010. kill him again

HAVING BEEN TOLD ABOUT HER uncle surviving the fire and being brought back from the dead, Valentina was... surprised. The last time she could remember seeing him was when he picked her up from school once, and it was the most awkward car ride that she had ever experienced in her entire life. Safe to say, she didn't like him.

Even before the murdering of her cousin, Laura Hale, and other countless civilians, his company was never something she wanted. "No, 'hello uncle Peter, I'm so glad that you're alive.'?" After he said that, it only reassured her thoughts that he didn't deserve to make it out of the fire. So many kind people were lost in that fire, yet Peter had managed to get out alive such.

Sometimes, she would think that she never deserved to make it out, though she wouldn't dare to say it aloud. Along with all her family and their hopes and dreams, a little piece of her soul seemed to have died with them. It was peaceful to know that a part of her with still with them, but that peace was seemingly demolished the moment that she knew her uncle was alive.

The whole loft went silence until Valentina turned to him, saying blatantly, "No, screw you." Then continuing to move towards the main table, where Stiles already was, chuckling lightly at her comment. He began to lay out the the map as Peter let out, "I deserve that." Only to make her turn back to him with the scariest expression anyone in the room had ever seen.

"Let's just get on with this, I don't want them interacting for too long." Derek suggested quickly, not wanting to see wherever that glare was going to lead to. Almost immediately after that was said, Scott entered the loft with his motorcycle helmet in his hands before he tossed it to the side. To say that the young werewolf was unprepared for this, would be an extreme understatement.

"Okay. You see this?" Stiles tapped to an area on the map of the bank with this tip go his red pen lid. "This is how they got in. It's a rooftop air conditioning vent. Leads down inside into the wall of the vault, which is here." To make it more clear, and for any future references, he circled whereabouts he was pointing towards.

Moving closer to see the map in a better light, Peter became cautious when he moved closer to his niece. "One of the robbers was lowered into this shaft. Now, that space is so small, it took them about twelve hours to drill into that wall, which is stone, by the way. Then throughout the rest of the night, they siphoned the cash up to the guys back on the roof," The Stilinski boy tapped the pen again, whilst the previous alpha returned to his seat on the staircase.

"Through that one little shaft in the wall. Boom." He had obviously been extremely proud of himself for finding out what he had, and seemed to get on Valentina's nerves for some reason. Whatever was happening between them was confusing, and she didn't like it. One moment they were stuck with a really odd tension, the next they were both really pissed off at each other.

Valentina had wondered whether he was simply hiding something from her, but knowing she wasn't in a situation where she would be able to think about that for too long, Derek's next words dragged her out of her mind. "Can we fit in there?"

"Yes, we can, but very, very barely. And they also patched up the wall, obviously, so we're going to need a drill of some kind. I'm thinking maybe a diamond bit—" Stiles's head turned to the older Hale as he interrupted him, telling him top forget one of the details in what he thought of as a flawless plan. "Sorry, what? Forget the drill?"

Scott's eyebrows furred, slightly worried about what he best friend was getting himself into. "If I go in first, how much space do I have?" They turned to each other, the young brunette beside them crossed her arms and fought the urge to smirk at what her cousin was suggesting. It was clever, she would certainly give him that. "What do you think you're gonna do? You gonna punch through the wall?"

A small sigh spilled from his lips before he turned to the younger boy, slightly frustrated at how after al they had been through he was seeming to underestimate him. After the years that he had spent living with his family, he realised how dangerous underestimating a Hale was. It made he family seem slightly toxic at times, but never really his side of it.

"Yes, Stiles, I'm gonna punch through the wall."

"Okay, big guy." With Stiles' tone at the beginning of the sentence they all could see where this part of their conversation was going, but she wasn't going to deny that she was going to enjoy seeing her cousin put the boy back into his place. "Let's see it. Let's see that fist. Big, old fist. Make it, come on. Get it out there, don't be scared. Big, bad wolf. Yeah, look at that. Okay, see this?"

He grabbed Derek's wrist and placed his hand up a few inches a way from it, signifying that his hand was the wall. "That's maybe three inches of room to gather enough force to punch through solid—" Surprising only Scott, he pushed his fist forward into his hand which caused him to fall back and grasp his hand quickly, scared that it had possibly been broken by the sheer force of his fist.

The young werewolf watched as his best friend walked over to where the sofa bed was, also worried whether there had been some serious damage, while Valentina chuckled at his reaction to being hurt. "Aah! Aah! He can do it." He began to rub his wrist rather violently, wincing as he did so but he after looking up to see her reaction, he raised his eyebrows and tried to ignore the pain.

