"My name on your tongue is heaven for me."

【Crown】

1428, Goryeo Palace, Korea.

Yang watches Sunhee as her youthful face pales within seconds. The young girl immediately turns around and bows to the authoritative man standing behind her.

Her body visibly shaking. Yang tilts her head trying to peak over her but she couldn't see the man Sunhee fears from so much.

"I would appreciate it if you don't disclose your Queen's Identity to anyone." Yang only notices as his hand came up and lightly flicked, putting Sunhee's dead feet to work and leave her room as quickly as possible.

Yang's eyes finally took upon the man standing in her doorway. His piercing eyes immediately softening as they met with her shocked ones. A small smile stretching across his face before he starts walking towards her bed.

And as if Yang's world started running slow, she watches him gracefully walk closer to her. His strides longer, but still so smooth that her heart leapt. His dark eyes looking directly at her form as if drinking her every bit more as he comes closer.

He finally stood in front of her, smile escalating more seeing her up close again. He bends down sitting on his knees, making Yang gasp.

"What are you doing my king?!" She asked worriedly clutching onto his shoulders to stop him from going further down. He tilts his head up, a beautiful smile adorning his lips which reminded Yang of a cute bunny. Her heart leapt into her chest when he sat down on his knees completely, adoring her. His black orbs took upon her features making her blush under them.

He looks down and gently removes her hanbok from her ankle to take a better look at her injury. A big white bandage covering her visibly swollen foot making his blood boils. He bit the inside of his lips, fingers fisting around her loose hanbok. He takes in a sharp breath before looking up at her apologetically, eyes softening.

"I'm sorry, I didn't do anything." His words were softer than before. His voice is so soothingly touching Yang that she almost forgot where they are.

"You don't have to be my king." She utter softly making King Dang Hee's heart beat faster. The way 'My King' falls from her lips is like music to his ears. He was dying to hear this from her for such a long time that it almost seem unreal. And now that he finally has gotten his dream come true, he can't contain his happiness.

He extends his arm, gently cupping Yang's cheek. She shudders a bit under his touch but in some sort of way, she found comfort. She leans onto his palm ever so slightly liking the warmth of his hands. Dang Hee smiles at her, loving the way her soft skin feels under his touch.

"I've waited for this all my life." He said running his other hand towards her fingers in her lap. Yang hesitated a bit but let him intertwined their fingers.

"Rest well my Queen. Tomorrow is your crown ceremony." He said finally letting go of her but not before placing a small peck on the back of her intertwined hand, making a light pink hue spread across her cheeks. He slowly got up on his feet. His royal red hanbok fitting him perfectly.

"I can't wait to see you tomorrow." He passes her a last smile before turning around and leaving her to rest for the night.

It was the first time Yang actually liked being called a Queen.

Sun is burning the field but still, it is completely filled with people. Almost all the residents of the village are here. Also, some from nearby villages or from places all over King Dang Hee's empire, waiting under the sun for their king to crown his queen.

It has been a ritual to crown a queen formally and she could be any one of the king's wife. This is done in front of all the empire to give them a look of their new queen.

King Choi Dang Hee put extra effort into making this crowning ceremony the most spectacular in the history of his empire. He hired the best people in his palace and offered them the honourable job of serving him. One of them being, Park Dong Gil, a member of King's Nobleman.

He stood on the podium for the final checking of the arrangements. His eyes took upon the large crowd gathered for the King, thoughts filling with all the great works the King has done that led so many people being gathered here. A smile took upon his face, small dimples making themselves known.

"You're quite handsome, Dong Gil hyung." A voice said from behind him making him snort a little. His hand came up to cover his lips to stop himself from bursting loudly in front of everyone.

"Look who's saying that!" He snaps looking at the man before him. "You're the most handsome among ladies here Byeong Suk. Look at that soft face of yours!"

Dong Gil extends his hands intending to poke Byeong Suk's soft cheeks but he swatted them away just in time.

"Stop it hyung!" Byeong Suk snaps, his cheeks tainting with pink.

"Why don't you just accept that you're handsome? Girls around the palace swoon over your cute face Byeong Suk and you still say I'm admiring!" Dong Gil said. His eyes roaming around the crowd finding a group of girls swooning over for them.

"Look there!" He points at them, waving sweetly. The girls got taken aback filling completely with shock. They gasp clutching their heart to calm down for a bit before passing him the most beautiful wave they can muster.

Byeong Suk saw that but mostly ignored it. He never intended on female attention, mostly never needing one. But still, ladies all over the palace and outside are head over heels for his beauty. His face is too soft and adorable for a General. And maybe this is the reason why girls admire him, for his thrilling job and adorable yet handsome features.

