Your eyes flashed open. Your whole body shot up and looked around. " E-Eren?!?", you felt a hand on your shoulder slowly punishing you to lay down " calm down [y/n]. Eren is fine". You stared at Mikasa and then looked to your right, a sleeping Eren was right there. Your eyes widen and tears form at the corner of your eyes, your hand covers your mouth and you sob quietly. For you dead friends.

You look around, you were in one of the carts. Still not inside the walls, you sit up and groan quietly. You look down at your hands and see them bandaged not to mention your jacket was a bloody mess...

" how are you feeling, no headaches, are you hurting?" Mikasa questioned you like she would have to Eren .

You smile and croak out with a raspy voice " I'm fine just a bit sore". Her face softens noticeably, when the boy next to you starts tossing and turning.

" [y/n] are you ok?" Your head turns toward the voice to meet the monotone eyes of your Squad captain. " y-yeah just fine... Sorry" Levi nods "tch. Stupid kid." And rides ahead. You smile sadly knowing that that was his way of saying ' I'm glad your ok' or ' I was worried'.
