Chapter 24: Calm Morn
"-Ensnared as a prisoner forever entrapped within a seal of cruel design. Constripting upon me an eternal title. To be faithful unto you, I have all the bearings of a demon, should this cause you harm, or indeed, should you find disgust whence alongside me I will bare you no begrudgement. Our relationship need not continue forth as one of matrimonies in presentation of such revelation. I am not ignorant of mine own status as a man of distrust in regard to this information, nor am I foolish enough to consider you may continue to hold appreciation -affection, unto me now... I do hope you will at least see me as human enough to-" A moment of pause gave all to each of them. Omega and Alpha Uchiha alike breathing deeply, a fast-paced panic of fear coiled tight. The other, a blinking uncertainty intermingled with confusion profound in an equal measure of fear. Neither had the same reason for their distilling trepidation shared.
Nor did either rest in the same posturing. A bow with long overlapping golden hair cascading over tri-angled arms and hands, before such: a rigidity attributed to wood, an unintended dedication as became the Alpha aforementioned.Withall mention, the most prominent thought which became coherent out jumped to vibalization without intent.
Madara did come to regret with such fluidity, guilt befell him swift in manner of all deaths upon his conscious. "You, are not possessed by the spirit of the demon yes? You remain separate beings?" By all wording, he chastised his own lack of foresight and conduct, fore none had retained in a sentence so crudely managed.
Outside, astray were the fragile remnants of twilight. Contrast of their begone counterparts of dawn. Dusk had emblacked a previous morn of brightened warmth- now far in memory. Distilled perhaps by mourning's distortion, though quelled by high marriage bringing forth hopeful tidings unto a clan in tragic mind. Time now Madara heeded, as it had made him the fool to think in happiness. Presently, time attributed dawn unto joy, dusk- indeed twilight- for woe.
A provocation he recognized well, and intended to ignore the inducement by straying himself unto the opposing action she -time- prompted for. Rising away from seated position and grasping the arm of his still bowed bride. Impetus, not in negative direction, here he gave unto instinct. Forming himself not as a leader, conducting as a man grappled by love, in this he perished all appropriate action of caution: "What care have I then? You are my Hanayome, keep reign upon the beast and I have no qualms."
Casting to glow came a lingering ray of sun, between them two near a sign of approval by Amaterasu herself. Captured by Naru's hair, and made luminant, while his own absorbed all and retained it a warmth. "Do you love me Madara?"
"You question my conviction?" Came the inline mocking he made only when comfortable. His bride took it in stride, a smile embrightening him once more. Far more welcomed then the desperation having been worn moments before.
"Ha, no..." A flattering red came over the tanned visage. Striving Madara to force thoughts into civility. "I was hoping you could show me the strength of your conviction tonight?"Heat responded by flaring up upon him. Seeminglyby progressing downward from his sharingan, as he was a man of frigid aura.
"Certainly," censoring found ill-needed, he offered a hand aiding his bride to stand and fixed the shimmering gaze to his own -one he expected to be smoldering in repressed passion. To have a beauticious Omega desiring, indeed requesting intimacy, what Alpha of emotion could ignore such a temptation? -Internally he jested: Tobirama in his stoicism-
------------------------------
Drift away, Naruto found himself in a set state, adrift by the morning light awakening. Floating along by the guidance of physical light. Held warm, and holding tight, the man he had married. Not for the first time as they had been wed nearly three days as of yet. Alas, the displaced Omega was far more tranquil this day, his second morn awoken by his husband, his first following an impassioned night. Furthermore, he was no longer strained, made peaceful by lack of towering stress, unburdened by secrets kept. He could now breathe without trial, sleep at ease with the cold body of his Homupowa beside him.
"Sleep well?" He gazed, still partially adrift, into the grey in darkened, nearly blue eyes of Uchiha Madara. Noticing, rather absent of thought, and uncaring of his own sentimentality, the man's voice became gruff when still gripped by dreams. By the dignity the Uchiha possessed, Naruto found himself almost amused by ponderance of his own tone in the morning.
"The best in years." A true admittance, as when in Konoha he was always paranoid a neighbor would come to attack, sleeping half-awake in the night. He had found better rest when in a camp away from the confines of the village. Though, then he had the same burdening thought in considering the Akatsuki, or enemy shinobi in generalistic terms. Thankful, he became unrestrained and placed a tender kiss to the sharp jawline before him. "You?"
A chuckle came from his husband, rather tired, but affectioned.
"There were places I remember, that have changed, some forever, not for the better. All have moments with family and friends, I still can recall. In my life: I've loved them all. Of all these places, friends, and family- I know I shall never lose affection for these places and things that came before, I am certain I will often pause to think about them. Yet, in my life, I believe, I shall love you more."
A ridiculous appearance came to him then, Naruto knew. One of childlike reverence he could not bid himself to persecute. Instead, taking only to kiss the man before him, and indulging in the grace this morning had presented him.