In response to why she was watching, the brunette smirked and shrugged slightly before turning back to see how her cousin was going to bring them back onto topic. "I'll get through the wall." A small whimper came as a response from where Stiles sat, almost squatted on the ground, examining his wrist for any physical sign of an injury. "Who's following me down?"

Derek looked past his cousin to his uncle, which managed to annoy the both of them for different reasons, but it was obvious that she was annoyed because she was been underestimated. A seemingly common thing to happen to the Hale family. "Don't look at me. I'm not up to fighting speed yet, and honestly, with Isaac out of commission, you're not looking at very good odds for yourself."

She frowned at what he had said, and deeply resented him for it. Sure, she had her times when she quite blunt with everyone, which was pretty much all the time, yet even Peter knew how much a pack meant to someone. "So I'm just supposed to let them die?"

Pain seeped through every word at the idea of another one of beta's dying. Though Derek was Hale so he had a very unique way of showing his pain, but she managed to see right through his façade. He used the table to support his upper body weight as he glared towards the previous alpha, while his cousin watched as Scott reacted to what was happening.

"One of them's already dead." He continued to look down onto the map of the bank, unable to face even the idea that Erica was dead. While he seemed to repressed his emotions, the older Hale only got angrier and shared his disagreement with him. In their different way they were all trying to suppress the idea that the young blonde was dead.

"Do I have to remind you what we're up against here?" Stiles returned to the table, his hand seeming to be better as he looked over to Valentina, who seemed extremely interested in how her uncle was going to portray their 'enemy'. "A pack of Alphas. All of them killers. And if that's not enough to scare your testicles back into your stomach, try to remember that two of them combine bodies to form one giant Alpha. I'm sure Erica and Boyd were sweet kids. They're gonna be missed."

"Can someone kill him again, please?"

Peter glared at him while the young brunette seemed rather impressed by what he had said. "Derek, seriously, not worth the risk." He folded his arms over his chest and leaned further backwards, which only made her wanted to know him off of the stair step entirely. She had an idea that Derek might be slightly annoyed at her if she did that though.

"Look," Valentina began, causing the attention in the room to shift over to her. "I'm an Alpha. I even out the playing field here. Where strength lacks," Her eyes moved slightly over to where Stiles was standing next, who easily took notice of this and was quick to take big offence. "I'm here. I can take them. I'll go."

"No, you're not going." The older Hale was quick to shut her down, and though he didn't like that she had so blatantly insulted him, the Stilinski boy had to agree that she would be the best candidate to tale with him. "I just got you back, Val." His words seemed to come out in more of a whisper, and he immediately dislike how vulnerable it had made him appear

Though her cousin had tried to put them in a talking position where they had to look at each other, she broke out of it and crossed her arms tightly over he chest before saying, "I can take care of myself." Feeling a vibration come from her pocket, she looked down at her phone while the rest of the group returned to the map and waited for her to read it before she made her final decision to the rest of the group.

UNKNOWN CONTACT
let him go

The small brunette looked up to Derek, fear sparkling in her eyes as lowered her eyeliner to the ground in shame. With that being taken as an answer, the group swiftly moved onto who else would be able to go with Derek, which was basically only one person.

"What about you?" He asked, clearly looking towards the McCall werewolf. It didn't really occur to Valentina why her cousin asked this, instead of assumed that he was already coming. From everything that they had already been through, surely he would have been accustomed to risking his life, she knew that she definitely had.

"Yeah, if you want me to come—" When the Stilinski's boy's voice was first heard, she thought it was a joke and wondered whether she was going to hate him for trying to be humorous in such serious moment. Instead she felt a slight hate for herself when she almost chuckled at how he was being serious.

"Not you."

The older Hale's serious tone caused Stiles to turned towards his best friend and point his finger. "Scott." He nodded, understanding how he might have not helped anyone there, though he'd never dare to say that aloud. Valentina would be like a vulture, prepared to just dig and dig into his stomach, destroying everything in there. It was a metaphor he really didn't like to think about much.

"I don't know about Erica. But if Boyd's still alive, we have to do something. We have to try." Expecting something else  to be added to the end of his sentence, Derek said but and crossed his arms over his chest. "Who's the other girl? The one locked in there with Boyd?" The small brunette bit her lip lightly, glancing over to Stiles, who was quick to notice her immediate reaction.
