Morning Star

Synopsis:

Over the radio, the stranger, Stephanie, finally reveals her name and location to Eugene; they plan to meet in one week. Alpha and the Whisperers plan to attack Hilltop with the horde, forcing the community to start planning for battle; before the battle, Daryl reconciles with Carol. That night, Negan works with the Whisperers to lead the horde to Hilltop; the group fights back, but the Whisperers begin to burn the community using flammable tree sap.

Opinions of the admins:

I was never a fan of Eugene in the beginning but I feel like he has become such a different person since the growth of Alexandria. We have seen him grow into a confident character that embraces the fact that he is good at making things. But lets talk about Stephanie. I feel like it is about time that he got some love in his life which wasn't for someone who couldn't return those feelings. I am really happy for him, but it does make me question who this woman is and what community she is from. I am a little behind the show in terms of the comics so it's an unknown area for me, but I am quite excited to see where she is from and what is going to happen with that story line. 

Next lets talk this Whisperer war. It has set it up to be a great one! I honestly thought that our group had prepared so much and would be able to give as good as they got but the episode saw them tested to their limits. I have to admit that the Whisperers are very resourceful and I think that this war will be a very close one. I can't wait to see what Alpha does next as I feel like she had quite a bit planned, with Beta and Negan by her side.
