All Sunday yesterday, Applejack has tried her hardest to try and apologize to Rainbow Dash for what happen at the reunion. She tried calling her ten times, and she texted her twenty. She even went over to her house and only saw her stepmom.
Applejack doesn't know what to do. She can't blame Rainbow for being mad, but se couldn't miss school like last time, right?
"I guess I kinda deserve her yelling." She said as she and the rest of her friends were walking up to their school being ready.
"Oh heavens no." Rarity said. "I mean, she may have helped you, but when you're lost in love, there's no reason to be mad."
"Yeah, but on Saturday she was pretty upset." Fluttershy said.
"Okay!" Pinkie stopped them all and got in front of Fluttershy's face. "Why are you wearing that? You don't wear long sleeves."
Unfortunately Fluttershy wasn't wearing her usual white tank top. She was wearing a black long sleeve shirt. It was really dirty but she didn't care.
"I just thought it be bet to wear this." She answered rubbing her arm softly.
"But you look like you were in the trash."
"And you do look a bit tired darling?" Rarity said noticing something off too. "Did you not sleep good last night?"
"No. Not really." She yawned and suddenly she sneezed.
"Bless you." They said.
"Thank you."
"Don't worry. Maybe the school will let you go home early since you're sick."
"NO!"
Everyone looked shocked. Fluttershy's voice has never been that loud before. And today, she looked frighten when Rarity said she could go home.
"I mean, I want to go home. I'll have a lot of make-up work."
"We can just help you with it."
"No." Sunset Shimmer said walking to Fluttershy and placed her hand on her shoulder. "I think it's best she stays. I mean, she's not suppose to miss any days of school."
"Why not?" Pinkie asked. "You're never absent." But then she got into Fluttershy's face with a suspicious look on her face. "OR, you're not the real Fluttershy!"
"No I am. I'm suppose to stay at school no matter what so I don't miss anything important. It's hard to explain."
The others still didn't understand. But they went along with the whole thing.
"Well okay." Applejack said. "But if any of you see Rainbow, tell her I want to talk to her."
Everyone agreed and went inside as the bell began to ring.

Even though she got into loads of trouble of missing school, Rainbow didn't care. She tried to get herself sick so she would have an excuse to say home, but her dad wouldn't let her miss a day. He would need proof of she was sick.
The only she's been instead of the bathroom, was the top of the building. Hopefully no one can find her up there, cause who would?
She didn't really do much. She kept thinking, holding her tears, fixing her broken heart, and was looking at photos of all the times she and Applejack had have together.
Then she had an idea to finish her song she was writing. She grabbed the notebook, and had a pencil in her hand. Then she began writing:

Rainbow did her hardest to think of other lyrics but couldn't think of anything at the moment, so she put away her note book and pencil and look back into the sky.
She began to think of how her song would go over and over again. Almost everything about the song represented Applejack. Her blond hair, her green eyes, everything special about her. She could even imagine her as a princess on some levels.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a strange voice behind her. "So I'm guessing you've been having it rough here huh?"
Rainbow didn't recognized the voice at first and she didn't care to know who it was. "Yeah. I guess I have."
"Although, don't you think it's bad to miss class? School is vey important."
"Yeah and so is love, but do you her me whining?"
"I get your feelings for Applejack are strong and you're not probably in the mood to talk to anyone, but will you at least let me see you again."
Rainbow began to be annoyed of whoever this was, so let it out. "Listen, I don't have time to talk to anyone." She stood on her feet and turned around with her eyes close, trying to hide her face. "And if you're just gonna..." But then she was cut off when she saw of who it was. She was so surprise, she was speechless.
"T-T-Twilight?"
"Hey Rainbow Dash." She waved at her friend.
She couldn't believe Twilight was back. It was so long for her to come back to say hi. She ran to Twilight and decided to give her hug.
She pulled away and said "I haven't seen you in forever. How's your life of being a princess?"
"Pretty good. My castle is finally feeling like home with the tree memories my friends made back in Equestria."
"It's awesome to see you again Twi."
