Location: The Dark Beauty Castle

As Y/n was taken into the castle by the infamous Mad Doctor, he soon woke up by the sound of thunder and looked around to not be in his dorm room but in a strange dark castle before he found himself strapped into a operating table by the Mad Doctor himself.

The Doctor cackled before showing the boy a diagram of himself with a gold colored heart on his chest that is drawn on a chalkboard as he plans to rip the golden heart from Y/n's chest with a machine that he uses to the poor, innocent toons that had their hearts removed that left them all forgotten and not letting them leave the world after the Phantom Blot took over the Wastelands.

Y/n was now trembling in fear that the sinister scientist is about to rip his own heart out like a savage as he pulled a lever that activates the machine to begin the Heart Removal Transplant, not knowing that a certain cartoon mouse was watching the whole thing with Y/n and the Mad Doctor as the doctor started electing different selections to remove the heart from the boy such as a pair of scissors, a drill, a chainsaw, and finally a plunger that is the most dangerous option as the plunger latched onto Y/n's stomach and he can feel his own heart that started glowing a gold color as the machine started ripping the boy's heart of gold out of his body with the boy screaming in pain and the Mad Doctor laughing evilly.

With an act of determination, Mickey then started sabotaging the machine, which gave Y/n the opportunity to break out of the operating table, grab the plunger from the machine and threw it over to the Mad Doctor that latched onto his face.

Y/n got off the operating table and suddenly found his backpack with all of his art supplies on the ground that must've somehow brought into the world with him as he went over to pick up his stuff before glaring at the Mad Doctor that managed to get the plunger out of his face and looks at the boy that is acting like a hero before laughing at his attempts to stop him.

But then, the Phantom Blot suddenly dropped down, landing onto Y/n's backpack as he stepped back and looked up to the Blot with fear in his eyes, before looking down to see both his paintbrush and No.2 pencil as he quickly picked them up and pointed it to the Phantom Blot like he's holding a magic sword, which actually caused the Blot to flee and the Mad Doctor was shocked to find the Blot retreating from a young boy like Y/n and pulled a lever to activate a trap door to make his escape.

Mickey was surprised to see how brave and determined Y/n was with him picking up his backpack that turned out to be unharmed when the Phantom Blot landed on it before looking up to see the one and only Mickey Mouse.

Y/n was shocked to see one of his favorite cartoon characters in person, but when the mouse walked over to Y/n, he backed up a little due to his shy behavior. However, Mickey can tell how traumatized Y/n is right now as he makes an attempt to tell Y/n that he's not a bad toon.

Mickey: It's alright, little boy. I'm not gonna hurt you. I was the one who sabotaged the Mad Doctor's machine so you can escape. (Pulls out his hand for a handshake) My name is Mickey Mouse, nice to meet ya. What's your name?

Y/n was hesitant at first, but gladly accepts the handshake and trusts the mouse's hospitality after he saved his life from the Mad Doctor.

Y/n: Y/n...Y/n L/n...and it's nice to meet you too, Mickey. Thanks for saving me from the Mad Doctor.

Mickey: My pleasure. I hate to see you getting tortured by the Mad Doctor, he's the one who stole everyone and my heart that is preventing us from escaping this nightmare.

Y/n: (Shocked) He did that?!

Mickey: He sure did and after I saw you getting dragged here by the Phantom Blot and taken in by the Mad Doctor, I had to do something to save you. So, I quietly sneaked in and sabotage his machine to free you and I was surprised to see you standing up to both the Phantom Blot and the Mad Doctor like a knight in shining armor. I never seen someone like you standing up to the monster that corrupted this world into a neverending nightmare. How did you end up here anyway, kiddo?

The boy was surprised to hear that from his favorite toon, but if he tries to tell him about what happened to the world he ended up in after he, Billy Mason and his goons entered in through his bedroom mirror, he might accuse him for being the one that caused all this to happen. But, seeing how Mickey was desperate to hear about how he ended up here in the castle by the Phantom Blot, how could he not tell that to his favorite cartoon mouse as he does his best to explain Mickey what really happened.

Y/n: Well, when I was sleeping in my room at the orphanage, I saw my bedroom mirror glowing and my curiosity got the best of me and as I went through the mirror, I saw a wizard working on a beautiful world and I was amazed by his sense of creativity and I didn't want to mess up his fine work. But then a mean bully named Billy Mason and his friends, Nate and Larry followed me into the room and Billy pushed me that knocked over the cups of paint and thinner that create the monster that dragged me here. I tried to stop the monster and fix everything, but I made it worse and we all panicked and went back to the mirror back to the orphanage before we got caught.  I'm sorry if I was the one who caused all of this.

