Hank POV

I followed Charles, Logan, and (y/n) down to Cerebro.

"When was the last time you were down here?" Logan asked.

"The last time we went looking for mutants," I replied.

"A lifetime ago," Charles stated.

He stopped his wheelchair in front of the door to Cerebro.

"Welcome, professor," Cerebro said after scanning Charles' eye.

We walked inside. When we reached the controls, I quickly adjusted the knobs.

"Raven's wounded," I said. "She won't be moving fast."

Charles lifted up the headset, blowing away the dust.

"These are muscles I haven't stretched in a long time," he says, putting the headset on.

He gasped and I could see him struggling to hang on.

"Charles!" Logan said, trying to get his attention.

Suddenly, the glass on Cerebro's controls shattered. Charles gasped again and yanked the headset off.

"Charles!" I say, going to his side. "Charles, it's alright." I paused. "I'll go check the generator."

"I'll come with you," (y/n) said. I looked at her. "What? I helped you rebuild it. I know what I'm doing."

I shrugged and walked out of Cerebro, (y/n) close behind me. We made it to the generator, where (y/n) and I quickly set to work, looking for a way to get Cerebro working again. I worked on one side while (y/n) worked on the other. I glanced up at her as we worked.

"Any particular reason you decided to come along and help?" I asked.

"Logan has a few things to say to Charles."

"Good things, I hope."

"Things that will help him, so yes, good things."

We continued to look around, fiddling with a few things here and there.

"So," I said. "Any idea how or where Raven or Erik are?"

"Not on location, no. Erik is fine now. He was able to stitch up his head. Raven's still limping around. She needs to stay off that leg or she might make it worse."

"You think she'll be okay?"

"I'm not sure. I can never tell."

I nodded before another question popped into my head.

"Have you ever tried to use Cerebro?" I asked.

"No. It's power would be too much for me, even if Charles taught me how to use it properly. Besides, he needs to get back into it. It's not healthy to go as long as he did without his powers."

I nodded.

"I'm glad he's doing this," I said. "He's been through so much."

"So have we."

I nodded. I fixed one more thing and heard the power turn back on. (y/n) and I stood up and walked out of the generator room. We started back towards Cerebro when (y/n) stopped. I looked back at her.

"(y/n)?" I said.

"You go see Charles and Logan," she replied.

"Where are you going?"

"Upstairs. We have a visitor."

"Who?"

She smiled.

"You'll see when you're done."

With that, she turned and walked away, heading towards the elevator. I shrugged and walked back to join the others.

"Power's back on," I announced as I approached.

"Yes, yes it is," Charles said, tears shining in his eyes. He smiled at me, before looking slightly confused. "Where's (y/n)?"

"She went upstairs. She said we had a visitor and we'll get to see who it is when we're done down here."

He nodded and rolled his chair back towards Cerebro's controls.

I walked out of my room where we had just watched a recording from a broadcast earlier today. It said that there was to be a presentation in front of the White House where the Sentinels would be presented. We walked down the halls, making our way towards the bunker where the plane was. As we passed the living room, we heard voices. We stopped and looked at each other before stepping into the room. Charles and I gasped in shock.

"Alex?" I said.

He turned around from his seat on the couch and smiled at us.

"Hey, guys," he greeted, raising his coke bottle as a wave.

"Alex, what are you doing here?" Charles asked.

"I came by for a visit. I saw what happened in Paris. You guys going after Erik and Raven?"

"Yes."

"We're trying to change history," I said.

"Right. (y/n) explained everything to me while you guys were tracking Raven."

I saw Logan raise an eyebrow in confusion.

"I'm sorry," he said. "Who are you?"

"Alex Summers."

"Or Havok, as we used to call him," (y/n) said with a smile.

Logan smiled slightly, although there was a hint of sadness in his eyes.

"You don't happen to have a younger brother, do you?"

"Yeah," Alex said. "Scott. You've heard of him?"

"Oh yeah. I work with him in the future."

"How does he turn out?"

"You'd be proud of him."

Alex smiled.

"Are you guys leaving for DC?" (y/n) asked.

"Yes, we are," Charles said. "(y/n), I want you to stay here. We ca-"

"I get it, Charles. I'll be fine here."

"I'll stay with her, Professor X," Alex said with a smile. "You guys go stop Erik."
