Olivia blinked as she opened her eyes. "I'm fine?"

"Yeah," I said, groaning.

She looked down and saw that she had fallen on my back.

Olivia jumped up. "Ahh! I'm so sorry!"

I smiled. "At least I managed to break your fall."

She held out a hand. "Can you stand?"

I took her hand and nodded. "Yeah." I rubbed my back. "Though it might take awhile to recover."

Olivia sniffed as her eyes turned watery. "I'm sorry."

I patted her head. "Don't cry. At least both of us are fine. You could've gotten more hurt than I did. Try to be more careful from now on, okay?"

She cried.

"Oli?" I said, letting go of her.

"You're so nice, Jason! If I were you, I would be scolding me instead of consoling me."

I laughed. "It's easier to attract bees with honey than vinegar."

She calmed down. "I'm a bee?"

I snorted. "It's a metaphor. Let's go inside. I want to grab an ice pack."

Olivia started to tear up again.

I sighed. "Don't cry, crybaby."

"How can I not when I hurt you?"

I pouted. "Maybe I should've used vinegar."

She gulped as I glared at her.

I laughed. "Just kidding!" I rubbed the back of my head. "I'm not very good at scolding anyway."

I hated making other people cry. If only I had the strength to have caught her with my arms.
