[Extend Description]

In year 3045 an outbreak of an infectious virus killed a majority of the Asian population in six months. One year later, the virus had spread to Africa which killed most of their population in eleven months. By 3047, the virus had spread to South America. Killing over 6 billion people in three years, the virus crept its way to North America

The virus was originally created for population control, but the injection had severe side effects. Some of the many outcomes of the virus were madness, rotting, irritation, and death. Many people suffered less pain by committing suicide, others suffered slowly. No matter the cause of death, many of the infected humans revived in a zombie-like state.

Luckly, three glass domes were created in Japan by the remaining scientists and engineers. Inside of these domes lived the last of humanity (approximately 100,000 people). These domes may have been created for people, but it is hell trying to reach them. Most have died.

Unable to test why the infected desire human flesh, scientists fled to Japan safely in order to run experiments and attempt to regain their lands. The cure is still unknown.

Being born before the infection, Eren Yeager lived a normal life. He lived with both of his parents and his adopted sister, Mikasa Ackerman. At the age of ten, the infection had spread to North America. Killing 70% of the population, the family had remained strong.

Armin Arlert, Eren's best friend, finds a journal with written instructions and information about a secret base were a cure is supposedly held, along with the supplies necessary to abolish the infected race.

By year 3049, Eren watched his mother die before his eyes. Being eaten alive, Eren watched in terror. On that day, Eren swore to avenge his mother's death by vowing to wipe out the entire infected population off the face of the earth.

With the undying desire to avenge his mother's death and the mysterious disappearance of his father, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin head out on a journey in search of the secret base.
