Look at the Flowers

Synopsis:

Flashbacks show Carol freeing Negan from his cell after he agrees to kill Alpha; in present day, Carol hallucinates Alpha, who taunts her about her morality and her past. Negan struggles to convince Daryl that he killed Alpha; a group of Whisperers ambush the duo and appoint Negan as the new Alpha, but Negan kills them in an effort to prove his loyalty to Daryl. Beta's past identity as a famous country singer is revealed; he plays his own records at high volume, luring walkers to his location. Eugene, Yumiko, and Ezekiel travel to meet Stephanie; on the road, they encounter a quirky and flamboyant survivor. Beta skins Alpha's face and attaches it to his mask before leading the horde of walkers to parts unknown.

I'm not going to lie, I absolutely loved this episode. I just wasn't expecting half of the things that were revealed during this episode. First I would like to begin with the flashback scenes. I was not expecting in the slightest the way that Neegan got away from Alexandria. I would have never called it for Carol to be the one that let him go, but I suppose desperate people do desperate things, and the story line there hasn't disappointed. The fact that Carol is now haunted by Alpha's ghost is a little weird but definitely a Carol type of thing, and hopefully she can soon be back to her usual self and less out of it, as lets be honest she can be quite badass and I would love to see that in the season finale (fingers crossed for her to be as badass as she was back at Terminus). 

Neegan's freedom also leads onto Daryl in this episode. I was so happy to see some scenes between the two characters this episode and the way that they are beginning to understand one another. I finally feel like we could have Neegan integrated into the Alexandria community, which is what I have honestly wanted for a while now. I also feel like Neegan understand Daryl better than a lot of the other characters, I don't know why just a feeling. What are your thoughts? I just feel like the old Neegan would have accepted being the new Alpha and killed Daryl but something has really changed now. He is still the sarcastic, cocky individual from before but he can see the right decisions to make. Let's be honest he has gone soft and grown close to Judith and Lydia. 

Going to admit, Beta is a little bit more scary and really intense now. I was not prepared for the whole skinning her face thing going on. Bit extreme if i'm being honest. But I think he is actually a more scarier character than Alpha and will make a good heroin for the show. I just can't wait to see what he does and how it will end. 

Lastly, the mission to find Stephanie. I am so excited for the possibility of Eugene finding love. He has had a selection of bad luck since coming into the show and it would be really nice to see him truly happy. And as for this new character, I feel like she will be an amazing addition to the group.
