Synopsis:

Negan struggles to find himself when Brandon keeps reminding him of who he used to be. Ezekiel reveals a secret while Daryl and Connie search for Kelly and Yumiko tries to run things in Hilltop.

This episode made me feel so many emotions at once that I need a moment to recover...Give me a second...Alright...I'm good.

So, men a lot going on! First of all let's talk about Negan. I've never wanted to punch someone as bad as I wanted to punch Brandon. What an asshole. What I did like, however, was Negan's reaction to his words. It clearly showed that he moved on from the person he used to be. He's a changed man and if you can't see that you simply hate him to hate him. And the ending scene HOLY PANCAKES. I'm am so excited to see him face off Alpha and Beta. I didn't think it'd happen this soon though! Anyway, next week's episode can't come soon enough!

Next let's talk about Ezekiel. My heart literally breaks for him. He's lost so much and now he has cancer too! I would give literally anything to see him smile again and I hope he talks to Carol soon. Those two were perfect together and deserve to talk things through.

Third, let me talk about the whole Kelly and Magna/Yumiko thing. I like this new group, I really do but I feel like the storyline they're doing with them feels a little forced? It feels like the things happening between Magna and Yumiko are just there to create tension. Why can't couples ever be happy? It's unnecessary to make them fight about something so pointless when they seemed all happy before. It's out of the blue and stupid. Then there's Kelly. I don't understand why she needs to get deaf too? Does she have a disease? Was she hit on the head? I need more explanation because it is too random to make sense.

I did, however, like the scenes between Daryl and Connie. The story about Merle was very cute and I love how he tries so hard for her. And did you see that wink he gave her before he left?! I swear these two better get more scenes and development together because their dynamic is so great.

Also, Alpha is still creepy as shit but her facial expressions are hilarious.

This episode was all over the place but that's how I like it. I like the episodes where they go from one area to the next, I think that really helps to keep things moving.

I finally got see more of my baby, Dog. But, y'all are gonna get sick of me saying this, he still deserves more screen time :)

I'm just going out right say it, Brandon deserves to die. Throughout the entire episode he's just being a little nuisance and then he kills Amelia and Milo! Like what the heck?! I'm so glad Negan got as tired of Brandon's crap as I did. I'm also super hyped to see Negan and the Whisperers together. I feel like Negan could kinda be a secret weapon for the survivors if they used him right.

I feel so bad for Ezekiel having cancer :( I hope there is something they can do to help him but I know the chances of that aren't super high. I hope he tells Carol soon because I think after everything they had, she deserves know. But it's definitely up to him as to who he tells.

The scenes with Magna and Yumiko seemed really random to me... I don't get why all of a sudden they're arguing and these things are being brought up because they seemed fine in the last episodes? I think it adds an interesting dynamic but it just feels forced and weird.

I think it's really interesting to see Kelly losing her hearing like her sister. Getting to watch the development between Connie and Kelly as they go through this together and seeing how Kelly develops as a character with it is really interesting.

I like how they throw in the random scenes with Alpha and the Whisperers. Getting to see Aaron and Gamma share a bit of screen time was a really interesting addition.

Now don't even get me started on talking about Daryl and Connie. Oh my god, they are so amazing. Like holy crap, Daryl has learned so much sign language already! He's really trying hard to build a dynamic with Connie. And if Connie and Daryl ever did become a thing then their child would be Dog and that's just an adorable thought.
