Song : 'Lover' by Taylor Swift

"You're important to me, even of you lie a thousand times."

【I'm Hungry】

Jasmine sat there, still wrapped in Jimin's arms, intently looking at him and contemplating his offer. Should she tell him? Can she trust him?

"I don't even know your name?" She asked clueless, a question arising from her heart. From day one when she has met him, she never got to know this man's name. And the weirdest thing is she doesn't mind the fact to be in his embrace even when she knows nothing about him.

"Jimin it is" He replied unable to take his eyes off of her beautiful face. Her big black orbs feels way more captive from near. It's making it harder for the stone-hearted Jimin to focus on his situation, holding a girl's waist sitting on his bed, being so close.

It was the sudden growling of her empty stomach that both of their gazes finally hindered. Jasmine's eyes widens onto the fact that she just embarrassed herself in front of neighbour boy. Jimin's hands instantly pull themselves away from her giving her some space while trying his best to look anywhere but her.

"I'm hungry" Jasmine said shyly looking down rubbing her empty stomach. If it hadn't been those filthy assassins trying to kill her earlier in the supermarket, she would have been having a full stomach. Now that moment has passed and she doesn't know for how long she has been here for, she's way too hungry.

Jimin pulled away from her standing onto his feet almost immediately.

"I-I'll go check for something to eat." He said avoiding looking at her sitting figure. Her lips purses already embarrassed by herself and he didn't want to escalate it more for her to feel awkward. He quickly left the room, trying to be as unfazed as possible.

Jasmine took the solitude moment to look around the unknown room. By now her small brain has already taken upon the fact that it's a boy's place but the room she is in, she has no idea to whom it belongs.

She pulls her body sitting on the edge of the bed, dangling legs slightly touching the ground with her bare feet. Her eyes flicker down towards her lap thinking of her situation.

A large group of assassins are behind her, probably send-off by her father. Her neighbour boy whose name is now known as Jimin, supposedly saved her from them and now practically captured her but is still also offering help to her protect herself in exchange for her personal reasons because of which she is here, to begin with.

Do I really need to tell him?

She knows perfectly that without anyone's help it will be a disaster to leave Korea and even if she does succeed, the other countries might as well be more dangerous.

She just lost the most important shield of her life, Ashton. He was the only person whom she can rely on with full trust. Now that only person whom she knows and cares about is possibly gone and she is alone, very alone.

A tear escaped her eyes as memories of him flashes before her, she can never get over Ashton's death. Her head hung low trying to suppress her fresh tears, her fingers fisting the sheets beneath her tightly.

She was so lost in her own thoughts and fears that she doesn't notice when the gates open and a figure entered inside quietly.

The person bends down releasing a small cream puppy from his hands. He stands upright, his heartbreaking in pieces as his gaze falls upon the broken Jasmine feeling guilty for her condition. Knowing that he could avoid it and get her out but he can't oppose his hyung, he feels miserable too.

Jasmine felt ticklish on her foot. Her gaze falls down at the small little thing licking her foot, trying to comfort her as if he knew what she is feeling right now.

"Teddy?!" She gasped, quickly bending down and holding the puppy in her arms. She brings the pet up, hugging him tightly by her neck. "You're here!"

She kissed the puppy clutching him tightly to her body, without noticing the other person still standing on the door watching her lovingly.

He took a hesitant step inside, thinking about what he should say. He wants to help her but he doesn't know-how. Every way leads to him opposing others. He stood in front of Jasmine scratching the back of his neck nervously.

His eyes soften looking at her finally smiling after a long day. Her eyes completely shut and a cute smile adoring on her lips.

He wouldn't deny that his heart took a leap inside his chest seeing her. He felt for her something that is beyond just liking and he knew it perfectly. When the elders called her a liar after seeing her fake ids and that pendrive, his heart broke down, but even then he didn't believed it. He couldn't bring himself to hate her, even if he tries his hardest. Now that he knows she is not a bad person, he felt relieved.