Mickey gasped in shocked after hearing his story of really happened and Billy Mason was the one who caused the problem and the creation of the Phantom Blot that took over the Wastelands as he doesn't blame the boy for everything that has happened here. He then gave the boy a hug after seeing the poor boy crying out tears of guilt and sadness and let's him cry out of his worries over his shoulder, not caring about his tears soaking up his fur as he slowly rubs his gloved hand on his back to calm him down.

Mickey: There, there. It's okay, I'm not mad at you after you told me everything. You're not responsible for all of this mess. I believe you.

Y/n: (Sniffs) You do?

Mickey: Of course. In fact, I bet if we worked together, we can stop all of this and save the Wastelands. That way, everyone will believe that you're not the villain, you will be a hero with a heart of gold.

Y/n: You really think I can fix all of this this?

Mickey: Of course you can, as long as we stick together and work together like a team, we'll stop the Phantom Blot from his evil reign of terror. I promise that I will help you out no matter what happens around here, you deserved better and I will not let anything happen to you ever in this world.

Y/n was happy to have a friend like Mickey to watch over him and not let anything happen to him as long as he is around to protect him from danger. He then gave his new friend a big hug, which surprises Mickey at first before he glady hugged back, knowing that he made promise to Y/n and will forever be in his debt from now until the end of time.

But then, as they both continued hugging, Y/n soon saw a rabbit toon with blue shorts that he suddenly recognizes as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit as he is near the Mad Doctor's machine before he spotted Y/n watching him.

Y/n: Hey, is that Oswald the Lucky Rabbit?

Mickey: Huh? Really? (Looks behind him to see his half-brother) Oswald?

Suddenly, after getting caught by the boy, he quickly ran over to the lever and pulled it down really hard to activate the trap door, only for him to break off the lever that caused the machine the malfunction with it's blue eye turning red and started attacking the Oswald before the lucky rabbit panicked and ran out of the room without getting hurt.

Then the machine sets it sights on both Y/n and Mickey as the mouse quickly grabbed out his magic paintbrush and went behind Y/n to protect him from the machine, until they both hear a hearty laugh nearby as a gremlin by the name of Gus started distracting the machine for Mickey to scoop up Y/n in his arms to find some cover while the gremlin continues to distract the machine.

Gus: Over here you bucket-o-bolts!

The machine started attacking Gus, but he was too fast for the machine as he quickly dodges it attacks that also resulted in breaking a few parts of the castle.

Gus: Missed Me!

The Machine then continued attacking Gus, which he gave the two of them the signal to come up to the ledge where he's at to stop the machine before it could catch them in the act.

Gus: Over here, you two!!!! Get up here to this control panel to shut off this machine!

Then the machine soon spotted the two after Gus hid behind the control panel as the machine can't spot Gus while being behind the control panel as Mickey started climbing up the stairs with Y/n in his arms, holding onto Mickey in a tight grip as they make to the control panel with Gus and has an idea on destroying the machine by destroying the control panel that keeps the machine up and running.

Gus: Glad you two made it here alive. We're safe here in this spot. This control panel can be damaged with a spin move. I'll keep distracting it while you two work together to destroy these control panels to stop the machine.

Mickey: We're on it, Gus.

With that, Gus then teleported to the other side and the machine soon spotted it and began attacking him again with him dodging it's every move. Mickey then put Y/n down to do a spin attack move onto the control panel, but before he could do it, he looked at Y/n that is currently shaking like a leaf by what is currently happening right now. Mickey then reassures Y/n that there's nothing to fear from all of this and asks him to push fear aside and show Mickey how brave he can be like how he faced the Phantom Blot without any signs of fear. 

Mickey: Look, I know your scared by what's happening, but I know you can handle this situation like a brave hero that you can be. You just need to show no fear and man up if we're gonna stop the Phantom Blot and save everyone. I know you can do it, Y/n. Show me what a brave hero you can be. I believe in you.

Y/n was touched by Mickey's motivation to man up and be a hero as he took a deep breath and pushed his fear aside for determination to fill in the void and is ready to help out Mickey to take out the Mad Doctor's machine.

Y/n: You're right, Mickey. I should not let my fears get the better of me. I am a brave hero and I will save the world from the forces of evil!

Mickey: That's the spirit, Y/n! Now let's go teach that bucket of bolts who's boss!

Y/n: Yeah, let's do it!