"Hyung where is our Queen sitting?" Byeong Suk asks taking his hyung off the topic. He doesn't want to believe on the fact that he is indeed good looking for a general in charge.

"Just where we are standing. You can gather some extra guards here." Dong Gil suggests. "King wants the best and tightest security for her, especially after the forest incident."

Byeong Suk felt a sudden wave of anger wash upon him. The forest, those filthy men touching Yang, is the last thing he will ever let her happen. Even if she is married to the king, that doesn't change the fact that Byeong Suk still feels protective over her. But he doesn't know just yet that his protectiveness towards someone who doesn't belong to him anymore, can actually be more lethal than he can imagine.

The melodious sound of the trumpet broke around in the ground. All eyes turn towards the sound finding the person they were waiting for so long.

A few people holding up the band instruments are walking ahead of the fully armed soldiers protecting their king who sat proudly on his dark brown horse, one that he likes the most.

King Choi Dang Hee displays his sweet small smile as he passes by his audience like a great king he is. His head held higher on the occasion being more confident in himself, even if he is more nervous than needed. He had been dying to crown his beloved for such a long time and this is making him happy and nervous, both at the same time.

His band stopped in front of the stairs, perfectly parting in half to make way for their king. He stops the horse before his soldiers and gracefully climbs down, making his followers swoon at his movements.

King Choi Dang Hee has been considered the most handsome and kind-hearted king of history. His empire is the biggest in the whole Korea and there is considerably no one who can compete him to it. His works for his people are unmatchable.

He gently and gracefully strides towards the stairs of his throne passing by his bowing soldiers. His smile seems bigger than before as he climbs the stairs, a few moments before he can meet his new wife properly.

His movements are smooth and captive as he turns around softly flowing his hanbok in the air around his body before sitting down on his gold throne.

The audience bows to him all the while, delighted to be having their great king's presence. Dang Hee straighten his face. His features relaxing from his smile before he clears his throat signalling for his announcer to be ready.

"All the people present here!" The announcer starts. "Welcome to our king's ceremony!"

"Our majesty is grateful for all of your presence on this beautiful occasion. You're all going to be meeting your new queen and I hope you'll welcome her with all the respect and love. She is important to our king and I want to request you to love your queen just as much as you love our great majesty!"

The whole crowd erupts in loud cheers, supporting the king for his new wife. A cute smile unconsciously makes its way on King Dang Hee's face looking at all the support.

In the midst of all the cheerful hooting, the sound of traditional Korean instruments starts ringing all over again. The crowd turns their attention towards the sound finding a big beautiful palanquin surrounding by a small troop of soldiers followed by the musical band ringing the captive traditional music.

The palanquin is bigger and more beautiful than any palanquin the audience has ever seen in their lives. Dang Hee himself requested to make a new red palanquin for his beloved's welcome. His eyes are proud seeing the perplexed faces of almost everyone before him. His head itself held high.

On the other side, Byeong Suk stood beside the podium where Yang is destined to sit. He himself felt more responsible to provide her with his protection. He doesn't trust the soldiers enough to leave her with. His eyes stern, active for any danger lurking around Yang.

The palanquin stops in front of the king's podium. Music still ringing loudly as the soldiers set the beautiful red palanquin on the ground. A few female helpers immediately rush towards it holding the door open for the queen inside. Everyone holding their breath, ready to be showered with their queen's dignified beauty that has made their majesty captive of her.

She slowly emerges from inside of the beautiful palanquin. Her head and face covered gracefully from the red myeonsa, disappointing the audience a little. She stood upright straightening the pretty red hanbok that Dang Hee himself choose for her. All the maids gather around her showing her way to her destined throne.

Her eyes for a moment met Dang Hee's, observing the little smirk on his handsome face. She blushed looking away, thankful that no one could see her fluttering inside the myeonsa. She reached her small throne all made of gold. The maids helped her settle down on it without ruining her precious hanbok.

She intertwines her hand feeling nervous under so many eyes. Her eyes glanced at her husband again finding him already looking at her. She bit her lip looking away to calm her raising nervousness under his gaze.

"Meet our queen-" The announcer started but was cut off by an unfamiliar shout.

"STOP THIS!" All eyes turn towards the voice finding a new lady stood in front of the departing palanquin from which Yang came. Her eyes burning holes at her sitting figure, internally killing her a hundred times for taking the place which was her's, to begin with.

Her hand soothes her four-month belly calming herself a bit for the sake of her unborn child.

"Wasn't I invited my king?" She said, sarcasm dripping from her tongue.