He always feels as if she is never in the wrong, he knew it deep inside but it's also isn't false that she is indeed living on a fake identity. And it makes it a must for him to find out who she really is.

He straightens his back, standing at an intimidating stance before her. He cleared his throat making Jasmine jerk her head towards him. Her innocent black orbs looks up at him, instantly recognizing him.

"Jungkook" His name softly falling from her lips melt him at the very exact moment. His eyes soften as he looks at her, couldn't be angry before her. He sighs at himself before taking a seat beside her, trying to compose his racing heart.

Jasmine felt happy finally seeing the person she knows in this new place. A small smile stretched upon her lips making Jungkook lose himself right then and there. She unconsciously scoots closer to him feeling his warmth in this foreign place.

"You lied to me." He said more like a statement rather than a question. Jasmine looks at his face knowing exactly well how he feels about all this. She lied about herself and she hates it. She didn't want to live off by another name but she didn't have any choice. She fears what is happening with her right now.

"I'm sorry Jungkook. I had a reason." She said looking down at her puppy in her hand who is now peacefully asleep in her arms. Why can't I be this peaceful? She thought.

"What reason?" Jungkook asked turning his body towards her, urging her to tell him. Jasmine contemplated for a second. Jungkook is the only person she knows now, she has been working with him, she might have a little crush on him too but can she really trust him enough to tell him her real identity.

"You can trust me." Jungkook said softly as if reading her mind. His fingers brushes upon her cheek removing a strand of her dark locks behind her ear. She sucks in a harsh breath, her heart accelerating from just a simple gesture. He laid his palm on her cheek caressing her skin.

"I want to tell you b-" Jasmine started but gets interrupted by the new voice.

"Jin hyung is calling for you both." Jasmine recognised the boy. He was there in her house that day when Jimin barged inside. The blonde one is how she remembers him.

Jungkook looks at his hyung quickly pulling his hand away from Jasmine.

"What happened, Taehyung hyung?" Jungkook asked in his native language. Jasmine just sat there bored, why do they have to talk in Korean only?!

"Dinner. If you don't want to eat that's okay but she does want to." Taehyung said nodding his head towards Jasmine who is now petting her dog clearly oblivious of the foreign language.

Jungkook looks at her innocent face, eyes softening. Was she just about to tell me everything? He thought.

||

Everyone silently sat at the dining table. Their head turned towards the new girl, while their jaws dropped down at the floor. Their shocked gaze not being able to leave the girl.

Jasmine sat their oblivious of their gazes as she stuff food in her mouth at an inhuman rate. She is eating as if she hasn't eaten anything for years, well it wasn't particularly a lie because she has been hungry for almost two days.

Everyone looks at her with perplexed eyes. She is a petite girl, even then she is eating like a giant pig.

Jasmine was so busy stuffing herself that she didn't realise when she picked up a pair of chopsticks and started eating with it. Jimin also notices it, his brows frowning at the scene.

"You know how to use chopsticks?" He asked in a rather normal tone but his shock couldn't be hidden behind his voice.

As far as he knows, Jasmine is a foreigner and it's impossible for her to use chopsticks as they are not in their culture. But even though some people know how to them but it definitely needs training. Chopsticks are not butter to learn.

Jungkook tilted his head in confusion. He definitely remembers the night when she was in his house for dinner.

-

Jungkook's mother, Mrs. Nayeon carefully places the freshly cooked curry and rice in front of Jasmine. She passes her a smile before sitting down in her place.

Jasmine was just about to start eating when she noticed there wasn't any spoon. She looks up at Jungkook who was already watching her secretly. He being caught made his cheeks flush red a bit but he still continued to look at her passing her a small smile.

"Jungkook do you have a spoon?" Jasmine asked, a blush prominent on her face for the fact that she just caught Jungkook staring at her but she ignored it. "I don't know how to use chopsticks."

-

Jasmine's hand stopped mid-air in front of her mouth. Her eyes widened, jaw drop opened looking at her hands holding a pair of chopsticks perfectly.

"T-This is the first time I'm u-using them." She said taken aback by her own herself.

What the fucking hell?