With a burst of energy filled with both courage and determination, they both did a spin attack move together and destroyed the control panel, causing the machine to malfunction for a moment before powering back up, meaning that one destroyed control panel is not gonna stop the machine as the second control panel is right at the other side of the ledge, where Gus is at.

So, Mickey offered Y/n a piggyback ride and Y/n grabbed onto Mickey's back and did not let go until Mickey makes it over to the other side of the ledge to reach the other control panel and the two of them gave it their all and spin attacked the control panel and the machine soon malfunctioned and was out of commission for good. Soon after the machine was shut down, a door soon opened, revealing another room to another part of the castle.

The two of them high-five each other in victory for stopping the machine and they are on their way in stopping the Phantom Blot's reign of terror once and for all.

Then Gus floated towards them to congratulate them on defeating the machine and was surprised to see a young boy like Y/n having the courage and determination to stop one of the Mad Doctor's most dangerous inventions.

Gus: Well done you two. You both stopped the machine and it looks like the destruction of the machine has revealed a secret room!

Mickey: Great, this should lead us to get to Toon Town. Thanks for helping us out, Gus.

Gus: Not a problem, Mickey, but who is this young lad? I never seen someone like him take out one of the Mad Doctor's machines before in my life.

Mickey: Oh, this is the boy that was brought here by the Phantom Blot. His name is Y/n and he told everything about what really happened and it turns out that he's not the one who created the Phantom Blot and caused the destruction of the Wastelands.

Gus: Oh my! Well, it's a good thing you came around to stop the Mad Doctor from stealing heart, otherwise he'll be trapped here with the rest of us. 

Mickey: I sure did and I made a promise that I won't let him out of my sight and he's gonna help us clean up the mess that the Phantom Blot made and save the Wastelands.

Gus: I see. (Floats over to Y/n) Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, young one. My name is Gus and I am here to help you and Mickey to guide you two through the wastelands. 

Y/n: Nice to meet you too, Mr. Gus.

Gus: (Chuckles) No need to be formal, young Y/n, but you can just call me Gus. 

Y/n: Ok, but why did Oswald ran away from us like that? Was he...afraid of me...

Mickey: What? No no no. Ozzie would never think of you like that.

Y/n: Yeah, but what he thinks that I was the caused of all of this?

Gus: That's absurd. There's no way that someone like you to create this nightmare, but we're gonna get to the bottom of this! We're gonna go after Oswald and tell him the truth about what happened.

Y/n: Are you sure about that, cause by the look on his face, I think he's not going to believe that I am innocent.

Mickey: Don't worry, Y/n. We'll do our best to convince him that you're not the villain, even if we try to help out everyone around us to prove them that you're a true hero of the Wastelands.

Gus: He's no wrong about that, kiddo. We might be able to aid the inhabitants of the wastelands with your help that might convince everyone that you're innocent. 

Y/n: (Thinking about what they're saying) You know what, you both may be right. Even though this world is under the Phantom Blot's control, but there's still a chance to save this world from his reign of terror. I'd say we follow where Oswald is heading to and we can try to help some people on the way. 

Mickey: Great idea, Y/n. That's a great idea.

Gus: Well, what are we waiting for then. Let's get a move on before Oswald gets away.

Y/n: Alright then, let's go.

So, the trio then left the room through the secret door to find Oswald, stop the Phantom Blot and save the Wastelands.

However, as the three of them left the room, they didn't realize that Y/n wasn't the only one that was transported into the Wastelands by the Phantom Blot as three young boys were hiding behind some machinery and saw the whole thing after Y/n was captured by the Mad Doctor, saved by Mickey and Gus and how they planned to follow where Oswald is heading to figure out a way to stop the Phantom Blot once and for all to save the Wastelands.

It was Billy Mason and his goons, Nate and Larry and after they saw everything, Billy was not liking any of this as he believes that he should be the one who should be saved by Mickey and Gus from the Mad Doctor and save the people of the Wastelands from the Phantom Blot.

Nate and Larry on the other hand, didn't like what Mason is up to as he plans to follow them and think of a plan to convince the other residents of the Wastelands that he's the real deal, not Y/n as he ran after the trio with Nate and Larry following behind him, regretting everything of what they're both about to do with Billy Mason and started thinking about switching to the side of good, so they don't have to deal with any kind of punishment that Billy Mason is about to get when Y/n manages to stop the Phantom Blot and save the people of the Wastelands.

So, if they both leave Billy Mason to deal with his plan and let karma get the better of him, those two might be able to get the redemption they need to start their lives over with a clean slate in their names and be friends with the soon-to-be Hero of the Wastelands...as Y/n, Mickey and Gus head their way to the deeper parts of the Dark Beauty Castle.
