It's been a few days and yet the kittens continued to say they see their mother. Lord Beerus was getting tired of hearing it but gave up trying to tell them different. It was in the middle of the night, Whis was off running errands while he decided to entertain himself by walking around his home. It was a quiet night as he came down a hallway towards the Children's room. He then froze at the step as he heard low humming of someone singing.

I've been staring at the edge of the water
'Long as I can remember, never really knowing why
I wish I could be the perfect daughter
But I come back to the water, no matter how hard I try
Every turn I take, every trail I track
Every path I make, every road leads back
To the place I know, where I can not go, where I long to be

'Is that Heather? Or maybe Light?'

He thought. He came to the door and continued to hear the soft Melody singing, be smiled with a sly smirk.

'Either way it's past their bed time'

He then opened the door.

"Okay, Heather, Light what are you doing up?"

He asked with a smile but froze as the singing stop and was surprise to see all three of his kittens asleep. He raised an eyebrow as he closed the door. He then heard the singing continued and followed it to the baby's room.

See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me

If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me
One day I'll know, if I go there's just no telling how far I'll go

I know everybody on this island, seems so happy on this island
Everything is by design
I know everybody on this island has a role on this island
So maybe I can roll with mine

I'll be satisfied if I play along
But the voice inside sings a different song
What is wrong with me?

"Whis is that you? When did you get back? And I do got to say your singing got better"

He said with a smile but frown when he opened the room to the baby's door, no one was in there. He slowly closed the door but the singing continued and he immediately opened it wider and inspected the room in case anyone was trying to play a trick on him but found nothing. He let out a sigh as he shook his head.

"I must be going insane"

He said to himself. He then made his way to his bedroom that be once shared with Sabrina. As he got into bed he laid down and closed his eyes. The sound of singing now came from his room, but instead of inspecting he closed his eyes as the lullaby was putting him to sleep.

See the light as it shines on the sea? It's blinding
But no one knows, how deep it goes
And it seems like it's calling out to me, so come find me
And let me know, what's beyond that line, will I cross that line?

*Next Morning*

"And just where have you been?"

Lord Beerus asked to Whis who was making breakfast.

"I was running errands with Mrs. Bulma, you knew that"

"By any chance did you get back around midnight?"

Whis frown.

"No, I have just arrived a few moments ago. Why?"

"You might think this is crazy but I heard singing"

"Singing?"

"Yes, I assumed it was the girls because it sounded like a women's voice but when I checked their rooms they were all asleep, I even heard singing from the baby's room and nothing"

He said as he buried his face in his hands on the table.

"I thought it was you"

"Flattered, but it seems like their is something else you're not telling me"

"Yeah, when I was in my room. I also heard singing"

"Ah and did you see anyone?"

"Believe it or not the singing put me to sleep, but I didn't sense anyone"

"That is strange"

"And the worst part is when the children woke up they were asking for to be at the lake, even the baby wanted to be in the lake and he can't even speak yet"

Lord Beerus said in frustration. Whis let out a sigh.

"Alright then, for now on I will keep my eyes and ears open for anything suspicious"

Lord Beerus looked at him in confusion.

"You mean to tell me you weren't paying attention before?"

He asked. Whis simply laughs. Just then the children's came running through the living room.

"Skylar, Heather, Light what have I told you about running in the living room?"

Lord Beerus asked sternly. The children stood in front of their father.

"Not to run in the living room"

"Good. Now where are you all running off too?"

He asked.

"Outside"

Skylar said.

"Really, without permission?"

He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Oops sorry, may we please go outside and play father?"

Heather asked politely.

"You may"

Lord Beerus said with a nod.

*Night Time*

Whis frown as he walked up and down the hallway of Lord Beerus's room and the children's room. He was surprise to hear a female singing but couldn't locate the voice. He walked into the baby's room and the voice stopped.

'Hmmm, this is definitely strange'

He thought. He then made his way to the children's room and again the voice stopped.

'What is going on?'

He thought as finally came to Lord Beerus's room and the voice stopped.

'In a way the voice is soothing, what if it's supernatural. Maybe Yumi can help'

He thought.
