The next day after breakfast the childrens were in their play room. Lord Beerus let out a sigh as he stood standing in the door way with his hands behind his back and his tail moving slowly in the air. Heather took notice of her father's appearance and stop.

"Is there something you need father?"

She asked. When she asked, it caused Light and Skylar to freeze from what they were doing and looked towards the doorway.

"You want to play with us Dad?"

Light asked with a smile as she jump on top of the ball. Lord Beerus smiled and shook his head.

"Not right now little one, but I would like to talk to all of you"

He said as he turn his back to them.

"Follow me"

He said walking away. Skylar followed behind his father, then Heather and Light. They followed their father into the living room and sat down beside him. Heather sat herself on his lap, Light sat on his other lap and Skylar sat beside his leg.

"Is something wrong?"

Skylar asked since there was a moment of silence. Lord Beerus cleared up his throat.

"Right now I want all of you to be honest with me. I know it might hurt but I want to know how you feel"

"Feel about what?"

Heather asked. Lord sadly looked down at the ground.

"About your mother, how are you all of you doing?"

He asked. The children's smile disappeared as it came as they sadly looked away from each other.

"Son"

Lord Beerus said. Skylar looked up at his father with unshed tears that were threatening to fall.

"Speak"

He said. Skylar swallowed the lump in his throat.

"I-I um....I feel sad, like I let her down. I blame myself for letting it happen"

Lord Beerus was surprise at the confession. Heather then spoke up next.

"I should have fought harder and gave it everything I got, but I couldn't. I never want to forget about mom but it hurts me because it reminds me that she's not here"

Lord Beerus felt his heart broke at the words. Skylar and Heather were now sniffling trying to hold it in. All eyes went to Light as she broke down crying. Lord Beerus shut his eyes as he hugged his daughter close as he rubbed her back.

"Sshhh just let it out"

He said softly as tears gathered in the corner of his eyes.

"I didn't want to let go, but you all made me do it. I wanted to be by her side, I wanted to tell her I love her everyday. It's not fair. I don't want to lose anyone anymore, I don't like it. Please don't leave us Daddy!!"

She cried. Skylar and Heather jumped into their father's open arms as they all cried together. Whis heard the crying and went to the living room and saw the destroyer family hugging each other. He smiled sadly at them.

'At least this way, they will now comfort each other'

He thought to himself as he remained standing in the door way watching the moment. After a while of crying, the childrens were still in their father's arms.

"Now you tell us father"

Skylar said as he wiped his tears.

"How do you feel about mom?"

Heather asked with a sniffle.

"Yeah"

Light said curiously at what their father was going to say. Lord Beerus smiled as he cleared up his throat.

"I miss her dearly. There is no one else that can ever replace your mother. Plus I see her in each and everyone of you, so that brings me closure as if she was still here with us. Now let me ask you all something"

The children's ears picked up more as they listen closely to their father.

"Why haven't none of you spoken about her? Or at least told me how you felt all this time"

The childrens looked at each other before looking to their father.

"Because we didn't want to make you sad Dad"

Skylar answered honestly.

"We can see you were just trying to be strong for us"

Heather said softly.

"We tried to be happy for you"

Light said quietly. Lord Beerus sadly smiled as he embrace them harder before pulling away gently.

"Next time if you ever feel like crying please tell me. I don't want to make the same mistake that I did last time. I want to listen and I am hear to listen to what you have to say and how you feel. For that way it could make all of us feel better. Understand"

He said. The children's smiled as they wipe their tears and hugged their father once again before hopping off the couch. Whis smile as he took the moment to step into the living room.

"Now, how is everyone today?"

He asked cheerfully.

"Good"

The children's said together.

"Well that means all of you deserve an award. I had just made a banana split in the kitchen, let's all head to the dining room for some snack.

"Yes!!"

Skylar said excited as he ran towards the door with his two legs.

"Hey wait for me!!"

Heather said running on her two legs.

"Me too"

Light yelled running on all fours. Heather and Skylar were a bit older than Light and we're able to walk on their two legs except for Light who was still practicing. Lord Beerus stood up as Whis walked up to him.

"Feeling better now my Lord?"

He asked. Lord Beerus smiled as he let out a sigh.

"A bit, but it will pass"

He said as he looked around and turn to Whis.

"Where is my youngest son?"

He asked. Whis gasp.

"Oh he's in his crib at the moment, shall I go get him?"

"No I will"

Lord Beerus said as he walked out of the living room and into the bedroom of his son while Whis went to keep an eye on the other three. Lord Beerus stopped at the door way in surprise to see his son not in the crib but on the floor trying to walk on all fours.

"Well, would you look at that"

He said with a proud smile. Baby Beerus looked up at his father and let out a mew as he tried walking to his father who was bending down with his arms stretched out.