"I feel... Good," He said once pulled free, parted an embrace he had come vested in with a mindset equal to that of a overlusting woman. Madara -beneath his body, had raised an eyebrow in typical manner of Uchiha self indulgence -humour or otherwise.- Naru had found himself accustomed to this though he was less amused given the comforting moment."no, in a special way!" That was all he came to depict fore embarrassment swept upon him for the inelegance he thought to be extinguished far previous to this moment. As the implication came to him, a tide of energy overwhelmed, and he made haste to dress, straying eyes from he whom he had spent the night with. Wed or not, Naruto at least held onto a form of modesty, even prior to the events imparted last evening. Embarrassed by conduct of self and spouse, regardless he still put the flower over his ear.
Near, the man he had been entranced by was standing to the sliding balcony doors, white fingers half covered and glowing by the early light. Displaying himself a man of morning in softened features likely never shown unto any but closest kin. "The sun is shining down, quite invigorated this morn." Little else was said, though neither desired voluptuous conversation. It was merely an observance to the shared disposition.
As he took to preparing breakfast a knock sounded as an echo throughout. The rice he had ready put down and curiosity took his feet naturally. Stood before him was the older appearance of Hikaku, a man he had met only in brief encounter. An Uchiha who was in fact elder then his husband, possessing an advanced experience from afore whence the entire clan had been stricken in war with the Senju. An acting adviser for Madara he remained, though the new Hanayome would bet three bowls of fresh ramen that he had been for Madara's Father in addition. This for the retention and professionalism displayed visually by his deportment. Alas to that point of acknowledgement, Naruto was aware persons within this time frame were subjected unto a shorter life-span then his own. Though he knew not how long was average for a veteren, he would take to the assumption Hikaku -though in good health- had only half a decade to spare in his age.
Avoiding the consideration in turn of how long Madara held in tandem. Or himself upon that thought, continually refracting within his mind. Oblivious, his guest gave bow in respectful turn, ignorant in regard to Naru's own mentality distracted by incordenant fears. Rescued promptly by the Uchiha within, in a tower form above him. Power uncertain in contrast, Naruto could not speak clear unto each -he or Madara, whom held largest levels of chakra, or indeed magnitude by mass. Nonetheless, the man behind him provoked the most intimidating stance.
"Hikaku-san. A report?" Even in looking between them and knowing well the mannerisms of Uchiha, Naruto could not distinguish a clear expression made by either. In relative comparison, he had grown rather accustomed by personality displayed in minimalist fashion by those of his clan. Yet still, that could not prepare him for the begrudgement he harboured whence his husband did it in commonality directly before his sight.
Though the expectation that Madara should change upon their marriage made Naru take upon some guilt. For all he knew, abstracted as that may be in all to be known of a clan so sternly set, for all he knew, Madara had yet to display himself fully unto his eyes. There remained such allusion cast over him that even an experienced shinobi could not grasp onto what hid beneath the imaginative cast. Naru had wandered in brief seclusion if any from within the Uchiha could, or had attempted such a trial.
"Hai, an evaluation of the west border, an interesting sighting you should be made aware of." In intent of training himself proper with political proceedings and clan conduction, Naruto forced his awareness to absorb all he could. Upon understanding that should Madara be gone for a reason, then Naru knew he would become the primary point of contact for all issues in relation unto the clan. Knowledge made by his own education would be a necessary venture, for the protection of all he bore representation of now.
By the wording Madara's attention increased, it did not hold the implication of a potential threat, yet something was certainly amiss. "A clan sighting?" A malicious drop befell his voice then, clearly a problem not ideal. Of course, that was to be an expected grievance. At this, they both took to the outdoors, taking warmth and not huddling inside. Naru expected a busy schedule for one such as the Patriarch, alongside himself as Matriarch, naturally, knowing the specifics of his duties or not.
"Hai. I did receive word that you were discussing an alliance of sorts with the Haruno, or at least a negotiation by that standard. Thus, I envisioned a sighting of the Haruno clan near us would not stooke your caution. However, to the East-most side of the Western border there was a skirmish with a member of the Kiniki clan. Furthermore, they were fighting as pair, aside another: a member of the Hyuuga clan." Limited understanding invoked herself upon him once more, he knew not the relation his clan held with the Hyuuga. Nor was he aware of their relation in previous within his time afore, as when he had been eld enough to know they had all been slain. Hinata had never shared opinions of them, indeed word in general. Neji had said near nothing -though he had no consideration towards Sasuke as Naruto could recall.- Focused upon his own trial within the branching family, and his disdain unto his own core kin.
Still, he did at least pertain enough sense to know two together would cause only havok. Processing of no mind for governing force, at the moment, he knew at least two enemy clans in close proxy when beginning peace talks unto another would serve only to frighten. Especially as they were a family made of healers and marketers.
Shouldn't they -as a settlement- not present as a stabilization force for others as enticement? Perhaps that task was merely one of impossibility, or high challenge, given the strain faced by the Uchiha in surviving within a secluded environment with relative safety.