"It's is. Although, I'm more concern of how you're doing with your feelings for Applejack."
Her frowned showed up. "Yeah. It's been..." But then she realized something. "Hey, how did you know I had feeling problems with Applejack?"
"Sunset Shimmer wrote to me your were having problems and you two were fighting a lot and ask me to come here to help out."
Rainbow was a little mad. Why would Sunset Shimmer tell Twilight this? She should have never told her about her feelings when the slumber party happen.
"Maybe, I've had a few problems." She admitted blushing pink.
"Sunset Shimmer said you've both been fighting, hurting each other, and then suddenly you go black and depress by getting detention, whatever that is."
".... maybe that's happen a few times."
Twilight waited for her to give her a reason. So she finally gave it in. "Okay, it's been pretty bad."
"Rainbow Dash, I understand that having feelings that are strong are great and hard to handle, but you do know of you're so rude to Applejack it would only start to get worse?"
She didn't respond. She felt so embarrassed they were talking about this.
"Trust me, love is a great feeling, but you can't show it with yelling and fighting. You show it by being there for the person no matter what."
"I know. But how Applejack decides to ignores me and pretend that I didn't do anything, I just lose it. I guess I do go over broad with it."
Twilight smiled and placed her hand on Rainbow's shoulder. "I am surprise you feel this way Rainbow. When did you started to like Applejack?"
"Actually, it was right when you came into our world. When Applejack asked me to showed the team to show up for her Bake Sale, I started to like Applejack more and have weird fantasies about her and me. And I started to think there might be a future. But when I thought she cancelled on me, I guess you can say I was a little bit angry. So... basically when you came around."
Twilight smiled at her friend as she blushed telling this to her. "Well soon, you do gotta say something, cause people are getting a little suspicious, according to Sunset Shimmer."
"Yeah. Remind me to kick her butt when I get the chance." She joked.
Twilight only laughed at Rainbow's silliness.
Suddenly, a voice appear, almost scaring the two girls. "Um, Rainbow Dash?"
They turn back to the person, surprised to see her sanding behind a part of the building. The girl looked a little worried but also full of pride. Rainbow and Twilight weren't in the mood to see her.
"For the hundred time Trixie, I'm not lesbian for you." Rainbow said, knowing what she would say.
"I that Rainbow Dash." She rolled her eyes. "But the great and powerful Trixie.... Wants to invite you to my birthday party this Saturday." She said calmly as she handed Rainbow Dash a big invitation.
She don't really read it and only wanted to know. "Why?"
"Well, I know this sounds stupid, and if you tell anyone, I'll denied it, but I felt pretty bad for you last Tuesday when you were crying in the bathroom."
Rainbow remember that. Trixie was really annoying that time.
"And I guess I thought that inviting you to one of my parties might make you feel better."
"A party? Of your birthday? I don't know."
"You am invite anyone you want. Besides, Pinkie Pie is helping with my party by setting the decorations."
"Hey how is Pinkie Pie?" Twilight asked before forgetting.
"She's crazy, as always." Then Rainbow looked back at Trixie, then the invitation. "Well, I guess a party won't be that bad. You better not do any tricks to humiliate me and my friends."
"Don't worry. It's trick free. Promise." Then she began to think of something. Then she remembered. "Oh yeah, and Applejack is wondering where you are Rainbow."
Rainbow's eyes widen. Looking for her?
"Why?"
"She wants to talk to you I guess. She asked me if I've seen you and I told her I haven't. I'll tell her you left early."
"No it's fine. I'll go talk to her. Trixie?"
Trixie waited for her words to be spoken.
"Thanks."
"No prob. And it was great seeing you again Twilight."
Twilight smiled, glad she was being noticed.
"Isn't the great and powerful Trixie a caring and most innocent person?"
Twilight only rolled her eyes with a smile while Rainbow Dash faced palms herself.
Then, without realizing, Trixie used her power dust to disappear into thin air.
Rainbow and Twilight coughed and ten stopped when it all disappear.
Rainbow looked at the invitation again. It did look like loads of fun.
