.
Rin's expression softened as she understood that feeling completely. "Your not alone in that, but try not to let it consume you. Trust me I've been making that mistake for far to long." Rin said as she tried to put the twin's minds at ease. "But what if grandpa chases off dad again? Or worse what if he hurts him?!" Momo said with more panic in her voice then she intended. "Look your dad isn't going to back down this time that's for sure. Don't worry Fumiko and Emiko already plan on keeping an eye on him. We don't intend on letting anything happen to him or Sam." Rin said as she hoped that would make the twins feel better about it.
               The twins sighed before nodding in understanding before Rin set them back on their feet. The trio then turn to see Erma examining a toy as Mayumi picked it up.

Mayumi began to twist the key on top of the toy as it started to get wound up. Eventually the hat popped off the head before spinning and the wings started flapping. Mayumi then gently tossed the toy as it flew into the air.

Erma smiled as she watched the toy fly into the air. "I wish I could be as care free as Cus is sometimes." Momo sighed as she couldn't wrap her head around how her cousin could be so happy all the time despite things being less then ideal.
             "Trust me your not the only one. It's not that way being positive in the Yureimoto family." Rin said as she's knew how difficult it was to stay positive when your apart of this family. Mayumi and Erma walked back up to them as the trio turned to face them. "Alright Mayumi did you get everything you needed?" Rin asked as Mayumi nodded her head before shuffling her bag. "Alright well we'll hit the next few stores in case you need anything else." Rin said as Mayumi nodded before they all started walking down the street. Although before Rin could continue on her way she spotted someone out of the corner of her eye that got her attention.
                Leaning against a tree was the Jorōgumo girl that had helped Xander and Sam at the bar. The girl smiled and waved at Rin, who went completely rigid before looked down in embarrassment and shame.

Rin wanted to go up and talk to her, but she couldn't work up the nerve to do it. Mitsu and Momo noticed that Aunt Rin had started lagging behind them as they walked back over to their Aunt. "Aunt Rin? Are you okay?" Mitsu asked as they walked up to their Aunt before taking notice of the Jorōgumo girl. "Who's that?" Momo asked as she had never seen this lady at any point. "She's just a friend." Rin said quickly as she didn't want to get into a conversation on the topic. "Are you sure? It feels like there's something more going on here." Mitsu said as she could tell there was some kind of tension.
              "It's nothing!!" Rin snapped as she glared at the twins, which caused them to jump back slightly at their Aunt's angered tone. Rin calmed down when she noticed that she had scared her nieces. "Sorry, it's just....some stuff happened between us. I want to talk to her, but it's still awkward for me." Rin explained as the twins felt there was more to their Aunt's relationship with the Jorōgumo girl then simply being friends. The Jorōgumo girl had already left while Rin was talking to the twins. "We should probably catch up to Mayumi and Erma." Rin said as she and the twins picked up the pace to catch up with the other two members of their family.
               The group was just about finished up with their shopping as they planned on starting their journey back to their family home. Although the sound of a bell being rung as everyone froze in complete fear as that bell could only mean one thing. "It can't be...this early? He usually doesn't come until nighttime!" Rin said as she couldn't wrap her head around this. Meanwhile Mayumi was completely petrified as her whole body started shaking in fear.

Erma looked around in confusion as she had no idea what was happening. Erma walked up to the twins as they were completely still as well. Erma gently tugged on both their sleeves as they whipped around in fear before calming down when they realized it was her. "You don't know what's happening do you Cus?" Mitsu asked as she waited for her cousin to give her a response.
             Erma nodded her head as she was completely confused. "That's the danger signal, that means he's on his way." Momo said as Erma only seemed more confused. "Look we need to get back to the house, things are about to get ugly. You should fly on ahead of us so your mom doesn't freak out. We'll help Aunt Ring get Aunt Mayumi back." Mitsu said as Erma was still confused, but she nodded her head in understanding before flying into the sky. Mitsu and Momo watched their cousin fly away before approaching their Aunt Rin. "Aunt Rin, we need to get back to the house." Mitsu said as she tapped Aunt Rin on her side to get her attention.
             Rin broke out of her stupor as she looked down at Mitsu. "Your right, although Mayumi might be a bit of a challenge." Rin said as she turned to her petrified sister. "Aunt Mayumi? We should get back to the house." Momo said as she tapped her terrified Aunt on the shoulder gently. Mayumi quickly pulled Momo into a hug. "Aunt Mayumi?" Momo said in worry as she noticed that her Aunt was still shaking in fear. "I hope things don't fall apart on us, Dad please be safe until we get back!" Momo thought to herself as she let her Aunt hug her.

Back at the Yureimoto House
Xander heard the sound of the bell being rung as he put down what he was carrying before quickly making his way through the house. Xander passed by plenty of the servants as he eventually spotted Yori along with Emiko and Sam.

"Thank god I found you! Isn't it a little early for him to be showing up?" Xander asked as he stopped in front of Yori. "Looks like he decided to come early this year. Great and here I thought I'd have more time to mentally prepare myself." Yori groaned in annoyance as she was not looking forward to this. "What's going on exactly?" Sam asked as he walked up next to Xander with a curious look on his face at what the commotion was.
                Emiko went completely rigid as this was the moment she had been dreading since they arrived in the Yokai World. "He's here." Emiko said in complete dread as she looked over her shoulder at the rest of them with a deadly seriousness in her eyes.

"What exactly is going on?" Sam asked again as he looked over at Xander for any kind of answers. "Are you ready to meet your father in law? Cause that's what that alarm bell is for." Xander said as Sam gave him a surprised look due to his statement. "That's what it's for? Isn't that a bit excessive?" Sam asked as he found it slightly over the top for a single person arriving in town.
             Xander patted Sam on the shoulder as he knew that Sam was still new to this whole thing. "Trust me, if you knew all the stuff the old man has done over the years, you'd get why it's this serious." Xander said as he was calm, but even he was nervous about what was currently approaching the town. "Well this is it, but I'm not backing down this time! Don't think you can get rid of me this time Osamu, because this time I'm staying right here!" Xander thought to himself as he had no intentions of running away this time. Everyone in the city stood completely still as the head of the Yureimoto family was making his return. One thing was for certain, whatever awaited the Yureimoto Family, it certainly wasn't going to be easy.

So we have another chapter after a long time, please understand that I am following the comic and I want to have a decent number of chapters are out before I can even start coming up with a scenario for a chapter.
