{Hizashi's pov}

I woke up to hear someone coughing like crazy. I got up and saw shouta was no in bed but rather in the bathroom with the door wide open coughing in the toilet, he was throwing up. "Sho-" "shut up" he said then flushed the toilet. "I-" "WHAT DID I JUST *cough cough*  FUCKING SAY?!" He yelled at me. I just thought he wasn't feeling okay so he wanted to be alone but then he wore his shoes and went outside. It was the winter and he was wearing a long sleeved shirt but it was very thin, I wore my jacket and got a hoodie for him worse my shoes then ran after shouta. "Wait...up...!!" I said while trying to catch my breath, "Please wear this" I said as he walked over to me. I bent down to my knees to catch my breath even more, "Dumbass. I never-" "WELL SHIT, SHO. I CARE ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE MY BEST FRIEND OKAY? I TOLD YOU THAT I'LL CARE FOR OU WHETHER OR NOT YOU LIKE AND I'M STICKING TO THAT." I yelled at him to see him blush a little. "t-thanks..." "Heh-" i chuckled while rubbing the back of my neck, "Hey uh i have to- cough cough go.." but then he coughed more and fell to the ground. "SHO?!" "coughs"  I quickly called nemuri and the ambulance as he fell to his knees coughing while covering his mouth. He kept coughing then passed out in my arms. 
(AT THE HOSPITAL)

"Sho..." I couldn't think of anything else but him. "Doc..?" nemuri asked, "His hanahaki is getting worse, he started coughing up full flowers and it's starting to grow. He has 2 options but he told me he wont take anyone of them... he will.." then the doctor look down, "shit, give him the surgery" "...I can't-" "I SAID, GIVE HIM THE GODAMN SURGERY!" "okay, please leave the room so we can" "Okay" nemuri said then we walked out sitting on bench. Hours later the doctor came out telling us they were done and we could see him, nemuri stayed quiet and didn't come, "you...?" then she handed me a note, "wha?-" "READ IT" she said sobbing,

"Dear Zashi,
I wanted to write this letter incase you or nemuri do the surgery while I am happened to have passed out or asleep. Hizashi Yamada, I love you. You are the love of my life, you always made me smile and lighten my life when it was dull. You left me for your career and I was upset with you and partly still am, I probably forgot you by now which is why you found  this or nemuri gave it to you. It's too late, I know. Please don't do anything stupid when I can't remember you because your just hurting me even though I don't remember you.

Love, your dearest bsf, sho~" 

I fell down on my knees crying then got up and ran to shouta, "SHO?!" I said then hugged him. He pushed me back and said, "Get the fuck off of me, who are you?" he said as tears rolled down my face, I wiped them then got up, "You might not remember me but believe or not I'm your best friend since ua! You just don't remember.. me..!" "Uh...okay...? anyways, hey nemuri!" "H-hi...shouta!" "You seem off?" "it's nothing, glad your back!" "Okay," then silence filled the room, "Hey, I can drop you home if you want" I asked him, "w-" "Uhm, Hizashi... remember... he *clicks tongue*" she then gave me a look, "R-right...! Okay, when you feel better sho i can drive you home!" "I don't even know you?" he said curiously. "Fine, I'm Hizashi Yamada! I've been with you since UA but never mind that, you can call me, "Zashi"! We can start a whole new... Friendship now since you don't.. remember me!" 

(Third person pov)

Tears wouldn't stop rolling out of Hizashi's eyes, he couldn't help it though. He had to cry, he had the right to for losing his best friend, no, his lover.  A FEW MONTHS LATER (TIME SKIP)

(QUICK EXPLANATION: HIZASHI TOLD SHOUTA HE DIDN'T HAVE A HOUSE BUT IN REAL NEMURI SOLD IT TO GET SOME MONEY FOR THE 2. OBVISOULY SHOUTA REMEMBERD HIS HOUSE BUT THEY TOLD HIM HE LOST SOME OTHER MEMORIES ASWELL. HIZASHI AND SHOUTA BECAME VERY GOOD FRIENDS LIKE BEFORE AND THEN STARTED GETTING CLOSER. THEY LIVED TOGETHER AND EVERYTHING. SCHOOL WAS DONE SO THEY HAD SOME TIME TO BE W/ EACHOTHER AND THEN THIS HAPPEND ONE DAY)

"good morning, sho!" *yawns* "g-good morning zashi" "break fast is ready!" "I don't want to eat" then shouta sat beside hizashi on the couch leaning his head on Hizashi's shoulder and putting his hand his hizashi's hand. "Aw, you have t-" "I-I.. love you, zashi" shouta said while yawning and closing his eyes, "Wha-" Hizashi's eyes widened and then shouta realized what he said so he jumped off the couch, "OMG, OMG, NO I'M SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT-" shit shouta thought to himself after he said that to hizashi, but hizashi just smiled then chuckled, "you forgot to say, 'no homo?" or you just said that bc u were sleepy so you meant that" "tch" "I'm going to the bathroom" hizashi said. It had been 3 hours since hizashi never came out so shouta went and knocked but heard sobbing and something dripping, "zashi?....Zashiiiiiiiiii? HIZASHI ARE YOU OKAY?" he yelled then busted the door open to see hizashi cutting himself all over his wrist, "SHIT, HIZASHI! STOP!" "Why do you care?" he scoffed at him like shouta did in the past, "FUCK, HIZASHI STOP ACTING LIKE ME IN THE PAST, I'VE CHANGED! YOU TOLD ME A YEAR AGO THAT IF I DIDN'T CARE ABOUT MYSELF OR DIDN'T STOP YOU WOULD AND  I DON'T NEED TO WORRY, I WANT TO SAY THE SAME THING TO YOU! PLEASE, STOP!" "S-sho... How d-do..." *sighs* "Come here, let me explain" he said handing a bandaid to hizashi then walking to living room. The blond and ravenette both sat on the couch, shouta held Hizashi's hands and said, "I never lost my memory... I never even got the surgery because that one time you were asleep, I told you I loved you but I didn't think you heard. Nemuri told me that you told her that I like you. I did this act because you told Nemuri! I just wanted pay back! I still was coughing because we weren't 'official' but I didn't think you liked me, I thought you would be like 'no homo' or something... I'm sorry..." Then tears fell down shouta's face, "asshole, I love you like more then friends!!" then Hizashi pulled shouta into a kiss~ Shouta broke the kiss then said, "Well you already know, I love you" then the ravenette leaned his head against Hizashi's shoulder and put his hands in hizashi's. "It's to early for this" Shouta said then Hizashi giggled and leaned his own head with shouta's.
