Chapter 27: Little Proof

Uzumaki remained a proud associate of their sister clan, all could attest to their high regard of their warrior relatives. Although it was well documented as a pride, unto any who bore witness to said influence born by so-called regard would sound out a slight mockery. Both- to any who thought that an accurate description, and unto the Uzumaki for their poor concealment.

Nonetheless, in lack of appreciation, the Senju made investment in marriage with their red-headed cousins. This; in respect of their family members, distant though they may be an expected shared form of familial respect would drive their ancestors unto good deed. An unfortunate misconception brought upon by their unbefitting optimistic nature.

The Uchiha living among them however had a much more wary view. Within their opinion the Uzumaki were a clanship in a type of reformality, as they were yet uncertain of their morality. In addition, pacifistic in mindset: A dangerous perception unto the Uchiha's regard, as it only bore fruit of destruction, for certainly, a belief of peace before all would only dismantle all life.

Even in their own take of caution, Alpha Uchiha accepted carefully the possible placement of an Omega fighting alongside warriors for the protection of the children and clan. Careful, for the need of healers remained; a role an Uchiha born Alpha could not fill, as their chakra was inappropriately incompatible with any but their own-selves.

Nevertheless, a letter was written by the Hokage's Assistant; Tobirama. And sent, summoning an Uzumaki Omega for the role of delegate and wife. Disregarding any warning which came in turn of cautionary knowledge, be that from clan married consorts, or the Uchiha who disliked the Senju descendants upon the bases of an old grudge, therein inherited. In particular, a nervous response had come most prominent from the Uchiha Matriarch, and having been an Uzumaki in previous himself, it was a begrudgement none within the Senju had understood, and those members of his own adoptive clan were largely uncertain of his reasonings.

--------------------

Further: the Haruno clan had arrived as possible allies under request, though their apprehension was largely visible for all inside the village to witness.

In an understanding of this, Uchiha Naru came to the guests as a form of comfort unto frazzled minds. Privately wandering if all of the healing orientated clan had a pinkened hair tone as his own friendship from past. Albeit, the consideration wasn't one taken with amassed pondering as any serious thought made. His was a goal of kind conjuncture, an attempt for the purpose of provoking well placed inclination between their clans.

"Good evening." He greeted, as it appeared their potential allies were enjoying the moonlight upon the patto of their provided residence. A night of enjoying the starshine with their fellows with a serious express upon each of their faces. Though Madara had informed him priour that most of the clan were not well versed in the particulars of battle, the Haruno took a defensive stance while receiving his arrival.

Enough for the shinobi to take a cautionary position himself, though not in threat, as he was determined to remain himself a messenger of peace.

Hopeful for a brief moment that they would be as simple as Sakura Haruno had been. Though infringed by the expectant doubt; they were not made weakened in mindset by the thought of a boy on their team whom held their romantic interest. At least, Naru had the consideration this was not a fact he could put any faith into. Along that play of thought, he did make to assume those of Haruno inheritance would have some kind of intense intellect, as his own friend of the same origin had. This is why he took to presenting them with the Uchiha bow in further showcase of his harmless intent. Indeed, it was why he had come forward with his hair raining down his back to where it now ended at his upper thighs; a rather subtle display that fighting was not his desire.

Upon that visual a noted calm descended onto the uncomfortable -potential,- allies. With their two fighters making an effort to relax their weapons from a steal made protective grip. Under the more soothing atmosphere conjured, Naruto could not ignore -going so far as to publically giggle at the revelation that four of their members did in fact possess a form of pink toned hair. That is with the understanding there was a mere six of them in total.

Their leader pronounced himself as one of the only fighters, with a pair of tento on either side of his waist. With shoulder length -familiar- rose coloured pink hair, and dark green eyes of fern toned leaves.

Oddly, Naru had to see the obvious beauty he bore, not in the same manner as the brown nature born Hokage. Though the Haruno male was clearly an Omega, indeed, Naruto noted keenly now: with a more alined mindset to Madara's antique thought of Omega positioning. Perhaps not the same in conduct, but, it was similar enough to start a protective -possessive, nature unexpected from the sunflower toned Uchiha bride. That type of consideration hadn't occurred in speaking with the beauticious Senju.

Even so, it was a consideration unnecessary, as the Haruno man had only met with his Homupowa in a short greeting at the entrance way this very morning. Regardless, a stale dislike -herein brought upon by a self-doubt, unneeded,- manifested within Uchiha Naru at the mere possibility, only made feasible with the simple fact that they were alive and within the same area. A petty jealousy, which Naruto tried to quash unsuccessfully with the understanding of his husband's devout personality.

The jealousy remained, in the future knowledge of Madara abandonment in spite of his current loyalist tendencies.

A manifestation congregated, a fear: What if Madara had left the Village for an Omega unnamed or unknown? If he had procured a love outside of the borders, a torrid affair?

"You belong to the Uchiha yes?" The abrupt voice startled him from the spiralling conspiracy. In lieu of formal presentation, he gave a smile made to charm and confirmed as best as he may with his head uncentered with wild conceiveabilities; not proven, or based on any fact.

