TJ Strand is the daughter of Owen Strand and the younger twin sister of TK Strand. TJ is a member of Firehouse 118 in Los Angeles. After graduating high school in 2011, TJ went into the Army and became a Medic. She was medically discharged in 2013 after getting shot. She become a dual certified fd-medic when she was 20. She spent 2 years at the 252 before transferring to the 118 for the last 2. TJ is a recovering addict and has been clean since before she started at the 118. She goes with Bobby to meetings and in a way he is her secondary sponsor.

Most of this book was planned before the release of S7E4 and I just wanted to clarify a few things before the actual book starts. With the release of S7E4 and Bi Buck actually being canon, I'm going to introduce Bi Buck way earlier than in the show because this is a BuddieXOC fic. Obviously there were hints over the course of the show (or at least I believe there was) but it will actually be shown early on in this book even before Eddie joins in S2.
Also want to add that I had her whole backstory wrote by the time I realized that TK was actually born in 94 not 93 like I saw on 9-1-1 Wiki Fandom Page and I had not watched LS when I started writing for her. So I'm going to keep them being born December of 93 instead of December of 94 just for my sanity of not having to rewrite everything.
