The Doctor was wild and adventurous, sometimes I couldn't keep up. We've been to so many places; from sliding across a planet made of water and twirling around different star systems. It's hard to believe that this is all real.

However, there was one place I wanted to go the most. I knew I couldn't do anything to prevent the events to, but at least I would see the person I missed the most.

"My dad, Doctor." I tried to explain "He died of cancer when I was seven and I want to see him before I die. Can I do that?"

She took a few breaths, thinking if that were possible. Suddenly, she pulled a lever and off we went. Through the time vortex, past events that have already unfolded until finally landing somewhere.

I waltzed out into the light and found myself in my old home. It looked so different. My room wasn't even decorated and the carpet was brown instead of white. It was like stepping into a photo.

Then I heard the coughing. A smile protruded on my face as I ran across the hallway to see him; the Doctor following along from behind.

I burst through the door to find my dad, sitting upright in a state of shock and surprise. I gasped, seeing him like this. Standing speechless in front of him, he examined me closely.

"Daddy?" I muttered.

His eyes widened as he slowly crawled out of bed, strolling up to me. He stroked my hair, brushing my light curls.

"My daughter." He smiled "Is it you?"

I grabbed him by the neck, pulling him into a hug. My tears dripped down onto his pyjamas; making his shoulders damp.

"My daddy." I spoke, my throat closed up and swelled "I love you."

"I love you too, darling."
