synopsis:

A roaring fire, more beautiful character dynamics, and return of the Whisperers!

With a USSR satellite crashing into the forest by Oceanside, the group is forced to rush across Alpha's border and stop the fire from spreading.
Walkers flood to the fire spot and everybody works to take them out. Carol is the first to discover that there are Whisperers among them.
We later get a peek of Alpha at the quarry where she'd been holding her giant herd of walkers. With the walkers gone, Daryl and Carol head back to the group but not before Carol and Alpha exchange a look.

Is it just me or do other people ship Daryl and Connie? Cause like, OMG I'm loving their dynamic! What would their ship name be? Chris Hardwick says that the Connie and Daryl ship name would be Caryl but that can't be it cause of Daryl and Carol :(

Lydia and Negan have an interesting dynamic because they've both kind of played on the enemies side but now they're part of the community. I feel like they might be able to create a unique dynamic with that.

Daryl and Carol with the friendship bracelets was such an adorable scene. What other types of scenes would be interesting to see with Caryl?

When Carol got off the boat and she was talking with Ezekiel, it was super awkward and I felt bad for Ezekiel. He really cares for Carol but they just don't have that romantic dynamic anymore. Although it was nice to see that Daryl and Ezekiel seem to have a better dynamic now.

Oh man this season is of to a great start! I absolutely loved the opening scene with everyone training together to kill those walkers. It was badass! I'm so happy the communities are working together again that was something I really missed last season. Also that new scene in the opening credits with Rick standing on that bridge? And the spikes? It almost made me scream. How dare they throw that in our faces.

I also really loved the character dynamics. Carol and Daryl are, as always, great together and so fun to watch. I loved the little chats between Michonne and Aaron and the mentions of Carl and Rick. Even though they're gone they continue to have such an impact on everything and everyone, which is tragic and beautiful at the same time.

Also, can Connie and Daryl please get together? Like right now? Daryl deserves happiness and even though Carol offered to run away, he choose to stay and asked her to do so as well. I never really saw him with a love interest before since he has that lone wolf act going but last season and this season he feels kind of different. He's grown more and I think that right now is actually the perfect time to have him fall in love. It would just go perfect with his character development.

Alright one last thing before I shut my mouth again, Alpha seriously creeps the shit out of me. That stare she does with those wide and dead eyes just makes me shiver. Also, I really wished Carol just shot her down in that moment. Would've been nice :)
