➵ Date + Pack Movie Night

"Stiles, I swear, if you take me to a fancy restaurant. I'm going to kill you." I groaned, my forehead pressed against the jeep's window.

"I promise, it isn't anything fancy. Now will you stop? Please?" Stiles momentarily glanced at me as he drove. "You're going to love it."

"Fine." I sighed, biting back a grin.

"Besides. We're almost there." Stiles laced his free hand with mine. A few minutes later, Stiles pulled the jeep into the Preserve. With a grin, he undid his seatbelt and reached towards the back seats. He pulled out a picnic basket and a plaid blanket. I perked an eyebrow at him. "What?"

"Did you think of this all by yourself or did someone help you?"

"You know, your faith of my romantic side is lowering my self-esteem." Stiles told me as he opened his door. I chuckled and followed him out.

"Please." I giggled out, skipping up next to him. I hooked my arm into his and placed my chin on his shoulder. "You and I both know someone had to tell you that I love picnics because we have never discussed about this."

"Okay, okay." Stiles sighed, his lips twitching into a smile. He looked down at me as we started to walk towards the area Stiles picked out. "I may or may not have IM'ed your brother."

"You IM'ed Percy? Of all people?" I groaned out, holding back the urge to face palm.

"What? He was very informative. He told me that you and Kira would always go outside, during lunch, and have a picnic every Friday. I thought that would be nice if I did the same thing for my girlfriend."

"Well," I wet my lips. "You're lucky I do think that this is nice. Thank you."

"Good." Stiles smiled down at me. He pecked my lips. "Now come on. I think you're going to love the place I picked out."

"It isn't the Nemeton, right? 'Cause that would be a weird place to eat. Although it would make a great table..." I trailed off as Stiles stopped. He stood in front of me, blocking my view of the scenery. I could hear water flowing a few feet away. I raised an eyebrow at him. "What are you doing? Are we here?"

"We're here."

"Then...can you move please? I want to see-"

"Not yet!" Stiles told me, waving his hands around. He set down the basket and the blanket on the ground. He then placed his hands over my eyes. "Turn around and let me set it up."

"Stiles," I chuckled out. "I can help you set it-"

"Nope! Not gonna happen. Let me do." Stiles turned me around.

"Then why can't I see it?" I asked him. I really wanted to turn around and see what he was hiding.

"Because I said so. Is that not a good enough reason to not turn around yet?" Stiles called out.

"But I want to see." I pouted, crossing my arms. A few minutes has passed, and I was starting to grow anxious. I was tapping my foot from the nerves. What could he be setting up besides a picnic? "Can I see now?"

"Almost done!"

"Good. Can I see now?" I hoped.

"Annnnd done! Okay, you can turn around." Stiles informed me. Biting my lip, I turned around and gasped. The blanket was only a foot or two away from a small stream. Two plates with sandwiches and fruit were neatly placed on top of the blanket. A bottle of Big Blue was set on one side of the blanket while the other side had Coca-Cola.

"You got me Big Blue?" I chuckled out, wiping away the stray tears from the corner of my eyes. Since when did I start crying?

"Well yeah, Percy told me that was your fav-are you crying?" Stiles asked. He walked over towards me, cupping my face. With his thumbs, he swiped away the tears for me. I let out an embarrassed chuckle. "Hey, hey. Why are you crying?"

"I'm sorry." I said with a smile, trying to wipe away any other stray tears. "It's happy tears. I promise. It's just-it's just this is one of the sweetest things anyone has ever done for me. Thank you. Really. Thank you Stiles."

"Well, I mean-" I cut him off with a kiss. Stiles blinked as he stared at me. His mouth was slightly open after the kiss. "Uh."

"Let's go eat." I said, pecking his cheek. I grabbed his hand and started to lead him towards the picnic.

"I-okay."

"Well, he did tell me about that one time, you two and Annabeth took those kids out trick-or-treating." Stiles told me. He bit into his sandwich.

"Oh gods, no." I grumbled out.

"You have quite the mouth on you, don't you?" Stiles laughed.