"Hey, maybe you just need a party Rainbow Dash. That always makes me feel better, especially cause Pinkie Pie is the one who does it." Twilight said.
Rainbow smiled and hugged her friend. "I'm glad you came back Twilight."
"Me too. And I think I'll stay till after the party. In the mean time, we need to find Applejack."
Rainbow was a little nervous to see Applejack again, but she might as well deal with her yelling again.
They found a way to get to the inside of the school by jumping, except Twilight almost broke her hip. Her and Rainbow Dash walked to the inside of the school and saw the halls empty.
"I guess everyone's in class." Rainbow Dash said.
"Let's hope they don't mind you're tardy."
Suddenly, they heard voice at the ends of the hall. They ran to it, and only saw Sunset Shimmer and Fluttershy talking.
"I still say you should talk to the police Fluttershy." Sunset Shimmer said.
"I don't know. Sure my mom hits me and my step dad actually made me stay outside for the night, but I don't want to become an orphan."
"Isn't it better than getting hit everyday?"
They saw Rainbow Dash appear with Twilight next to her.
"Twilight? You're back?" Fluttershy was so surprised.
"Hey guys. Glad to see y'all are doing alright."
"Thank you so much for coming Twilight." Sunset Shimmer said. "I thought she might need advice from the princess."
"Yeah, well next time you do that, make sure to tell me." Rainbow crossed her arms to prove she was a little mad.
"Sorry. But I didn't know what else to do."
Then she smiled. "It's okay. I think I did needed Twilight."
"Not trying to change the subject, but Fluttershy, why are you wearing that?" Twilight asked.
Fluttershy crossed her arms to hide what was on her arms. Rainbow Dash walked to the shy got and said "Let her see. I'm sure she won't say anything."
Fluttershy felt pretty embarrassed to show off her shirt, but se did what she was told and lifted up her shirt, revealing bruises on her back, arms and her stomach.
Twilight was so in shock. "What happen?" She asked.
"Her mother." Sunset said.
"You're mother does this to you?"
"Yes." She said softly.
"Fluttershy, you need to tell princess--principal Celestia about this."
"I can't. Then I would be an orphan. And I don't want to become that. I could less about being injured on the outside, but the inside is what matters."
"But isn't your inside telling to say something?"
Fluttershy didn't respond. She's already hurt so much. She immediately decided to pull down her shirt. She didn't want anyone to see them. "I'll be okay."
Everyone really wanted her to say something, but obviously, she won't do it.
"By the way," Sunset said looking at Rainbow and placing her hand on Fluttershy's shoulder. "Applejack is looking for you."
"We know. We're looking for her too. You wouldn't happen to know where she is, do you?" Twilight asked.
Fluttershy's and Sunset didn't know.
"I think she might be in English right now." Rainbow said.
"Well, I'm guessing we'll have to wait until everyone is in the halls again huh?"
"Probably." Fluttershy said. "Unless she uses the bathroom like she is right now."
Rainbow Dash and Twilight looked back and saw the cowgirl walk into the girls room with a hall pass.
Rainbow blushed only feeling a little off.
"We'll be in the halls if you need us." Twilight said. "I think it's best if you go alone to talk."
"Yeah. You're right. Wish me luck. I think for the first time, I'm gonna need it." She took a deep breath and walk to the girls room opening the door to walk in.
When she went in there, Applejack wasn't in there. She was gone. She must have been in one of the stalls.
Rainbow Dash looked in the mirror to take a look of herself. She didn't look like a mess but she wasn't really in her happy face mode like how Pinkie Pie describes it.
Suddenly, one of the stalls revealed a girl with blond hair and green eyes. She smiled "There you are Rainbow!"
Rainbow looked back at Applejack nervous.
"I've been looking all over for you."
She walked closer to her friend but was only a few inches away.
"I've heard." Rainbow was afraid to speak, which was way weird.
"Listen, I'm really, really sorry."
Dash's eyes widen when she said that. She's apologizing again?
"I guess I was still a little upset about my great aunt and how I guess I got a little lost about what our friendship means to me."
