Chapter 1 Childhood friends.

It was a nice and warm summer. Deep within the woods stood a beautiful cabin. A girl with beautiful snowy white locks and golden eyes, freckled features was standing outside. Today, she was going to be a little more adventurous. She hummed and started to walk down a different path. A path she /normally/ doesn't take. A boy with coppery hair was accompany her.

"So, tell me. Why are we taking this path?"

He questioned her. His voice laced with curiosity. The girl lightly shrugged her shoulders.

"I feel like... this path ... might lead us to something more fun. Perhaps!"

She, at least had enthusiasm to her voice. The boy hummed.

"Mm. Alright. I don't think we will get lost."

He spoke with confidence. The girl let out a small giggle,

"Ethan, I think we will be okay." She reassured him.

After about maybe ten or fifteen minutes, the two came across a boy with black hair. He sorta looked out of place but he also looked somewhat bored. He turned his attention towards the two. His attention more so on the girl.

"Hm. What brings you two here?" He asked.

"Oh, well.. I live not too far from here. U-uhm.. I decided to take a new path. Though I could ask you the same question." The girl had answered.

The black haired boy let out a snort yet subtle snicker.

"Oooh. I see. How fun. Exploring new places can be quite fun yet dangerous. Anyhow, my name is Loki. Can I get your names...?" He looked at the two.

"I'm Luna. And this is my friend Ethan." The girl spoke, gesturing to the red hair boy. Ethan scuffed but he decided to play polite. For now.

"Charmed." He lazily waved his hand. Loki crossed his arms and started to think. Ethan looked at Luna before sighing.

"Perhaps we should.. start to head home.." Ethan spoke out. Luna shook her head and rose a brow. "But.... We literally just got here..."

Loki had a small smirk on his face. He grew an idea. "Well, Luna. How about you and I go do some fun stuff. Perhaps we can get to know each other." He suggested. Luna pondered for a moment before answering. "Sure. I wouldn't mind hanging out with you." She smiled. Ethan blinked before he shook his head furiously. "No, no, no! You /cant/ just go ahead and walk off with somebody you literally just met and wander off. He could wonder off you to DANGER!" He frowned. He wasn't particularly happy that she chose to go with Loki's idea and hang out with him. Jealously started to slowly brew up inside of him.

Loki rose a brow and slowly raising his hands. "Worry not. I'm not going to lead her into danger. I know we had just met .. but... come on. I was just gonna do a prank. Really... I wanted to show her something cool-" he had a mischievous grin on his face. Luna stepped towards Loki and nodded. "Don't worry. I'll be home in a few hours and ... I'll be safe." She reassured her friend. Before Ethan can even let out a single word or letter, Loki and Luna was already on their way.

——

After about an hour of traveling, Loki came to a stop behind a huuugggeee bush. Coated with beautiful yellow blossoms. He had a hushed voice, looking towards Luna who was sitting next to him. "Okay. So. We have to wait for this person with long brown hair to show up. I'm going to do a prank on her." He chuckled. Luna nodded. "I'll watch from here."

After a few minutes, Loki saw a woman with brown hair approaching. He jumped out of the bush and quickly summoned up a little brown puppy. He set the puppy along to his side. The puppy wagged its tail and went in circles with Loki. The woman saw this and thought it was an innocent little boy playing with a puppy. She slowly approached him.

"May I pet your dog? He's so cute!" She giggled. Loki nodded. "Sure. But he bites.." He stated and when the woman was going in for a pet, the puppy suddenly turned into a dragon. A baby one and bit her finger. She screamed and ran off. The dragon disappeared and he started to laugh hard. Luna came out of the bushes and saw Loki.

"Hm. That wasn't very nice. What if she lost a finger?" She stared at him, lecturing a little. Loki pouted, "she didn't. Oh come now. Lighten up, Luna. Besides. It was a baby dragon. It could've been a full grown dragon. But I am not that mean." He crossed his arms and started to walk. She followed right by his side. "Say... where did you ... get that dragon...?" She Question.

Loki smiled widely. "I'm the god of mischief. I love pranks and I have some powers. I can summon up things. Besides. That dragon wasn't really real." He whispered to her. Which caused her to giggle. "Ah. I see, thank goodness. I really thought it was a real dragon- that was very convincing." She hummed lightly.

He chuckled and gently shook his head. "I wouldn't use a real dragon anyway. I don't want to be responsible if one loses a finger." He started to turn around, going back towards where they originally had met.

"Wait. So you're really the God of Mischief??" Luna sounded really impressed. (Not that she'd care if he really was or not.) Loki nodded. "Yep. Cool isn't it? But.. I can't go around to tell everybody that. I'm not really here for popularity or to make a lot of friends. I'm not good with friends or even making them." He admitted.

"Well~ I'll be your friend. I don't mind. You seem really nice and you're really fun." She stated, walking with him. Loki felt his face becoming a little warm.

"You... what...? You jest." He stopped. He was shocked. "Hm? No. I'm dead serious. I don't mind becoming friends with you and getting to know you better. In fact? Tomorrow, I'd love to hang out with you again!" She had a happy grin and a tone to her. Loki sensed she was.. warm and kind. He was nervous.

"I'm not... I'll think about that yeah.. but sure. We can hang out. I wont pull any dangerous pranks at all." Oh boy. He was pretty good at deceiving and lying to people. He sounded really convincing too. Luna already had trusted him so, she slowly started to nod.

"Okay! Well. Sadly I'm going have to start heading home. My mom doesn't like me hanging out for too long." She had told him. He nodded. "I have to head home as well. It is getting a little late. But.. perhaps.. we can meet at the same place.. same time?" He purposed.

"Sure. That sounds like a lot of fun." She nodded before she lightly grabbed onto his hand and started to walk towards home with him. Though he slowly let go of her hand and turned towards the opposite direction.

"I bid you farewell, Luna. It was quite the pleasure to meet you."

She nodded before waving him off.

"I can say the same to you, Loki."