"The Hyuuga collaborating with the Kiniki... Surely they would simply resort unto their regular cannibalism. Certainly the Hyuuga would hold a base knowledge of their ally, indeed the methods they partake." Within himself, Madara had taken to mumbling possibilities inaudible unto a regular ear such as his own, or Hikaku's, as he turned to grasp Naru's gaze -much to his surprise.
"Naru-sama, perhaps you could give this report to Hashirama-sama? I must prepare further patrols by Madara-sama's order." An order referenced, to which, Naruto had not the luxury of hearing, though he was given no time of questioning before the Uchiha gave bow and left swift in a jump most graceful unto the rooftops. Meanwhile, behind him in rigid posture stood his husband firm in appearance, moreso in the proceedings of his mind, so distracted by calamity.
There was little else for him to do but make way, so he did. Taking along with him the distracted man whom could not even take note he was not within his own home anymore. Instead, they were making pace through the market section, a place Naruto found comforting familiarity within, and a fresh new of the yet untrodden cobblestone dirt path. In inappropriate assumption he had taken to holding Madara's arm without a proper escorting brace. Though he had equal presumption none would question him upon it given his spouses regular stoic disposition of reclusive emotion.
Despite the tranquility of the day, alas, the sun above, it could be clear unto any onlooker the leader of the Uchiha was troubled. In his own need of resting easy the minds of those about him, he made bold and nudged a large side. "Nee, Mada- if you look so serious people are going to get worried. We'll figure it out." It was a ridiculous method, but it had effect. Sterling the man away from panicked thoughts of enemies banking, and instead, he began to ease his muscles with his new bride attached onto his arm.
"I wandered upon first meeting you, why you had a Chakra which burned alongside one of warmth. Hashirama did say it cruel. You conflict greatly as an oxymoron upon yourself." Naru did not pretend to sport the understanding of a word complex upon his own nature of education. Though, it had wording and implication inherit of an insult, so he gave a pout rather then an answer. In consideration however, he understood that what he had told of his burden had been a part of the wording chosen.
Casting him as correct Naru said nothing to this. He had known for a long time silently that Madara loved him, though it was an expression he could not give easily. In return, he worded nothing unto the man, therein for both, a serenity of mind in calm understanding of another.
Then they reached the building. Standing within glory, a beauty of brown cascading hair colouring the wind. As expected, the Hokage came forward in turn, brightly smiling upon them as he did so, greeting in kind manner. Naru lost himself in a moment of wonder, pondering at how the man could retain such a soothing tone of browns on his person without issue. Even within his eyes shimmered the tones of darkened and rich soil.
Once more a nerve came onto him, as Madara and Hashirama spoke in well meaning trivialities.
"Ah Naru-san, a lovely flower you wear! Complimenting your golden hair perfectly." Naturally his kindness befell him, instead of the ire Naruto would have expected from the Senju. At the very least for wedding a man so clearly suited for himself. "What manner of blossom is it?"
With an opportunity to showcase his growing knowledge unto his husband, he found an encasing smile erupt. "This is a crimson chrysanthemum, it's Madara's flower actually." It had been in a grouping of them on the counter this morning upon waking. For what reason he knew not, though he had to assume Madara had brought them. Even so, he hadn't seen them the night previous, and the man had been with him all of the last moon, morning too.
Naru knew not when they were brought in, or why. But, he still found beauty in them, and a gracious gratitude to his husband for the random beauty bestowed in their house;
A reason why he had grown them along with herbs inside his apartment, for the light they put to his ugly surroundings. Now he was within a clan who respected them, as himself, a husband who understood the gentle beauty of a flower rather then declaring it a thing only for a woman or fragile Omega to enjoy, it came to him in opinion as the very expression of peace unto his mind. That is: Commonality.
Of course, rather discrimitorially unto those of his own gender, he had imagined Hashirama would be well knowledged in such. In opposition though, he had a curious expression of one uneducated. "I'm surprised a man of nature such as yourself wouldn't know." He made the remark as humour, further as a compliment. Man of intellect or not the Senju flew past the intent near entirely.
"Well, I had been taken by fighting techniques at the time, swamped in fact, I hardly had time-" He continued unhalted by man or circumstance in defence of himself. Naru became near fooled by the conduct to think his wording was indeed one of voluptuous insults. Reassurance came moments later in form of an Uchiha, the very one beside him as it were.
In swift Madara gave shout, snapping his friend away from the tarade he had begun. "Hashirama!" Within the time span taken for a leaf to fall onto the dust there was a silence, even upon the street with onlookers. All giving that moment of shock and distillment attention, before they wondered back onto day routines. Irritation between the two leaders by Naruto's eyes was a well practised affair not uncommon, even upon the roads. "He spoke in compliment you complete fool." Something pink alit onto the Hokage's face, and promptly Naru found a sudden bow facing him.
Once more the man's personality promptly changed. Alongside not knowing how to deal with the abrupt situation, beside Madara appeared to be laughing, that is, in the Uchiha manor. That is, smirking and letting forth the most brief of chuckle in the entirety of Konoha.
In response Hashirama made a dramatic motion, kicking out the tall legs before him in a sweep with ease. It had both Omega's fall into laughter.
