Spellbinder
While on his patrol of the city, Eraserhead investigates a series of strange robberies. Eraserhead's investigation leads him to a museum. He soon saw the curator looting priceless museum pieces. Seeing this confused Eraserhead, but it didn't raise too much concerns as he approached the curator.
Eraserhead: Isn't it a little late for you?
The curator then turned to Eraserhead. With fear in his eyes, he reached for an umbrella and pointed it at Eraserhead.
Curator: Demon! Stay away from me, demon!
The curator's words confused Eraserhead as he began swinging his umbrella at the Pro Hero. Eraserhead was able to quickly disarm the curator and takes him down.
Eraserhead: Demon? The hell was that about?
Suddenly, he heard heavy footsteps running behind him. Eraserhead turned around to see a Villain wearing a full body suit with a red and black swirl pattern. Eventually, Eraserhead corners him.
Eraserhead: Now it all makes sense. Leave it to you to make a scene, Spellbinder.
Spellbinder: Can you really blame me? I'm simply helping myself to my well deserved reward.
Eraserhead: I don't have time for this. I'm taking you in.
Spellbinder: Is that so? Perhaps your mind needs a little readjustment.
As Spellbinder said that, he pulled out his Eyeball Device and shined it on Eraserhead. The bright light initially blinded him. When he regained his composure, Eraserhead found himself in a graveyard.
Eraserhead: What the.....
Eraserhead looked around and saw no trace of Spellbinder. Despite this, Eraserhead kept himself ready.
Eraserhead: Keep hiding behind your illusions, Spellbinder. I'm taking you down.
Spellbinder(Voice): I'm glad your heroics make you feel superior, but you haven't caught me yet!
As the voice of Spellbinder said this, grotesque looking Zombies began popping out of the ground. They soon growled at Eraserhead and surrounded him.
Eraserhead: Zombies. How predictable. You're going to have to do better than that.
Spellbinder(Voice): You Heroes are all alike! With all that power, you've let your egos inflate to absurd proportions. Ha!
Eraserhead: Keep talking, Spellbinder. It won't work on me.
Suddenly, the Zombies began attacking Eraserhead. The Pro Hero defended himself from the Zombies. Back in reality, Eraserhead was throwing punches in the air while Spellbinder watches in amusement. Spellbinder then picks up a baseball bat and proceeds to hit Eraserhead in the back, sending him to the ground. In that moment of hesitation, the Zombies swarmed Eraserhead and tackled him to the ground.
Spellbinder: What's he matter Hero? Feeling overwhelmed?
Eraserhead was starting to get overwhelmed, but Eraserhead soon broke free and began defending himself.
Eraserhead: (At this rate, I'll tire myself out before I can make a dent! I need to take down Spellbinder if I'm going to break this illusion!)
Eraserhead then focuses on the area around him. He waited until he heard some kind of disturbance that would give Spellbinder's position away. He then heard rapid footsteps coming his way. Acting on instinct, he sets himself up in a blocking position. This maneuver protects him from another attack by Spellbinder. Eraserhead then kicks in front of him which sends Spellbinder back.
Spellbinder(Voice): Lucky shot, Eraserhead. But don't forget who's in control here!
Eraserhead then focuses his senses again and waits for an opportunity. Spellbinder then picks up an antique spear and prepares to impale Eraserhead, but Eraserhead was able to grab the spear and hits Spellbinder in the face with it. He then followed the moans and uses his Combat Scarves to disorient Spellbinder, causing him to trip over and inadvertently breaking the Eyeball device. Soon enough, the illusion was broken and Eraserhead found himself back at the museum.
Eraserhead: Now that's better. Where were we?
Spellbinder: Not bad, Eraserhead, I underestimated you. I won't do so again!
Spellbinder then charges at Eraserhead and begins attacking him, but Eraserhead easily reads Spellbinder's attacks and counters them.
Eraserhead: Guess I see why you use illusions.
Spellbinder: That's the problem with you Heroes. You expect brute force to win you the day. That kind of thinking will only lead you down an unsavory path.
Eraserhead: Save it for the police. I don't have time to be lectured by some disgruntled psychologist.
Spellbinder: Disgruntled? I'll show you disgruntled!
Eraserhead and Spellbinder then engages in a fist fight.
Spellbinder: You're no better than the snot nosed punks who's parents pay me to fight off their demons and pay me next to nothing! I'm merely taking what I have earned!
Spellbinder continues to attack Eraserhead, but the Villain proved no mated for the seasoned Pro Hero. At this point, Spellbinder quickly realized that Eraserhead outclassed him. Spellbinder then blindsides Eraserhead by kicking him in the face. As Eraserhead staggered, Spellbinder took the opportunity and began running for the exit. Eraserhead then begins chasing Spellbinder though the building. Eventually, Spellbinder reached the exit with his loot, but Eraserhead wrapped his Combat Scarves around his ankle.
Spellbinder: No! I won't let you take me in!
Eraserhead: Cry to your thearapist.
Eraserhead then proceeds to knock out Spellbinder. He then checks on the curator.
Curator: What....what happened?
Eraserhead: Spellbinder happened. He used his illusions to get you to steal the artifacts from this museum. But I managed to stop him before any damage was done.
Curator: T...thank you, Eraserhead!
After checking on the curator, Eraserhead walks back over to the unconscious Spellbinder and ties him up with his Combat Scarves. Eraserhead then leaves an anonymous tip for the police to pick up Spellbinder. He then exits the museum to resume his patrol of the city.
