synopsis:

This week we watched as the survivors fought hundreds of walkers being sent by the Whisperers. Eventually a meeting between the two opposing groups was held and Carol, being the trusty but secretive badass she is, took the opportunity to shoot at Alpha after she dared to mention Henry. But Michonne hit her gun and the bullet went into the dirt. We then proceed to see Carol struggle with her hate for Alpha and grief over Henry. Between all of this we see Aaron and Negan fighting as Negan is given a little bit more freedom.

I was pretty happy with this episode, especially since I didn't really like the last one. The scene between Michonne and the others and Alpha was awesome and Carol behaved exactly how I expected she would. I feel so bad for her. I didn't really like Henry as a character but his death hit her so hard and all I want for Carol is to be happy again. This episode really was hard on her and showed how much losing Henry and Ezekiel really did to her. It was hard to watch honestly. Also her line "Bitch has to die" was awesome.

Although it was a little confusing at one point for me when she was hallucinating or when what she saw was real. That Whisperer that lured in that trap was real right?

Also the dynamic between Negan and Aaron was amazing. I love how Aaron, even though it's sad, is finally getting some character development. He can't stay the happy and positive guy forever and now all the loss he's suffered is finally catching up with him. I love seeing him go through that and what better person to have at your side to clear things up than Negan. I'm happy he got an episode outside of Alexandria and he got some more lines. Though, all I can think about is what his dynamic with Rick would've been if Rick was still here...

I also thought the conversation between Rosita and Eugene was good. It was necessary for them to have that talk because I felt like Rosita was ignoring all the signs and leading Eugene on a little bit. So it was good she told him where she stands. I still think the writers should've just let her have a relationship with Siddiq and not throw Gabriel in the mix because that shit made no sense and only made things more complicated but yeah...here we are.

Anyway, I loved this episode and can't wait for the next one!

I'm straight up confused about this episode. I really liked the episode as a whole but the things that happened just got me super confused.

The scenes with Carol hallucinating was super interesting and it really made us realize what she's been going through with losing Henry. But at the same time, I'm super confused. Did she actually see the three Whisperers? Did the whole scene in the gym really happen?

I loved seeing Negan outside with Aaron. Their dynamic is really interesting and it's cool to see how much Aaron blames Negan for because that wasn't something I'd really thought about.

I thought Carol's line "bitch has to die" was less dramatic than it seemed in the trailer and I was a little let down by that. But it had a very different tone to the line and showed just how upset she was.

Watching the survivors meet with Alpha was also interesting to see because there are a lot of tensions between all of them.

I still think that Dog needs more screen time.

i thought the episode was great all around! alphas attitude was definitely much different than last episode. at first i was a bit confused about the 'hours' stuff, but it made sense as the episode progressed. i'm very concerned about carol!! i love her and my baby needs sleep ): poor her and siddiq are goin through it. the scene with alpha and the others was very suspenseful and made me mad, alphas a crazy bitch lmao.

god i miss henry!! i miss him so much!!
