A/N: this is when Twilight returns to Ponyville of you're wondering and I'm glad you've all read my story. I really do appreciate it. I will admit, these last two might be very short so I hope you aren't disappointed. Enjoy!

The ponies and baby dragon waited outside of the mirror, waiting for their Alicorn princess to return. She has been gone longer than they expected and they didn't get any messages or anything.
Their friend must be in trouble, so Rarity decided one thing. "That's it! I'm going in!" She said and ran for the mirror.
Spike and Fluttershy stopped her by grabbing her front hoofs. "Rarity, you can't go in there." Fluttershy said.
"Twilight is in trouble!" She yelled. "We have to save her!"
"I'm pretty sure Twilight is fine." Spike said. "We just gotta--"
But then he was interrupted by something flying into the room smashing onto the demanding unicorn. Then everyone finally had a smile plastered on their faces. "TWILIGHT!"
She groaned feeling pain in her head. "I'm back." She said. She looked down and realized she was onto of Rarity and blushed.
But Rarity am didn't seem to mind cause she immediately gave Twilight a big hug with tears falling down her eyes. She was ruining her mascara. "Oh Twilight! We were so worried!"
"I knew you were okay!" It was Pinkie Pie's turn to hug Twilight.
"Why were you gone for so long?" Fluttershy asked as she flew to the Alicorn.
"Yeah." Spike said. "You said you were gonna be back two or three Sundays ago."
"I know. I'm sorry everypony. There was bigger problems we had to take care. But I'm glad I'm back home." She said.
But then she realized her two friends, Rainbow Dash and Applejack, were quiet looking nervous. "You two alright?"
Rarity stood up on her for hoofs and said "Now Twilight, before they say anything, understand we are always friends with them no matter what."
"Uh huh!" Pinkie said while Fluttershy nodded.
She looked at the baby dragon for an answer. "I don't know either."
She looked at the earth pony and Pegasus waiting for their respond.
The first to speak was Applejack. "Twilight, we understand if you no longer want to be our friend, but know it won't... it won't..." Applejack was real frighten to say this.
So Rainbow Dash decided to speak it point. "It won't change my relationship with Applejack by dating her."
Twilight's eyes widen with Rainbow Dash. Not only she told the truth of what's going on, but that she looked real to admit to something she's probably not use to doing. That was very courageous of her.
"Wait. You two are dating?" She asked.
"Yes. And if you can't accept, then maybe we aren't friends." She closed her eyes trying to look tough.
Applejack thought she look silly and face palm herself.
"Well alright. I'm happy for you two." Twilight said with a smile.
"That's what I..." But Rainbow repeated it back in her head and was shock. "Wait, did you say, you're happy for us?"
"Yes. You two are my best friends, including everypony else. Whatever your opinion is love each other, even if your mares, doesn't mean it'll change our friendship."
Everypony smiled, glad to see their princess understood the basics of love in a whole different way.
Spike on the other hand, looked shock. "Wait, what does that mean?"
Twilight looked back at the baby dragon with a smile. "You'll learn soon."
He hates it when she says that.
She looked back at the couple and said "Besides, back at CHS, I seem to have my own some pony who's a mare." She grinned saying that.
Everyone was so surprised. The princess of friendship has a mare as her girlfriend? Rarity seemed the most surprised.
Pinkie couldn't help herself but jumped onto Twilight and pushed her against the floor with the biggest smile on her face. "I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!"
She finally got off of the princess and everypony was demanding to know who.
"Who is she darling?" Rarity asked.
"Maybe I shouldn't say yet." She said.
"Come on Twilight." Applejack said. "We'd like to meet her."
"Well that's just it. Y'all might not like her."
"Twilight," Fluttershy said. "It doesn't matter who you're dating. We're still happy for you."
"It's not Trixie, is it?" Rainbow asked.
"Heck no. I guess..."
"Ooh! I know! I know!" Pinkie jumped up and down.
Everyone waited for her answer, believing she might get it wrong.
"It's Sunset Shimmer!"
Twilight's jaw fell down almost to the ground. Everypony giggled in excitement.
"How did you know that?"
"Just a hunch!" She smiled.
"Now I must say, you two are perfect." Rarity said.
"Congrats Twi!" Rainbow Dash flew to hug the princess.
"And congrats to you and Applejack. I think you two are perfect." She said as Rainbow Dash let go and flew to the earth pony.
Then, they muzzled their muzzles which made everypony blush and smile.

"So what are you trying to show me?" Applejack said with her eyes close as the Pegasus flew with her on her back.
"You'll see. It's something I always calm down to when I'm upset." She said.
She was able to find the place and flew slowly to the ground to make sure Applejack didn't fall.
