I got up early and ran over to one of the battle facilities in the palace. Iah had suggested that I use it.

Had to walk carefully or else I could've woken up Alex who was out cold. Apparently he wasn't kidding when he said that he was tired.

I entered a plain looking room with a wooden floor. In the center of the room were lines marking the battlefield. Though I had no one to spar against.

I gasped as I saw something move from one side of the room to another in a blur.

"Jason?" I asked.

The blur stopped moving. A pair of blue eyes stared at me.

"Oh, hey Elliot!" a sweaty Jason said, waving at me.

"Since when did you start?" I asked, staring at his drenched shirt.

"A few minutes before you did." He a ran a hand through his hair.

I chuckled. "Really? You seem as if you've been at it for a good while."

His cheeks reddened. "Well, flashing from point A to point B is takes a lot of energy out of me."

"Figured that was the case. Still, you got to work on building up your stamina and your prana control."

"Mind teaching me?" he asked.
