Robert and Flash had suffered the awkwardness at the convention which they were forced to go, the girls find the reaction so hysterically funny, they forgive their actions from yesterday. But after surviving the girls conversation, Flash friended Robert on Facebook for the tier list. We start a normal day of school.

August 19, 2015
Today I am still recovering from what happened at the girls conversation, but something interesting happened today. I was in the library finishing my homework, when all of a sudden, a girl walks up to me and smiles with nice looking hair. "Hi!" She says with a crossed-eye expression on her face. "Hello there, may I help you?" I asked the girl. "Uh... Yes! You see, I need a partner for this years... Uh... Battle of The Bands!" I jumped with excitement, because I always wanted to complete in THE Battle of the Bands when I saw Rainbow Rocks. "O-of course I'll help you..." I said trying to hold tears from the beautiful competition for this years Battle of the Bands. "Thanks!" She walks away in a good mood, accidentally hitting the door on the way to the hallway. The war wasn't until next month but gives me plenty of time to prepare for all of the unpredictable skills and music the other students could offer.

Robert had practiced playing his piano for the contest, hoping for the best outcomes of this new Battle of the Bands, one month later...

September 19, 2015
Principal Celestia called up all the students who were completing in this years Battle of the Bands. I even saw Adagio and her two friends were here too. All we had to do is to test us if we were capable of entering this contest, AKA the additions. We all did a great job, showing fear throughout the school with music. But when it was time to take part of telling which one of the school will be able to play in this years contest. "Alright, the results are in!" Principle Celestia rounded up our attention to pronounce who was going to enter this years Battle of the Bands. "Here are the entries!" Lots of familiar logos of team had appeared on a big TV screen in the multi-use room and a lot of kids cheered for being qualified for the competition. Me and Derpy had our logo on the chart and our first match was against the Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. "Interesting competition..." I said to myself. "Take a look at your competition and practice a little bit more for tomorrow's first round of Battle of the Bands." I told Derpy was gonna come home with me to practice and review the skills for each team. But as I was about to enter the Bruiser Cruiser, a familiar voice called me. "Hey Rob! Ya miss me?" I turn to see a friend I haven't seen for a while, Thunderskies! "Hey Thunder! Long time no see!" We both hugged. "Where were you Rob?" She asked me. "Sorry, I have been busy lately and still am, I gotta practice for the Battle of the Bands." She grinned. "Well I'm entering the contest too, my partner is a surprise." I know Derpy was waiting to start the plans so I had to wrap it up. "Well I hope we will be able to compete with each other, goodbye." She agreed and waved goodbye.

Robert and Derpy had reviewed most of the common teams that were in this tournament. Robert used words such as deadly, difficult, odd, or strait down easy. But they practiced their first song until 9:30pm.

September 20 2015
Today was the day of the competition and my heart was racing against time because competition like this is fierce. But when I arrived to school, it was closed for the event. "Cool." I said as I see that it is being held in the back. I walk over there as everyone is talking with some competitive speeches, but in a more friendly mood, not even as negative in Rainbow Rocks. "Now this is my competition..." I went to trash talk Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, until Principle Celestia walks up to the stage to say, "Alright, with the matches decided, let's get this years Battle of the Bands begin!" First match was the Eco team Vs. Thunderskies and... The Cutie Mark Crusaders? Cool, this should be good, I'll just give a quick summary on what happens. The Eco Team start the song smooth and peaceful, while the CMCs were ok, but what really made the show interesting is when they stopped the original song they were performing and showed their real A game. They did a really impressive version of Raise This Barn, during the song the girls began to dance around in a wonderful paste like a hoedown then the girls revealed their true power with their pony versions. At first the students where shocked, but Celestia and Luna were expecting to show their selfs with music. By that time, the girls released a powerful wave of energy that sent the team flying. "The first battle goes to the Cutie Mark Crusaders!" The crowd cheers, but I was shocked that we can release our true selves, but I wasn't from here... This must be challenging...

I would like to take a minute to say I am shaking nervously, but Thunderskies walked up to me. "Hi Rob! Did you like my performance?" I nodded: "Y-yes, it was great..." She saw my shaking. "You ok Rob?" I broke of my nervousness. "No...  Very fragile with this... Thunder reminded me just to ignore the crowd and find the music in you... She walks away, I thought about it for a minute and it all made sense! I need to find the key to my true form by ignoring the crowd and find the music in the insides of me. After two other battles, I was up next with Derpy. We were up against Diamond and Silver. I have rehearsed for this many times and I am not turning back... The match began and the curtain was up...
