As Onibaba began chasing after Aizawa, the Pro Hero began managed to climb to the roof the building. He looks down to see Onibaba closing in. Aizawa then begins running just as Onibaba reached the rooftop and began chasing after Aizawa. A chase soon begins on the rooftops with Onibaba chasing after Aizawa. As Onibaba chases after Aizawa, Aizawa surveys his surroundings. All he needed was the perfect place to fight Onibaba. Soon enough, he found himself on a rooftop to an abandoned apartment complex. Aizawa soon found himself cornered by Onibaba. 

Onibaba: Like a rat, you are cornered. 

Aizawa: That's what you think. 

Onibaba immediately takes note of Aizawa's words as she she readies her weapons. Aizawa readies his Combat Scarves and goes into a defensive stance. He waits for Onibaba to make the first move. Onibaba makes the first move by charging at Aizawa. As she goes for an overhead strike, Aizawa rolls out of the way. He follows through by wrapping his Combat Scarves around her legs. He then pulls on the scarves, causing Obibaba to fall. When she fell, Onibaba hits her head on a pipe, stunning her. Seeing his opportunity, Aizawa presses the attack and pins Onibaba to the ground. Onibaba was able to fight off Aizawa's assault and regains her footing. But as she does so, Aizawa is nowhere to be seen. 

Onibaba: You cannot hide from me, Aizawa. There is nowhere for you to run. 

As Onibaba searched the rooftop for Aizawa, Aizawa moves from cover to cover, flanking Onibana's position. Every movement Aizawa made was quick and precise. He knew that one misstep could cost him his life. As he carefully moves around Onibaba, Aizawa sees his opportunity. He jumps from his hiding place and lands a strong uppercut which knocks the assassin off her feet. Aizawa follows through by tackling her to the ground. As Aizawa lands several punches on Onibaba, Onibaba manages to once more fight off Aizawa's attacks. But as the fight continued, Aizawa began to slowly gain the upperhand on Onibaba. But Onibaba was not done yet. 

Aizawa: It's over, Onibaba. Stand down. 

Onibaba: The only way you'll stop me is if you kill me. Can you bring yourself to do that?

Aizawa: I'm bringing you to justice. 

With that, Aizawa and Onibaba resumed their fight. During the initial brawl, Onibaba lands a slash on Aizawa's back with her daggers. Aizawa retaliates by disarming Onibaba. He then tosses her daggers over the roof. 

Onibaba: You may have deprived me of my weapons, but I am still very much dangerous. 

With that, Onibaba lunges at Aizawa and attacks him. Aizawa maintains a strong defense as he continues to utilize the environment to his advantage. Slowly but surely, Aizawa breaks down Onibaba's defenses. When Onibaba goes for a left hook, Aizawa parries the attack and follows through with a big right hook which shatters her mask. As Onibaba is knocked to the ground, Aizawa approaches her. 

Aizawa: All right, Onibaba. Time for you to tell me....

But before Aizawa could finish his sentence, Onibaba turned her exposed face to Aizawa. Her face was heavily scarred with veins being visible on her face. Her eyes were pitch black. It was like staring into an abyss. 

Aizawa: What the....

Without warning, Onibaba lashed out at Aizawa and attacked him with speed and ferocity. Aizawa was caught off guard as he was put on the defensive. During their brawl, Aizawa and Onibaba traded blows with one another. 

Onibaba: You have seen my true face. You must die or I will be disgraced!

Aizawa continued to defend himself against Onibaba's onslaught. Onibaba's attacks became more unhinged. It was clear to Aizawa that Onibaba's mental state had deteriorated and her mask was the key to it. Aizawa maintained his defense until he saw an opportunity. As Onibaba went for a punch, Aizawa saw his opening and seized it. He lands a strike on Onibaba's stomach, stunning her. He then attacks Onibaba with a series of focused and fast paced strikes. When he lands the final strike, Onibaba was brought to her knees. Onibaba looks up at Aizawa as he approaches her. 

Onibaba: What are you waiting for? Finish it. Kill me.

Aizawa: I'm not here to kill you. 

Onibaba: My life has no meaning. You have bested me. You have seen my true face. Killing me would be a mercy. 

Aizawa: You're not getting off that easy, Onibaba. You have to answer for your crimes. 

Onibaba: You would show mercy on me? Look upon my face. You know what I am. Kill me. 

Aizawa: No. I'm not going to kill you. No matter what you did, you don't deserve to die. 

Onibaba was shocked by Aizawa's actions. Despite her many attempts to kill him, Aizawa still showed mercy. 

Onibaba: You are truly unlike any other I've ever met, Shota Aizawa. Not many have seen my face. Those who have recoil in fear of it. But you...you have shown me compassion that I have never known. 

Onibaba then gets up and looks Aizawa straight in his eyes. 

Onibaba: I will not ask you to tarnish yourself by killing me. But before we part ways, I have a final gift for you. The man who hired myself and the other assassins is Kira Matsumoto. This is goodbye. 

Obibaba then jumps off the building. Aizawa runs to try and catch her, but it was too late as he saw Onibaba's lifeless body on the ground. In the wake of Onibaba's suicide, Aizawa now had a name. He now knew the one responsible for putting the bounties on his head. Now it was time for him to end it.