------------------------

In puzzlement inside the confines of his own mentality, Naru came to return with a downturned face, and an expression pinching of confusion. Naturally -as was his nature of slight pessimism- his husband took this as a bad omen speaking only of negative news. Therefore, Madara made to approach his bride with a determined set thought process, in finding the cause for soiled negotiations. Then was given a glance upwards with shaken iries and uncertainty clouding all facial features.

"Do you know that Tobirama-kun is seeking a bride within the Uzumaki heritage?" An unexpected conversation began, and Madara did his best not to blink in surprise at the strange choice so made. Though, a petty regard informed him; the reasoning for this decision was merely Tobirama equalizing himself to how Madara stood now: superior with a bride. Indeed, an Uzumaki bride, neither of which the childish Senju had.

Still, despite his urge to let a laugh out which boiled within, Madara refrained. It was obvious this was not the puzzlement Naru faced. Despite this, the Patriarch allowed the conversation to be carried, rather then push for a true answer. "Whom? For what purpose?" He made to inquire. Naru bit into the question eagerly, all while taking possession of Madara's arm in escort and forcing a closeness which made walking forward a slight challenge.

"I don- do not know, it is political in nature though." A snort escaped him, it was a long held belief of his that the stone faced man would marry for a gain rather then emotion. Naru gave him reproach through a look of the eye but said nothing to the rivalry, having long grown accustomed to it. Perhaps he could perceive it as an adaptation, but Madara remained more then; Naru's eyes were firm on the ground while his hand was attempting to find a pocket nonexistent, incompassed in whatever had already preoccupied his mind prior to their conversation.

Late in the evening, nearing the sun's closing, and Uchiha almost found himself stearing them towards night retirement. Then abruptly recalled they had one more call to make while the day prevailed.

"Naru." He recieve are bare twitch in response. "You realize, Hashirama is expecting us." He phrased it not as a question. They had spoken of it in the early morning. While still blessed with the warming bed, and a naked embrace. It came across Madara's mind swiftly; Naru had every likelihood to have forgotten, his mind was oftentimes away from rationality.

The assent he received was a tightening on his arm and then a forceful downwards tilt; due to their height difference, his bride near jumping forward in remembrance. Though even having somewhat been brought to clear thought, a look remained obvious on the over exuberant face of Uchiha Naru.

Then: "Sasuke you jerk! You could have at least reminded me!"

Perhaps this was by all his previous deep thought Madara supplied to himself. Regardless, his step stalled, arms remaining firmly crossed. Already a confusion intermingling with a vague misting doubt, making shadow within him of a possibility unreasoned. "Sasuke?"

The flush of the face before him convinced the Uchiha of the embarrassment made by an accidental twist of the mind, still, a look of fondness had followed rather quickly. Conclusively: Sasuke was indeed a real individual, despite Naru haven spoken out of habitual experience then actual intent. Madara remained near entirely unimpressed by this revelation.

Unusually a mistake had caused the moon a visual display of crude behaviour by two Uchihas. Upon return to the Uchiha district a silence had befallen them, mainly begun by the elder of the couple, retaining a cold demeanour, now projected towards his bride, a silent argument. Maintained by both with a refusal to acknowledge each other's presence openly. None bore witness to this as the hour was late and no one had kept themselves awakened apart from the regular patrolling and scouting groups; this served as a benefit.

While just about to curve to enter their home, the one most discomforted by darkness grasped on his husband's arm with a nearly clawed grip. Flicking their eyes to meet despite the lack of light: The Alpha's eyes were kept by obsidian night obscured, but while under direct moonlight they shimmered crimson. At the moment blaring a glare speaking clear his emotions.

Naru however, was not in the disposition to care of the obvious anger. "Be angry at me all you like Madara, but at least tell me why." He received a huff in return. "Sasuke?" This had the arm he held tense, and the answer was given in plain body language. For many minutes of silence followed once again, this time invoked by the beauticious Uchiha in process. For as his awareness brought him, remembrance of his friendship with Sasuke had never been received well. Many persons whom he had knew at the time had thought it odd, abnormal even for an Omega to maintain such a disbalanced relationship with an Alpha.

Regardless, even to one with the oblivious nature as Naruto, this was an understandable ire. "He was a friend of mine a long time ago-" he contemplated, but decided his next words important to the integrity of himself and the conversation in general. "-Uchiha Sasuke." That had a response, with the Patriarch turning sharply, and the Matriarch therein releasing the arm in his hold.

"Sasuke. I believe I would recall such a name."

Crossing his arms in quick thought. There was still a sting to the air around the couple, neither having resolved their vexations.

"I doubt it, he was made rogue." Should a glare ever be received as a proper response, the Uchiha would have made it into law. "Whatever you are considering now, no, I had no romantic interest towards him." Sparked by his own irritation the jinchuriki stepped forward, standing underneath the fire lit eyes of his husband rather then challenging them directly. "I'll prove it."