Rainbow still was a little hurt but tried not to show it.
"And I should let you know, I do appreciate everything you've done for us. I feel really bad that I yelled at you. I'm sorry. Can you forgive me?"
Rainbow wasn't sure how to answer that. She could tell she was serious by her green eyes by how they sparkle only a little. She looked so cute. But she sighed and said "I don't know. I was pretty upset."
"I know. You were crying."
Rainbow blushed. "How did you--- Fluttershy?"
"Yep."
Rainbow really hated when people see her cry or blush. It would ruin her reputation of being a dare devil.
Applejack walked closer to Rainbow Dash and surprised her by giving her a hug. Rainbow before she knew it was blushing red like her hair color. She tried to pull Applejack away to face her but she held on tight.
"W-What are you doing?" She asked.
"I know you need a hug for once in your life." She said.
Rainbow didn't know what to do. She was blushing redder than anything of the color red. She thought of one thing to do. She wrapped her arms Applejack's shoulder closing her eyes, with the cutest smile she's ever made in her life.
They both were like that for a few minutes and Applejack pulled away to look at Rainbow's magenta eyes. 'They're beautiful.' She thought as she felt that weird feeling again back when they were on the field talking about their date night. It scared her cause she's not use to feeling like this around Rainbow. It was almost like she wanted to...
She let go of Rainbow and walked to the sink and washed her hands.
"Oh so what?" Rainbow said. "Now I'm full of germs?"
"I had to wash my hands."
"I know. I'm just playing." She began to rub her arm as she said the words "I forgive ya, again."
"Well, that's good to hear." But when she turned around to face Rainbow, she noticed how red her face was. "Oh my gosh. Are you crying?"
"No. What gives you that idea?"
"Well, yore face is red and I can see a little bit of tears falling down your cheek."
Rainbow didn't notice her crying. She didn't feel upset after what just happen. She was actually happy to feel Applejack. The blushing, she knew where thy was from.
"No. I'm not crying. Rainbow Dash never cries."
Applejack chuckled. "Right."
They both laughed and walked out of the bathroom together talking. "And I'm sorry for being such a pain at the end." Rainbow Dash said. "I guess I was really upset you forgot I was only there."
"I know." Applejack said smiling small.
"So, are we good?"
Applejack didn't respond with only a serious face, but Rainbow knew a face like that.
"Come on."
"Nope." Applejack teased, trying not to smile.
Which only lead one thing to Rainbow
"Come on AJ!" Then she bend to Applejack's legs and lifted her making her spin around as she got a good hold of her.
For a girl, Rainbow Dash was strong.
Applejack laughed harder than Rainbow as she hold her. "Put me down! Put me down!" She said playfully hitting Rainbow's back.
"Not till you say you forgive me!" Dash played.
"Rainbow come on!"
"Excuse me ladies."
They both stopped and saw their principal look down at them with a serious face.
Rainbow only made a grin trying to keep her safe but knew it wasn't going to help.
"As much as friendship seems like fun and how you two forgave each other I suggest you get to class." Celestia said.
"Yes ma'am." Applejack said.
Then suddenly, Celestia walked to Rainbow Dash and handed her something pink in her hand. It was a tardy pass saying for what caused her to be late.
Rainbow was surprised principal Celestia was giving her this.
"Thank you ma'am." She said smiling.
Celestia return the smile and pointed to the direction they should be heading.
They walked as she went the other way heading to the right hallway.
Rainbow looked back to see if se wasn't looking and said "Hey Trixie is having a party on Saturday and said I could bring friends. Wanna come?"
Applejack believed that was a good idea, but her Buckley had made plans for a date.
"And you can bring Buckley too."
Applejack's eyes widen when she said that. She looked at Rainbow to if she was serious, and she was. She smiled back at her friend and said "Thanks. I'll come."
Even though her jealously gets the best of her, she likes to see Applejack happy, so how can se be happy if he's not there for her?
"And," she placed her hand on Rainbow's shoulder. "I forgive you, again."
