Sorry, that was a really sad story!
I really wouldn't want this to happen, but I know that there's a possibility that Ben could die in Episode IX.
If he has to die, I would prefer it if he died saving Rey. But I also know that there's a small possibility that she might be the one who kills him. The only way that wouldn't make me completely dislike the movie is if they did it similar to the previous story.