The earth pony got off but still had her eyes closed.
"You can open your eyes now."
Applejack felt relieved and open her green red to reveal a beautiful place she's never seen before.
It was empty. There was loads of tall, brown grass that was shining as the sun was setting. The place still seem bright. There were barley any trees. There was only one in her point of view.
Applejack has never seen a place like this. She felt she could cry her eyes out.
"What is this place?" She asked. "It's beautiful."
"This is the empty meadows." Rainbow Dash said. "This was one place I always grew up to when ever I'm down as upset. You like it?"
"Like it? I love it. This place is amazing." She wouldn't stop looking at the grass being shine by the sun.
Rainbow blushed of how amazed Applejack was being. Then she had an idea.
"You know, there's always been one thing I've been wanting to do to any pony when I showed them this place. It's loads of fun." She said.
"What's that?" Applejack finally looked at her with a big smile.
Rainbow Dash walked closer to her and placed her hoof gently onto the back side of the earth pony. She grinned and said "Roll over!"
Then without response, she pushed Applejack into the grass and she started to roll down the hill.
Rainbow began to flap her wings and watched the earth pony roll and roll down the hill.
She stopped and made it to a stop where you can stop rolling. Seem like a small mountain. She was laughing of how much it was to her. She was basically crying. She breathe with her eyes closed feeling better. She opened her eyes and saw the blue Pegasus fly over her with her hat in her hoofs.
She threw herself up and just sitting instead and Rainbow Dash joined her by putting her hat down in between them.
"That.. That was fun." She said. She was panting.
"You bet it was." Rainbow said. "That's one thing that makes me feel better."
"Well, you certainly made my day Rainbow."
Rainbow smiled and blushed of how cute she was. She looked into her green eyes and hit felt her heart beat fast.
"You know, with the sun setting, it makes this place even more beautiful." Applejack said.
"Yeah. But when it's spring and it's not setting, the grass is more green than this. It's only brown cause summer is coming."
"I'm excited. Aren' t you?"
She blushed and again and felt it was best to touch Applejack's hoof that was laying there by itself. She smiled as Applejack looked up at her again. "I am very excited. Especially when I am spend it with you."
Applejack's heart flutter as she smiled at the Pegasus. Summer will be a breeze for them.
Rainbow thought this was one of those moments where you kiss the pony when it's quiet with a long stare. She was about to do it, but then Applejack lifted her hoof and poked Rainbow's muzzle.
Rainbow rubbed her muzzle and felt the spark go through her. Then she looks at Applejack funny. "Really?" Se said smiling.
Applejack chuckled. "You got poked."
Rainbow only nodded at the earth pony's silliness.
Suddenly, Applejack lifted her hoof again but she didn't poke Rainbow's nose this time. She left it there open and wide.
Rainbow smiled and slowly and gently put her hoof into Applejack's feeling the warmth from her hoof and her stomach.
"Rainbow?"
"Yeah?"
"I think I'm glad that you kissed me at Pinkie's welcome party, even though it was an epic fail."
"Me too."
Apparently, Twilight said she would be back no longer and Pinkie planned a huge surprise party for her. But because she never came, they had to clean up everything. Applejack and Rainbow Dash were cleaning the bedrooms by theirselves. Rainbow had too many bottles of fizzy Apple Cider and unexpected kissed Applejack, making her fall onto the bed. Applejack regretted her at first and hurt her feelings, she was never heard from ever, then Applejack realized there was nothing wrong with liking her. She was mostly afraid of what her friends or family thinks. They didn't seem to mind. Rarity freaked, but they were cool. Applejack was able to visit Rainbow's house with one of Twilight's spells, with the help from Rarity, to make it to the clouds without falling. She told her she was sorry, and kissed her making her feel better and come out of her home. Their friends accepted their relationship, and they could never be any happier.
Suddenly, Rainbow Dash didn't think this was one of those moments. But Applejack slowly began to close her eyes and lean forward puckering her lips trying to get a kiss from Rainbow.
Rainbow leaned back, making sure of this was perfect. She didn't want to screw up. She closed her eyes telling herself 'Just do it! Just do it! Just do it!'
Applejack opened her eyes to see her mare's eyes close not trying to kiss back. "Rain-"
But then she was interrupted by Rainbow's kiss that happen. She was surprised, but she adapted of how now it was feeling this.
They stayed that way for a minute and pulled away to breath. They looked into each other's eyes. Hearts beating so fat, it was music to them.
Rainbow Dash kissed her again and began to try and make a move on her of something.
Applejack pushed her away smiling. "Why here when we can have one special place?" She asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Come with me." Applejack stood on her four legs and led Rainbow Dash out of the empty meadow, so they can have a place that's dark and private for them.