"It's not my fault! I'm telling you, it runs in my blood. Percy is the same way." I tried to defend myself. I pouted and popped a raspberry into my mouth. "Besides, I don't know why he was yapping on about that. I'm surprised he didn't tell you a different story."

"Like what?" Stiles asked, tilting his head as he chewed.

"How Percy and I first met." I chuckled out. "It's quite a story."

"Well, go on."

"Okay. Well, when I first arrived at camp, it was when Percy, Tyson, Annabeth, Grover, Clarisse got back from their quest from the Sea of Monsters. Chiron and Mr. D were explaining to me about the camp, since I already knew about the Greek gods and all of that jazz. I-"

"Wait, you never told me how you knew about all of that. All you have told me was that dracanae killed your mother and that was it."

"After that happened," I sighed out. "I was in the streets for about two years. I had to fight monsters with a pocket knife that I had stolen from a rock store. Why they were selling pocket knives, I do not know. Anyways, I had somehow ran into Gleeson Hedge and he took me to camp. Well, that day, Clarisse had arrived before I did. So when my brothers, Grover and Annabeth came in, I was startled. Since Tyson was a Cyclops, I thought he was bad. I freaked out and went to grab my knife, but Percy managed to stop me. I almost cut off his head."

"Woah...yeah. That was a more interesting story." Stiles said.

"Yeah, it took me a while to trust them. I had trust issues when I was younger. I mean, I still do now, but not as bad. I'm able to pick out who and who not to trust." I shrugged.

"Like Theo."

"Like Theo." I nodded.

"Well!" Stiles clapped. "Let's start packing. I'm pretty sure Scott had rambled about the Pack Movie Night at my place tonight."

"Yeah." I laughed, standing up to help Stiles put up the picnic. "He wouldn't shut up about it."

"Well, that's Scott for you." Stiles laughed, placing the trash into a plastic bag and tying it off. "He rambles when he get's excited. And he really loves Pack Movie Night. It de-stresses the pack, ya know?"

"It sounds like a really fun thing for the pack to do." I smiled, folding the blanket.

"It is." Stiles nudged me as he grabbed the basket. "You do know you're a part of the pack, right?"

"I am?" I asked.

"Yeah. I mean, we all trust you. You save our asses. And, not to mention, you're family." Stiles told me as we walked back towards the jeep. A warmth spread throughout my heart.

"I'm pack?" I grinned cheekily. Stiles laughed and kissed me.

"You're pack."

"Can we watch a Disney movie?"

"No, we are not watching some princess-y movie." Liam rolled his eyes at Lydia.

"It isn't going to be a princess movie!" Lydia protested.

"Oh yeah? Then what movie?"

"Lilo and Stitch!"

"How about Indiana Jones?" Mason asked. "Harrison Ford is in there."

"I'd rather watch Harry Potter." Malia said, sitting down on the ground.

"Harry Potter sounds nice." Hayden agreed.

"Yes! Put on Harry Potter! Scott, put that one on." I told Scott. Everyone laughed at my reaction. I blushed.

"Alright, alright." Scott laughed, looking for one of the Harry Potter movies in his CD collection.  "Does it matter which one?"

"No."

"Good, because I only have Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban." Scott sheepishly said.

"Just put on the damn movie." Stiles chuckled out, pulling me closer into him. I grinned and placed my head on his chest. Stiles smiled down at me and intertwined our fingers together. He pressed his lips against the top of my head.

"Oooh! That was a cute picture." Lydia squealed, looking at her phone.

"What picture?" Malia asked.

"Of Nevah and Stiles." She grinned.

"Oh! I want to see!" Malia shot up and went to go stand next to the strawberry blonde. "That's a cute pic."

"When did you take a picture of us?" I asked, afraid to know the answer.

"Just now." She laughed at my expression. "Don't worry, I'll take more throughout the day. I'll send it to Stiles and he can print you one."

"That sounds great." I blushed. I really hope it turned out cute. "I'll have it on my nightstand back home."

"Then I better take some really good ones." Lydia winked.
