As night fell on the city, a gangster was in a safehouse counting money from illegal means. As he was counting, he heard footsteps.

Gangster: Who's out there?

The footsteps grew closer and closer. Sensing danger, the gangster pulls out a pistol and waves it around. Suddenly, a large cloud of smoke appears before the gangster. He sees a dark feminine silhouette.

???: Hideo Inuzuka. Your Angel of Death awaits.

Hideo: What the fuck?!

Hideo then begins shooting at the figure, but the bullets seem to phase through. The figure then walks from the smoke, revealing it to be the Phantasm.

Phantasm: It's time to pay for your sins.

The Phantasm then raised her bladed gauntlet and prepares to kill the gangster, but was restrained by Eraserhead's Combat Scarves.

Eraserhead: I think we need to have a talk about justice and murder.

Hideo: Eraserhead?! Sin of a.....

Before Hideo could finish his sentence, Eraserhead quickly knocked out the gangster. He then turned his attention to the Phantasm.

Phantasm: Do you realize who you saved?

Eraserhead: Hideo Inuzuka. A Yakuza lieutenant who dealt in drug dealing and arms trade.

Phantasm: He deserved death. How many lives did he ruin in the name of profit?

Eraserhead: That doesn't give us any right to kill him. He may be a scumbag, but that doesn't mean he deserves to die.

Phantasm: True justice must be exacted on those who do wrong. They all must meet their Angel of Death.

The Phantasm then cut through the Combat Scarves and began slashing at Eraserhead. The Pro Hero was able to dodge the attacks without much trouble.

Eraserhead: You got skill, I'll give you that. Looks like you admired the Hero Killer a little too much.

Phantasm: That is irrelevant in this moment. I am doing what must be done.

The Phantasm then shoots smoke from her gauntlet as a means of distracting Eraserhead. As the Phantasm attacks Eraserhead, the Pro Hero defends himself while analyzing the situation.

Eraserhead: (Phantasm isn't playing around. If I'm not careful, then I'm a goner.)

As Eraserhead made his conclusion, the Phantasm slashes at Eraserhead's arm.

Phantasm: This matter does not concern you, Eraserhead.

Eraserhead: It becomes my concern when you're trying to leave a body count. The law doesn't look too kindly to that.

Phantasm: The law is inadequate. Criminals like Inuzuka take advantage of the law and use it to their advantage. My solution is permanent.

Eraserhead: You're right about one thing. The system isn't perfect. But that doesn't give us the right to become judge, jury and executioner.

Phantasm: The ends justify the means.

Eraserhead: Where's the line drawn, Phantasm? How far is too far?

The Phantasm said nothing as she kept the attack on Eraserhead. Eraserhead kept his guard up while trying to find a weakness to exploit. The Phantasm proved to be a tenacious opponent.  As the fight dragged on, the Phantasm summoned smoke from her gauntlet and covers her escape. Eraserhead scans the area. 

Eraserhead: (Where are you?)

Eraserhead knew that the Phantasm wouldn't simply run away. He knew this was a diversion. As Eraserhead was checking his surroundings, the Phantasm was sneaking through the shadows and found herself next to the unconscious Hideo. 

Phantasm: Your Angel of Death awaits, Hideo.

As the Phantasm was about to kill the unconscious Hideo, Eraserhead quickly tackles her to the ground.

Eraserhead: Not bad, Phantasm. Almost outplayed me for a second.

The Phantasm then kicked Eraserhead off of her and got to her feet.

Phantasm: You left me no choice, Eraserhead. You stand in defense for someone who deserves death. Since you're so adamant in defending him, you will join him in death.

As the Phantasm calmly stated her intentions, Eraserhead prepared himself for a fight. The Phantasm then charged at Eraserhead and began slashing at him. Eraserhead was able to dodge the vigilante's attacks without complications. Soon enough, Eraserhead was able to gain the upper hand and deal an uppercut to the Phantasm. 

Eraserhead: Had enough?

The Phantasm quickly recovered and launched an aggressive attack on Eraserhead.  Eraserhead was able to wrap the Phantasm's gauntlet arm with his Combat Scarves and attempt to restrain her. 

Eraserhead: Game's over, Phantasm. Now I'll be taking you and Inuzuka to custody. Behave yourself and you might even share a cell with him. 

At this point, the Phantasm knew she was defeated. She would not be able to kill her intended target with Eraserhead protecting him. The Phantasm soon broke free from the Combat Scarves and raised her bladed gauntlet at Eraserhead. 

Phantasm: Very well Eraserhead. You may have protected this criminal, but you know I'm right. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. We will meet again, Eraserhead. 

As the Phantasm said this, smoke began rising from her bladed gauntlet. Soon enough, she was completely engulfed in smoke. Eraserhead attempts to tackle her, but he failed to connect. Eraserhead looks around to find her gone without a trace.

Eraserhead: Damn. She got away. 

Eraserhead walked over to Hideo Inuzuka who was slowly regaining consciousness. 

Hideo: Argh....my head. What the hell happened?

Hideo looks to see Eraserhead standing over him. 

Hideo: Aw shit! Not you again! 

Before Hideo could run off, Eraserhead knocks him out. 

Eraserhead: Should've stayed down. 

After that, Eraserhead tied down the unconscious Hideo with his Combat Scarves and left an anonymous tip for the authorities. Eraserhead then exits the safe house and resumes his patrol of the city.
